Monroe Country Store

I stopped at Monroe Store to pick up some beer for my daughter’s house. Their beer selection is fantastic. A wonderful mix of craft and domestic beers. Lots of choices, Reds, Ambers, Browns, Lagers, IPA’s, and more. I will definitely be back.

The owner and employees are amazing. Prices are low, and product availability is great. I enjoy shopping here! Thank you for being kind and courteous to your customers.

Stopped in around 9:20, sign said they closed at 8. They were a godsend after being stuck for hours in post eclipse traffic. Amazing prices and friendly employees. If I ever find myself in the area again, Ill definitely stop back in.

My wife went shopping here and the cashier helped her bring in her groceries. Excellent customer service. 👍

The new owners have started saying hello and acknowledging people, which is an improvement over their initial start. But the “country” part of the store is gone. All the local folks have been fired or replaced. Fresh produce, local meats, breads and treats are all but non-existent. The refrigerators that held these items is almost bare and gaps filled with Panera soups containers. Options for lunch have become very limited, a juice drink I got today was expired as of three months ago, so there isn’t proper stock rotation which makes eating their food sketchy. There are entire sections dedicated to craft beers now though as well as smokes, vapes, etc. It is becoming very much like a junk food city convenience store with the country flare and unique local feel almost entirely snuffed out. It’s definitely disappointing, probably more so to people in town who probably used this store as a grocery. It’s too bad, because there’s not much else around, but I won’t be getting lunch and snacks from here anymore.

A real gem of a country store. The selection is wide and the service is friendly. Family owned and operated. I stop in almost daily and have never had a bad experience. I buy almost all of my meat from here; top notch!

I love this store, it’s so convenient there is amazing fresh food always available. Great customer service and respect to the customers it’s awesome! Stop by and grab basically anything you need to camp! My property is right down the road from here and it’s just so great and convenient!

This has always been a clean & pleasant local store since it opened a few years ago with a great meat/deli section. The new owners (May 2023) are absolutely wonderful, kind and very, very nice and seem to really care that they have repeat customers. I highly recommend to stop in.

New owners a nice but they are ruining the country part of the store with all this stuff being put in. Its going to turn into a bad convenience store that you see on the corners of cities. If it wasnt the only store within ten miles, I would stop going to it because I used to love the store.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! Our subs were delicious and was able to grab some pre-marinated meat for dinner and a few groceries while there. Very convenient and will be returning often.

Nice store, but the woman who made our sub was nasty! After that we knew we would never go back. Found the Pit Stop up the road, nice friendly people and subs were better.

Would get 5 if you took EBT. Wonderful meat selection and great price. Also have a deli. Its a small well lit store where some do their weekly shopping. Across from the Monroe town hall.
