Grounded & Glowing

Lila is great and she has been caring for my skin (both facials and massages) for a couple years now. When I first moved to the area 5 years ago, I jumped around between some places in Santa Cruz and Monterey looking for a good facial and massage, but struggled. Then one day I came across Ground & Glowing/ Lila and I just felt like she not only cared, but that she understood what I needed, even if I couldn’t express it clearly.I just wrapped my last facial and massage with her yesterday (sadly, the only reason I won’t be seeing her anymore is that I’m moving!) and she found all the knots and tight places without me having to over explain anything. I’m also having some unusual bumps on my forehead, and she not only gave me a great facial and my skin looks and feels amazing, but she also gave me a small sample to try and then an additional recommendation if it doesn’t clear it up and smooth my skin back out.I truly could not recommend her more. She’s considerate, kind, professional and you get so much value for the cost (which I think is far better than most in the area). Her space is quiet, inviting and calm. And, if you really want to spoil and care for yourself, there’s an acupuncture place across the parking lot who does great work too.If you need a good spot for a quality facial and/or massage, don’t hesitate to contact Lila!

The vibe here is so relaxing. You walk in and almost immediately feel calm. It’s quiet, smells amazing and not too dark or too bright. Lila gets all the details down. Her voice is soft and reassuring. She lets you initiate conversation, if I’m feeling extra introverted I don’t feel pressure to talk. That being said, she’s very easy to talk to. Clean, professional, attentive. She really is the best. When I make an appointment for a treatment, I wanna be able to trust that my voice will be heard. Having to be overly assertive to get the treatment you want isn’t always worth it. With Lila, you don’t have to worry about that. She’s very attentive. You can tell she really cares.I’ve been a customer for a number of years. I’ve tried other places, much more expensive places, and have never had a better experience than here at Grounded & Glowing. Try this place out, you won’t regret it!

I’ve been seeing Lila for I believe the last 4 months maybe more. I could see results after my first treatment. My skin looks and feels healthier , texture has improved tremendously. I’ve gained so much knowledge on how to treat my skin, but above all, my confidence has improved. She’s professional and knowledgeable, all my visits have been done as if it was the first one. Lila was very knowledgeable and professional. We sat down and I explained my skincare concerns and she explained the different options. She examined my skin and gave me a facial based off the current needs of my skin. The environment was very peaceful and relaxing. I have been coming to Lila for monthly deep tissue massages to help with my constantly tight neck and shoulders. She does an amazing job getting rid of the soreness! Massages with her are relaxing, but also very therapeutic, with long-lasting pain relief results. I highly recommend her!

Lila worked all of the congestion out of my back and shoulder muscles. I had a lot of tension in my back that was causing some headaches which is what caused me to make an appointment with Lila’a Aesthetics. All of that pain and tension was alleviated after an hour of relaxing aromatherapy and massage. I left feeling like a new person.
