Pearl Street Night Club

Although the drink prices are rather high, and the head bartender can be a less-than-ideal person to deal with if you dont give him higher than average tips, this is one of my favorite concert venues. The downstairs is a very intimate concert experience, with a small, low stage and only room for a couple hundred people, whereas the upstairs is a much larger room, with a high stage, seating area, 2 bars, and attractive bartenders who dont serve you weaker drinks based on your tip history. I must have attended at least 50 shows there. Keep in mind, there is a full search policy here, so, dont try to bring in any extra-curricular items.

Well, no re-entry is rough for smokers. The beer is wickedly over priced for what they are offering. Great sound and space for dancing. Should have someone keep bathrooms refreshed, as they were out of soap and paper towels. Maybe should rethink allowing glass bottles. Glass can be used as a weapon if truly wanted to hurt someone. Also, if bottle broken on dance floor, someone could get seriously hurt. Bands were Hot tho!!

This place seems to take a lot of hits in some reviews but when the spouse and I went to see Bob Mould there the place was just fine. Yes the beer is a bit pricey, but duh, its always that way at most mid level venues. The staff was friendly and it was an enjoyable evening.

Saw Blue Cheer in 2006 place was a dump

Went to see Louis the Child here. The venue is a little run down and in need of a renovation, but that didnt take away from the concert experience. Also it is a rather small venue so the performers stayed after to meet with fans, which was a huge bonus.

They have great bands, and this place has the potential to be amazing. Unfortunately the ownership sucks. I went to a show a couple months back (Baroness and Pallbearer) where it had been in the 90s all day, apparently the air conditioning was broken. That makes for a bad situation, but to make things worse, all the windows were closed and sealed off with plastic! It was well over 100 degrees inside that night and humid like a human sweat sauna. Baroness cut their set short. It was completely miserable. Ill never go back. I also have a feeling a lot of bands and tour promoters are going to start blacklisting this dump.

Bartenders moved fast, plenty of space to dance. My major gripe is that there is no designated smoking area and you cant re-enter after leaving!

I didn’t think it was that band. The band was great and the crowd was grooving. I’m underage so I didn’t get a drink other than water but the bartenders were very nice.

They wouldnt let my girlfriend in because she had an umbrella in her purse which they said could be used as a weapon. No big deal, we brought it back to the car. But then when I went to order a drink from the bar, they served us beer IN BOTTLES. I asked the bartender if he was in a fight, would he want an umbrella as a weapon, or a broken beer bottle. He laughed.

Good venue for rock and alternative shows. I saw Periphery perform live here in 2016 and it was a great time!

Good concert for cheap, cant comment on the alcohol as I didnt drink, but it was a very enjoyable show.

Great venue but they only let you buy one drink at a time at the bar

Saw Badfish there, was awesome time. Cool venue in a nice little town.

Beer is soo over priced they should be ashamed to even offer it.
