A friend recommended Jason at Par Exsalonce. I booked my appointment and was elated with the results!! I have very thick hair and also struggle at understanding what styles suit my face shape. Jason did a perfect job taking charge and the end result made me SO happy. I had dinner with my mother in law the same evening and before we left dinner she had already booked an appointment with Jason.

UPDATE: The manager of the salon called my wife this morning and conveyed her regret about what had happened - and took immediate steps to make it right. Its a great example of customer service and it restores my faith in this salon.PREVIOUS REVIEW: I am really disappointed to share this very negative review of a salon that I like very much. I have been getting my hair cut here for almost 10 years and Ashley and Maria have been excellent. But my wife went in last week to get her hair cut and Brenda simply botched the job. Her hair is sticking out in several places due to Brendas lack of skill.So, for the first time ever in her life, my wife went back in today to get triage done.My wife is nicer than I am. She gave Brenda a second chance to fix the mess she had made.But Brenda didnt apologize. Instead, she immediately began making excuses. No accountability. She blamed it on the way my wifes hair grows. Skilled stylists have always made my wifes hair look great.When my wife asked her why she had used a razor to cut her hair, she said, I didnt know.My wife just got back from the salon and, after 20 minutes in the chair, her hair looks as bad as it did before.And on a Saturday afternoon at 2:15 pm there was no manager present to discuss Brendas poor performance.My wife is 64 years old and Ive never seen her hair this poorly cut. She has had better results at Great Clips.

I came in for a gel manicure and gel pedicure. My nail technician was very friendly but did a horrible job painting my nails! She claimed it was how my hand was tilted under the gel lamp. Your hand is flat!!! Also, I have been getting gel for years and I have never had this issue. She wasnt great at cutting cuticles and I received no massage. Wouldnt recommend for the cost.

This is such an amazingly peaceful place. I get a massage every two weeks and always leave there feeling extremely relaxed. This location’s staff is full of super sweet people that only want to help you. Highly recommend this Day Spa!

If you want quality service,I highly recommend you get a facial by Paige and a deep tissue massage from Kaitlyn. The professionalism and skill of both these amazing women will leave you feeling like a million bucks!

If I could I would give it a negative star but Google requires me to give at least 1 star. Poor service, unprofessional & rude manager (Susie Gibson), incompetent & disappointing hairdresser (Brooke) & overall racial attitude & behavior. Went in to get my hair colored (highlighted with full color) with a picture for reference but Brooke applied a color completely different from what was requested or discussed in the consultation. When I reached out to Susie, the manager to share my concern, firstly it took forever to have her respond to me (almost a month) and then finally after getting a chance to converse with her, Susie outright refused to accept Brooke’s mistake, rather said that it would cost me $636 with a level 5 stylist to fix my hair which they had ruined in the first place. Additionally, Susie was extremely unprofessional and hung up the phone to my face. Save your money, time and dignity and visit another salon.

Love this place! Idk why I havent left a review sooner but they earned my review for sure. I love Brandy as my stylist, I went in with the goal to go blonde and on my second trip I surprised her and asked to go green. I regret nothing and it came out beautifully. I let her run wild with it and it was a blast, I fully trusted her to take care of my hair to her best ability in the entire process as well. I will most definitely go back if Im ever back in the area!!

Jessica is an amazing esthetician. Great personality and does a fabulous job on my eyebrows.

Totally wasted an hour of my weekend to come down here to get my daughters haircut. Made the appointment this afternoon booked online. when we got to the salon they told us the person that was supposed to cut her hair had already gone home for the day so they needed to cancel us and reschedule for another day…ummm no. They shouldn’t allow online same-day booking if their stylist aren’t going to be there.

I have lived around the country and traveled quite a bit, receiving many manicures along the way. For the last decade or so, I’ve only gotten shellac. I’ve received shellac manis from at least a couple dozen different techs in at least four different states, in several different salons and spas, many of them with an excellent craft. None, however, come close to the quality and care that Karen provides at Par Exsalonce in OP. I’ve never had a better mani and never had shellac manis that have lasted as well nor as long as the manis Ive gotten by Karen. On top of being a master of her craft, she is kind, funny, caring, patient, quickly builds rapport, curious and can chat about any topic. Someone you look forward to catching up with, like seeing a friend. She is absolute gem and has a loyal customer as long as she is in the business. Thank you, Karen!

I’ve been here numerous times and have always had a great experience, but I had to leave a review tonight because I had my first massage from Ayla, and WOW! It was the best massage I’d ever had. She is personable, kind, and listens to her clients’ needs and requests—a true pro! The sweet receptionist who took me back and got me ready was also awesome and set the tone for a wonderful experience!

Maria has been doing my hair for years. She is incredibly talented and balances honesty vs expectations. She will trust your vision and is very kind when advising against something, all in pursuit of hair health. Im blessed to have found her. And thank you for seeing me through my pink mohawk phase. Its growing back.

Ive been here twice now. 1st time was a facial... loved it. Recently, I booked the Spa Glow Massage... amazing!! Salt exfoliation and a massage. Love the relaxing foot soak beforehand. Their locker room area is fantastic. Change in there, use the restroom, full shower with multiple shower heads and steam, soaps provided, and nice lockers with locks. Every detail seemed well thought-out. I cant wait to go back. Shout-out to Julie! She was wonderful.

I had my hair done by Brianna and purchased all of the products she had recommended. the color completely disappeared within 2 weeks, upon calling to express my concern, i was told that they cant do anything for me and that a fashion color is super difficult to keep in my hair. I was not informed that the color would disappear completely at the time of my appointment, it was only after i had spent well over $300.00 that they decided to tell me, not to mention, the process severely burned the back of my scalp causing scabbing. I called again a few days later to speak with the manager Susan, she told me that she would speak with Brianna and call me back the next day, after a WEEK I called the salon to follow up since Susan never did. She told me that there is nothing they can do for me and I would have to spend even more of my money to fix this mess. I feel like I have been ripped off and taken advantage of. I will not be returning. All because the stylist did not inform me fully... what a giant disappointment and a waste of my time and money. DO NOT GO HERE

It’s been over a month since I got my haircut at this place. I really wanted to give them a chance as this was the third time coming there. All three sucked by the way but last was by far the worst. Paid over 80 dollars for a haircut that the hairstylist choose. I specifically showed her pictures of what I wanted but it didn’t matter. Know why? Well she goes “I just didnt think it would look good on your face” when she finished cutting my hair!!! Absolutely horrible. Told her I was glad my hair grows fast and able to figure it out but still, how horrible for you to choose for me when I requested what I wanted? Even if it’s the worst haircut it’s my hair.. you do what I ask and paying for. Now I hesitated to give a comment as I really wanted to give whatever haircut I got a chance but I have been struggling with anxiety and poor self image since then. My hair looks bad and it’s still unmanageable. Don’t fall for the “best hairstylist are higher level” or whatever that system is bc it is a scam. Think about it before coming here.

I have been a loyal par exsalonce customer for the last 5 years. I used to live in the North Kansas City and the parlor at zona rosa location was really good. The staff was great and really cared about the quality of services. the overland park location is not the same. They lack in the basic customer care sensibilities like smiling and asking about the service. I had a lot of services done there in the last 2 years and have been disappointed with most of them. My last service was for a hair appointment- root touch up with highlights. The touch up faded away in a week. I called and someone said that I can come and they will take a look at it but then when I went there they said that I will be charged for the full service again! They didn’t even care to give me a discounted price or anything and didn’t even apologize or acknowledge that the service wasn’t done properly. I’m not going back again.

The entire staff was VERY welcoming the moment I arrived. I was given a tour of locker room and met at door for the next part of soaking my feet. The atmosphere was pure bliss and I enjoyed the candles!I was greeted by Paige and she addressed all my questions perfectly and I felt very calm and pampered. I just love this place! Front desk is always friendly and Im always taken care of. Its so easy to book an appointment online with any of the skilled stylists, theyre all experienced and understand my hair.

I highly recommend the massages here. I had no idea it would be such a spa experience!

My salon beautician, Ashley does a beautiful job with my hair and communicate with me when I have questions. It is a little pricey but it is the only place that knows my allergies to certain ingredients and latex. I would go no place else because Ashley cares about my health and love to see me happy with progress she always does everytime I go to her. Thank you, Ashley!! 👍❤

I was sitting outside in my car (it was cold, don’t judge) and called to get on a wait list for any last minute cancellations for a facial. After being on hold for nearly 15min, I walked in to find 4-5 females at the front talking. No apology. No care for customer service failure. Got my answer within 2 min. Why couldn’t they just tell me on the phone? They didn’t care that I was sitting on hold while they chatted away. This place was amazing back in the day. I LOVED my girl who did facials, waxing, etc. But it’s gone downhill over the years. I always refer people here….. but no more.

I really enjoyed my facial and pedicure. I took off 1 star because the pedicure room seemed like an afterthought and storage room where they had space for manicure and pedicure services. While I did enjoy the pedicure chair, it was not the normal massage chair. It was low to the ground and I was asked to put my legs up in a manner that required a little flexibility. All I could think about was my mom and how glad I was she hadnt come with me due to her limited mobility. I did miss the back massage I usually have during my pedicure.

Had my hair color service with Laurynn the other day, my hair looks and feels amazing, I have long hair and after summer, I tried the K-18 treatment. I’m so glad we dis, it has made my hair so strong and soft, thank you Lauryn you always make me look amazing!!

Brooke did an incredible job with my hair! Shes my new go-to person whenever I need my hair done. My balayage was perfect, and she nailed my haircut.

The moment I walked in I felt taken care of; The front staff was extremely kind and helpful. It was my first massage and definitely wont be my last. My masseuse Tatiana was amazing!! She made me feel comfortable and calm the entire time. I recommend her to anyone who goes here! Her aromatherapy immediately calmed me; and she made sure I was completely taken care of after the appointment as well! The atmosphere was clean and calming. I loved it!

I adore Brooke! She is personable, funny, made me feel welcome and comfortable, and her creative vision is AMAZING! I gave her some samples of the color I wanted and she took it a step up (with consulting me)! From simple hair color and cut to vivid color and creative ideas- she is the stylist to go to! I cannot wait to go back!

Not curly-friendly! Called ahead of time to see if anyone had experience with curly/textured hair, specifically a dry curly cut. My stylist immediately combed through all my curls (huge red flag), cut it, and sprayed my hair with water before sending me on my way. Huge disappointment, especially for the price!

My mom took me for my first facial today with my sister. They were very nice when we arrived and the place looked amazing. However the facial for my mom was horrible. My mom has been waiting for weeks to come get her face exfoliated, she was very excited and couldn’t wait. All they did was massage her arms and hands and massaged her face a little bit. When she asked why they hadn’t exfoliated her skin they said they didn’t not have time. When she brought this to the attention of front desk they said nothing and didn’t offer a discount. They didn’t even say they were sorry. I would not recommend coming here.

Really nice place, very professional. Like most other salons, each stylist is different with different skill levels. You get what you pay for in hair care like everything else so I recommend pay up for your lovely locks. Haircuts are a bit pricey. $60 is just generally more than Ill pay for a 15 minute haircut/trim. Most other salons discount at in conjunction with other services.

Good behavior of the staffs. Excellent decor and ambiance. They were maintaining proper Covid guidelines and I felt absolutely safe. My hair cutter/specialist was very helpful and friendly. Gave some wonderful suggestions too. But, the price was very high as per the cutting. Its not that they are just changing my looks through the haircut, or making an unique cut; but it was highly over priced according to my perspective as per cutting is concerned. My hair was only made short with no excellent or unparallel cutting style. But I was charged 51$ .So, the haircut was not at all worthy for 51$. If you just need your hair short, this is not your place. I dont know about coloring/treatment/spa bcz I have not done those.

Britney has cut my hair twice and Ive loved it both times. This last time was a decent chop taking off about 6 inches. Still loving it a week later. Ill definitely be seeing her again. Thanks Britney!

I have never had someone give me a pedicure that made me want to come back specifically for that person. Carylon did the best pedicure Ive ever had! She was gentle (even with my rough feet!) and very attentive. She also seemed really passionate about what she does and it felt like she wanted my pedicure to be the best service she could give. I REALLY appreciated my time with her!

I’ve seen Sarai a few times for a massage and it is always amazing! She is really good at what she does. She got some huge knots out of my back and shoulders yesterday and I can feel a total difference in how my body feels today. 10/10 recommend!

Everyone was very friendly here, the place was clean and nice. Upon arriving I was offered tea, water or coffee... the tea was delicious! I came in with hair past my shoulders and wanted a pixie cut. APRIL listened and asked all the right questions to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. At no point did she try to talk me out of it or act scared to do it. She took her time during the consultation and the cut, and the end result was exactly what I asked for! She is a level 1 which means she is newer to the salon (and cheaper I think) but this is not for lack of talent! I live in Texas and am only here for a short time or I would be proud to have April as my regular stylist. I thought the price was extremely reasonable for the quality of service. I also got color which was also exactly how I wanted it. She truly gave me a great cut- Ive only had it for 1 day and am already having so much fun with it! Thanks April!!!

Terrible experience. Management did not believe me when I brought a concern forward judiciously. They cared more about $20 then keeping a customer who has unfortunately spent thousands of dollars at this salon and been going there for years. Kept repeating “have a nice day.” Ugh, shivers. The worst kind of treatment.Updated to add: the management reached out to express regret and they’d work to ensure that communicating to their customers that they are trusted and valued is prioritized. I was disappointed but appreciative of the concern. I will give the salon another chance as I do love their stylists.

Such a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Susan, (or Suze as I like to call her) the salon manager is about one of the most positive spirits I have ever met and the entire staff is super polite and genuine. Jason is the best stylist Ive ever had. Ive been going to him for over two years. I dont think Ive had a bad hair day since....truly. I hate fixing my hair, and he always cuts it in a way thats easy, for even me, to do each day.

My appointment was cancelled because of an error on the salons behalf. Someone took my phone number down incorrectly (Lyn?) last Thursday, and during the confirmation calls on Monday they canceled my Tuesday [aug 2 at 1:00] appointment. My first question is what software system are you using to book appointments and capture client information?I walked in, my time scheduled off and my roots needing help, for my 1:00 balayage with Alyssa, and surprise, I dont have an appointment.Holly came from the office, explained the situation, and I understand mistakes happen...but I was a referral and a new client to your team. This is your first impression.Capturing phone and email addresses correctly should be a baseline. Explaining it cant be rectified because its your busy season is hurtful to me, quite disrespectful of my time and money. An offer of 15 percent off is nearly condescending.Ive never experienced this level of unprofessionalism from aveda, nor been in this situation from a salon, period. Ive had my hair done professionally for nearly 20 years.

Gave an extra star because expectations were probably too high after waiting a couple years to re-beautify.Im a long-time client pre-COVID and have always had a great time at this location. My stylist moved away, and the lady I was assigned was nice to me but rude to the receptionists. She was also almost half an hour late. I had pictures of what I wanted, but I think she went with what was easiest for her.Massage-wise, I would recommend The Elms in Excelsior Springs over anywhere else. Its worth the travel time and about the same price, but they never rush you to get to the next client.Overall, there was a sense of extreme stress and forced cheerfulness as it was very busy (which Im sure Fridays always are -- error in judgment on my part for booking near the weekend).I wont go back, but they definitely DO have a lot of my money from this visit! And theyre hoppin busy so they wont miss me much, either.

A beautiful space that I would love to explore more. I went for a haircut with Kelsey, and she was fantastic. She listened to what we had to say. When I wasnt sure what I wanted, she had very stylish and professional suggestions, in detail, and both my daughter and I left loving the results and knowing we will be going there again.

We checked in and upon arriving in the locker rooms we were sorely disappointed. The robes were thin and ratty. We had to hunt someone down to find shoes that would fit. After my facial I arrived at the relaxation room and sat there for a couple of minutes and waited for my mom to come out. THEY DIDNT EVEN DO THE ONE THING I ASK, I wanted a facial scrub and they said they ran out of time. When my mom finally arrived she didn’t even get to relax and soak for her feet because they said that they had other people that were coming in. My mom did not get to relax before or after the facial. I do not recommend coming to this facility.

Great staff, clean shop... just overpriced. I have been a faithful client for several years with the same stylist, Jason. However recently my Mens style cut and shampoo is about $50.00 before Jasons tips. I can simply no longer justify spending $50+ every 4 weeks. Cost is subjective I know, but in my case I dont see it competitive. I now go to Sole Patch Mens Shop and for $30.00 receive identical services. I have always had great service from Jason and highly recommend him.

This was my first time at this salon. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I felt so pampered from the moment I walked in the salon. Alyssa was my stylist and she is so knowledgeable and friendly. She talked me through the entire process and gave her expert opinion while respecting my wishes. I will definitely recommend and return!

Love my stylist, I have never had a bad experience with her! If you can get in ask for Cristin. She takes the time to get to know you and isn’t afraid to tell you if Something is a bad idea! Love love love her and the salon is pretty awesome as well.

People kept walking in and out of the quiet area prior to your service where you soak your feet. Someone even washed their hands in the sink in this room. Not very relaxing. My masseuse did a decent job. Not the trigger point therapy I came in for or stated I needed on the questionnaire. For the price I wouldnt return. If you like a gentle massage then youll love it. Also there was a fan blowing on my feet and legs the entire massage. My feet were like icicles! I did love the smell in the spa, the ocean sounds, and the low light flickering candles.

Had such a great experience here. The staff were so very professional and friendly and were able to get my mom and I in the same day we called for a 1 hour facial! The spa area is Top Notch, so relaxing and great services. Will definitely be back. I am still wowd by my 1 hour facial I had with Megan! Cannot wait to come back!

Excellent service. Very clean and classy place. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Mary did an amazing job on my hair. I have curly hair and its been a battle in the past finding someone who knows how to cut curly hair correctly. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

I had a facial done today by Morgan and she is amazing!! She took her time and was very sweet! Will be coming back!!

I came in for a massage and facial. Relaxing room is very relaxing to get you ready for your massage. Rachel is great and gave a very relaxing and wonderful massage. I got my facial from Lindsey and it was great as well except it was only about 45 minutes instead of the 60 minutes I paid for. Ill be back but Ill make sure my hour is truly an hour.

So good! They cultivate a lot of feelings of relaxation. From the moment I walked into the back, to the moment I left, I felt so much more relaxed. I had a massage from Rachel. She was excellent. They let you chose from one of three scents during your massage. The hot stone add on is totally worth it! My facialist was also excellent. The manicure area is not at all like your typical nail salon. Its a semi-private room with very comfortable chairs. Its a lovely place with a beautiful atmosphere.

I have been seeing Firoozeh for 3 years now for my eyebrows and as long as I am living in KC I will not be seeing anyone else! She is incredibly professional, personable, and GREAT at doing brows. When I first went to her my brows were in rough shape, but after putting the tweezers down and only letting her touch my brows they have never looked better. As she would say, you have model eyebrows now :)When the pandemic hit I took a break from going in for a bout 4 months (when I was previously on a pretty strict 5 week appointment schedule). My brows were incredibly overgrown, but who cared because I wasnt going anywhere anyways. When things started lifting I decided it was time to get back into waxing I made my appointment with Firoozeh. Making my appointment was as easy as ever, and the in person appointment could not have been smoother. Masks were required, waivers were signed, temperatures were checked, social distance was maintained (except when she was doing my brows of course) and upon completion of the appointment everything was changed out and sanitized. If you are hesitant about going back to the salon dont hesitate to go to Par Exsalonce, and especially dont hesitate to book your wax with Firoozeh!

Im a new customer recommended by a friend. Lena was absolutely wonderful. She listened to what I would e and then offered suggestions to achieve what I wanted. I love how my hair turned out. I highly recommend her. Thank you!

My hair was badly faded and in need of color i went to par exsalonce and i am still thoroughly impressed! Sad to say but my hair hasnt look so healthy and soft in way to long. Kittie did an amazeing job! Every single person who works there are very friendly and helpful and the services are a good price as well. Kittie was so nice and sweet! She was such a pleasure to talk to. And several other stylists were very personable and friendly. I will be going back and i highly recomend going to this place!

Sarai gave me a stress reliever massage. I have been in many car accidents and my shoulders, neck, head are so tight at times. She worked on those areas more and I was actually able to touch my ear to my shoulder when I left. She also gave me exercises to do at home

Update: Went back to this salon to get my hair changed to a brown/red Balayge. When i set up the appointment i put it all my hair notes, what it is now, what its been done before and what i wanted and new it was going to take long and wanted them to know that, i get there, she sits me down and says she doesnt have time to do what i want.... she says we can get it started tho do as much as we can and i say sure. EXCEPT. she just put colored high lights randomly in my hair.... and to top it off, i still had to pay full price for a balayage and a half service.. i get we still spent the time and all, but full price? for not even the same service .....these people dont care bout you, they just want your money and get you done and out. OH and didnt even ask or plan to reschedule me to get the rest done or anything.

Finished a crazy busy week with one of the best 90-minute pedicures ever from April! My spoiled and happy feet are so grateful for the amazing service she provided. Looking forward to my next appointment.

This is the second time I went for a haircut in this location. The service was good and the responses I had for my questions were answered in a courteous manner. Hannah was my stylist and she was great. She asked what I wanted done with my hair and gave inputs. The outcome was good and I would definitely go back again.

A.C. did an amazing job and completely corrected my hair color. She offered me a variety of options and was great to work with! Hands down a great experience and I’m really happy with the results.

This is probably the best salon in Kansas City. Bria, hope I spelled her name right, was amazing!! Knew exactly what I wanted. They give new customers 20 dollars off their first cut. Got handed cucumber water the second I arrived. Classy place!!

Today is my birthday so I made the last minute decision this morning to try out a day spa for the first time since moving the KC. Knowing it was last minute I attempted to make appointments for tomorrow (27th) at the Zona Rosa location (as that’s closest to home) and make a day of it. Planning for both a nice long massage and a facial. Tune in to this afternoon when I get a scathing, far from professional, voicemail from a woman at the Overland Park salon. I apparently missed my appointment today (26). She stated in addition that she could see that I also had an appointment in Zona Rosa for the following day (27) and that she would go ahead and cancel that for me since I didn’t bother to show up today. All without ever speaking to me. Why someone would schedule 2 services, on two consecutive days, at 2 different locations is beyond me. Very clearly a mistake. The nasty, unprofessional voicemail I received was unnecessary but thank you so much for showing me what kind of unprofessional establishment you are before I completed my business.

STAY AWAY!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I went in to have my hair colored brown here and it came out black and maroon!!! Went back the next day because they said that they would fix it and it wasnt any different!! Plus, they charged me $97 to fix THEIR mistake. And after 7 hours and $97, my hair is still black and maroon. RUN!!! Never get your hair done here. Management does not care about customer happiness or taking responsibility. I have lived in Kansas City for 20 years and this is the worst place and the worst customer service I have EVER experienced.

I have been spoiled by Par Exsalonce. Ive had a few massages and pedicures and it is truly the best place in town. Very reasonable prices for what you get. My boss gave me a surprise day off today so I naturally tried to get a massage appointment, sadly they were booked and I went to a different salon. Big mistake, next time I will wait for an opening at Par Exsalonce. From the relaxation room before, to the steam shower after, its all good. They have cute jewelry too!

I have gone to see Lena for hair styling and color for about two years now. She is a great stylist and while I am no expert, I think she is one of the best at hair color that Ive had over my many (30?) yers of having my hair colored. Thanks Lena, for all you do!

I went here to get a consult on my hair, the lady cut off chunks in 2 separate places to do test strands, its been 3 weeks and no message back so now my hair for no reason just has 2 spots of missing chunks and no results to show for it, just incase you all also go in for a consult. Becareful

I had my wedding hair done here and I could not be more disappointed.. The hair stylist appointed to me had seemed to have no idea how to do updos - she spent my whole appointment time doing my hair, taking it apart and redoing it. She hardly teased my hair or put any product to hold it, and get this - when she used the bobby pins she first tucked them into her mouth (to open) and then into my hair - very unprofessional! Yuck! The end result was awful and truth be told I couldve easily done so much better myself. When I expressed my frustration and discontent, she got really sour face and attitude and basically just gave up on me. I really cant believe that the salon appointed someone like her to do my hair when they knew it was my wedding day. My time was running out and I got really nervous and teary because she spent all this time and couldnt finish a simple hairdo. I was ready to leave and do it myself at the hotel when a second hair stylist stepped in to gave it a try. The second hairstylist did an okay job in the short time frame that she had.. She did a proper base for the updo (teasing + product) and the hairdo lasted for the whole day and I appreciated that a lot. I was 70% content with my new hairdo but could not be completely satisfied when I left because this new hairdo was still nothing like the picture I showed before she started. Also I was 1h30mins late from my original schedule.When I emaild the salon to tell them abvout my experience, they did not reply or appologise, but simply deleted me from their mailing list. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE!

Dana has cut and styled my hair for years. She always does a great job and really understands short hairstyles. The salon is nice and always smells just like an Aveda salon should. Yummy!

Absolutley love this place!!!!! The amazing brandi did my hair and her personialty was awesome and welcoming she did a balyage babylights on my hair and im so obsessed! Im alway nervous to get my hair colored caus so many places have ruined my hair but never going anywhere else again this place is the best and the people are awesome and so nice and fun!! My hair turned out just perfect and how i wanted it!!

Aveda salons are my first choice for years now. Ive only been to this salon once and I will say that the stylist I had was outstanding. The reason for the two stars relates to my checkout experience at the front counter. I have been going to Aveda salons for over 12 years now. Some years ago the one I was going to changed their tipping policy to not accepting gratuities with a sign posted saying we do not accept gratuities, it is our pleasure to serve you. That salon was in Manhattan, Kansas and it finally became impractical for me to make the 2 hour drive out and back, so after their recommendation I started going to a salon in this area. They also had a similar sign regarding gratuities so I simply assumed it was a policy Aveda had adopted. With that backstory I get to my experience at Par Exsalonce. When I went to check out I was asked if the total for my credit card was correct. I thought the woman was verifying because I had added product on with my service. I confirmed yes it was. I thought it was strange to be asked so once the transaction was completed I said Im curious why you asked. She said because she thought I would want to add a gratuity. I was surprised to say the least and said I had no idea they excepted gratuities and she very rudely informed me that of course they did because they were a service industry. I tried to explain that my experience at other Aveda salons was that they did not accept gratuities and I thought it was Aveda policy. In front of other customers she said she had never heard of anything like that at any salons. She was in no way gracious about explaining, quite the contrary she had an attitude of dressing me down in front of others. It made me sad that I had just had a great experience with the stylist but it put a pit in my stomach every time I thought of going back there. So I go to another salon where it is their pleasure to serve and my new stylist gave me the best haircut Ive had in many years! Also the things that other Aveda salons do as an enhancement to your experience such as hand massage, touching up your makeup before you leave, etc. are all offered at Par Exsalonce for a price.

If I were able, Id give zero stars. Went here for a hair coloring and left with a color I didnt ask for, that completely faded in less than a week. When I called the salon to see what they could do to help fix the problem they were less than helpful, condescending and rude.

I wish I could tell you what kind of job they did. I scheduled a pedicure online and received confirmation via email. When I arrived, I was told that someone has called and cancelled my appointment which didnt happen. I had scheduled it for my 60th birthday as a gift to myself.

I was scheduled a appointment for facial, which was Aveda Elemental nature(30mins). But I got the massage service instead which I was disappointed to find out. The massage service was fine, but the communication of setting the correct appointment was very poor. The employee at the front desk (male)who was in service at 1:58 PM on 3/8/18 at the College blvd Aveda location was not very communicative and cooperative which I found upsetting.

My wife and I treated ourselves to 90 minute stress relieving massages... Wonderful! Great staff interaction throughout, and our 2 massage professionals were perfect!

Wish I could rate this place less than 1 Star. Made an appointment and drove across town after working all night for the stylist to tell me she didn’t have time to do my hair and that it is going to be “very expensive.” I can assure you that I can afford getting my hair done, but thanks for wasting my time and implying that I cannot.

I absolutely love this salon! I used them for my wedding and everything was perfect. A year later me and my maid of honor still return here for our hair cuts and other services!

I first set up a consultation with Tana to make sure not drastic change was suitable for me. She was honest and pointed out the pros&cons of going short. Huge change and Im looking it!

I have been going to Par Exsalonce for more years than my stylist, Angi, and I care to admit. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and Angi is quite the color guru.

Very pleasant staff. Unfortunately I went in to have my hair transistioned from a med strawberry blonde back to a golden blonde, showed pictures and left with brown hair $200 later. The color is beautiful, but not at all what I asked for.

Shittt I scheduled a day spa for my wife on her birthday witch was a Sunday I was first called back and told they cant do her BLOWOUT unless they shorten her facial *no discout* then day of spa 15 min before her schedule time her pedicure and manicure would not be able to be done there lady called out sick again *no discount* I waisted half a day and planned hole thing out not happy at all
