Bought a gift card. Enjoyed the first massage. Signed up for membership. Second massage was horrible. Have another 90 min credit but out the acct on hold cause not sure what I want to do. Will most likely cancel because I need a more experienced massage therapy session and not beginners

DONT GET SCAMMED INTO THE MEMBERSHIP.Honestly the ambiance and masseuses are great 5/5! Kim is especially very intuitive and amazing.Where it gets to be 2/5 stars is how they strongly push you to get a membership, then make it SO complicated to cancel/use the rest of your vouchers. I signed up for a membership then ended up cancelling after a few months, because I wasn’t able to use them regularly. I ended up with about 4, 1-hr credits. The terms of the membership termination were very confusing over the phone and they provided multiple options- I ended up going with the option to just have “gift card vouchers” for my unused massages.It was not explained to me at that time that I would have to pay an additional $20 per voucher (even though I already paid for my massages?!) AND that apparently I can’t even use them myself!! This is the most confusing part for me that I cannot understand. I found all this out after trying to use a voucher post massage, which was very confusing and embarrassing. So now I am stuck with 3 vouchers that I can’t even personally use, that I can give to people who have never been before/used a voucher there in the last 6 months, who have to pay an additional $20 per voucher. Simple right? I will say that the manager there was super nice and VERY apologetic to my situation. She was empathetic and tried to find the best solution, but could only do so much after talking to the owners. I also know that this is a giant corporation and they probably have to follow corporate rules, so it may even be out of the owners hands to a degree. I was just frustrated that the implications of my cancellation were not fully explained to me over the phone when I agreed to it. I think there might have been a slight communication barrier as well with whoever I had talked to. Ultimately, they sent me the pages of fine print that I signed and agreed to, so it’s on me. But I would have never agreed to this headache had I known. Save yourself the hassle and don’t sign up for the membership.I have probably heard this same issue from 5-10 other people about massageluxe chain, including multiple people sitting at checkout desk confused about using vouchers whenever I go in.

I have been going to MassageLuXe since they opened and always have great experiences. They are very professional and always on time. Venessa is the best for deep tissue and I would highly recommend her. They run specials at different times throughout the year but prices are always reasonable.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!This company not professional at all, I had a membership with this place for two months l called last week to schedule an appointment and freeze my membership because I am going out of town for couple months, the front desk after I arrived today for my appointment she told me we can’t give you hour left in ur credit because you have to renew ur membership first, the most important part is they treated me in unprofessional way after I drove to there and wasted my time and I have one hr left, she telling me we can’t give u the session, like she gave me the feeling they never care about there customer’s they care only about how to take from you the money.UNPROFESSIONAL NOT RECOMMENDED!!!GOODBYE!!!

I am exhausted with this organization, the unprofessional behavior of their employees and the disorganization of those who run it. I have yet to have a positive experience with any of their locations and am wondering if Im a fool for continuing to give them a chance with my money.

Got there a few minutes before my appointment, waited for the therapist, she was a few minutes late. Then my massage needed almost 10 minutes early. So I paid for a 60 minute massage and got 45 minutes.

Had an amazing facial today with Anna! She did amazing. Felt like a million bucks walking out. Signed up for the membership and going back in a month. Absolutely worth it.

I had facial message with lady name crissie today and I had best experience with her ever.She is very knowledgeable and professional.She taught me how to take care of my rosecia and what is the best treatment for it ..I strongly recommend her.She is the best ever !!!!

Michele was absolutely incredible. She was very attentive and listened to my areas that I wanted her to focus on. Just PHENOMENAL.

Not a great experience for me with the facial , I heard it from my friend and they did good for her but for me it is a no go for facial, I did take a membership so will see how it goes with the massage

I dont like leaving negative reviews but I will give the good and the bad.I made an appointment for a 60 min massage at 2pm. They made a very big pint to come in early. I showed up 20 minutes early and they let me use the hydrolux massage bed. Which was ok. They took me to their waiting room.At 2:15 I was still waiting and my appointment was behind.I had an appointment set, to be at my chiropractor, at 4p which was 30 min away. I know it would have taken another 15-20min for my actual massage to start after cleaning the room and finally getting started. I rescheduled my appointment for Saturday at 1p which was on schedule.My actual massage started at 1:10 and at 1:45, I was told the massage was over.I dont like to talk badly about anyone because I know these are peoples lively hoods, but this was one of the worst, good massages I have had.She asked me when we started what areas I wanted to focus on, I had to tell her twice. My shoulder and my back. I have a herniated disk and in a lot of back pain and very bad tension pain in my shoulder.The first and best part of the massage was when she was able to relieve the pain in my shoulder, almost immediately but only worked on it for about 5 min then moved into my next arm. Each leg and arm was not a consistent massage and only had attention for around 4 min each. BTW this was for a deep tissue. The only area where the deep tissue was applied was for the one shoulder. Everything else was just a rub.She rubbed my head for 15 minutes and another 5-8min for my neck and shoulders and was yawning during that time. I know the time-frames because there is a clock in the room.Also, the part that was disgusting, was leaving their facility feeling like a greased pig. I have received many massages before. I have never experienced one like this.I left so oily and greasy. I rubbed as much off as I could before I left. I had to go to the store after my appointment and I could still feel it in between my toes.Also, the oil did not smell good. It smelled like oily playdough.I am thankful that she helped with my shoulder pain but super disappointed that I didnt get a decent massage.I have been in so much back pain and was highly looking forward to some relief.I wouldnt recommend to my friends or family based on my experience. Im sure there are other good massage therapists there. Maybe she was having an off day.

Literally the best facial I had in my entire life today!! Im not a medical facial type of girl, I love the facial massage and relaxation. And boy this girl made it happen!! Great experience, Im glowing! My face looks like $100,000,000 😂🤣❤️ but for real. I sneak in a pic

I was very happy with my message but I was disappointed by the attitude of one of the front desk personnel. I felt very uncomfortable with her condescending comments and it wasn’t until another employee spoke up on my behalf that she charged me accordingly. She showed no concern for the mistake and I left feeling disappointed in the business. Before this encounter I was going to sign up for a membership but I will now be going somewhere else.

UPDATE: MY WIFE HAS CANCELLED HER ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY, AND THEY CHARGED US YET AGAIN. WE HAVE GONE THROUGH THIS MORE THAN ONCE. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.My wife had a monthly fee arrangement here - pay a flat fee, get a certain number of massages per month. She decided it was not for her, and so she cancelled. No big deal.8 months later, Im checking through our credit card statement, and it turns out they are still charging the fee, and have been for the last 8 months.They refused to refund the amount. I have no idea if this place gives good massages or not. I do know that I wouldnt leave a credit card on file there.

Had my first deep tissue massage ever and it was amazing!! Extremely relaxing and professional. I worked with Mollie, and she was hands down the best masseuse Ive ever worked with. Her work on my upper back/shoulders was amazing and her knowledge not only improved the experience but also made me feel more comfortable that I could trust that she knew exactly what she was doing to alleviate my tension. 11/10 would recommend working with her and I will definitely be back! Thank you =)

This place is scum. I not very good in English, they use it and I sign paper. They charge me every mouth 75$ .No one chould go. I already tell all my friends

Very conflicted on how many stars to give. Husband got me a hot stone massage that was good, but not as great as the last time. He got a Swedish massage that was absolutely horrible. She didnt focus on any of the areas he asked, she cut the massage 15 mins short of an hour. I went in 5 mins before my husband and he came out 10 mins before me.. His masseuse was doing some kind of slap on his back which was very odd and NOT therapeutic whatsoever. Never before have we had a masseuse try that or not follow directions. Weve been once before back in March and that visit was great but this time was an absolute disappointment and a huge waste of time and money. They are way overpriced for what you get. Their entire scheme is to try to sell you on monthly memberships. I dont appreciate the pressure sales pitch after I just got done with a massage and my kind should be in the state of relaxation. If youre looking to spend that kind of money for a massage I could recommend several other places that would be well worth your time over this place.

I had to book several months out to get an appointment. I had a gift certificate that I explained over the phone and they said they would accept no problem. Once I arrived to my appointment, they told me that I would have to pay extra because it was a holiday weekend. Nobody explained that to me over the phone when I made the appointment, otherwise I would have chosen a different weekend. Then, I made another appointment using another girt card. Again, I explained it on the phone and to the man working the front desk prior to beginning my massage. Then, once I finished my massage he told me that he could not accept my gift card because I had already used one before. He did not tell me this prior to receiving the massage so I had no choice. Very poor communication and I am quite unimpressed. If I did not have gift cards, I would not have gone there. I will not be going back. I would like my money back.

I had a Swedish Massage today at Massageluxe Leawood location. Mariah is a really good therapist . I’m so happy with her services. I was comfortable and she really did what I needed . Hope to come to this place again to get my massage done by Mariah 👍🏻.

I had an amazingly relaxing deep tissue massage from Sarah. It was definitely the best Ive had so far. I was able to easily pause my membership for vacation too.

Oscar is the best therapist Ive encountered. Owner was eager to talk over me, it could be a cultural thing, but Americans do it as well, which makes it more rude. Life goes onI signed up for a membership and so should you. The facility is fresh and new. The design is thoughtful and functional with good parking.

The therapist Susane might be best in the Overland Park area. Her bodywork left me feeling renewed and relaxed.

This visit was my first as it was a gift from my wife. I was disappointed with the room and the service. The room was TOO hot, combined with heated table, it was uncomfortable. When I asked for a towel to cover me during the massage instead of a heavy blanket, I was told they dont have towels - what kind of massage establishment doesnt have a towel! The massage itself was acceptable but compared to the two other therapists I regularly visit was lacking. The 90 minute massage was about 80 minutes because of the 10+ minutes spent filling out paperwork . The people were nice but I wont be returning..

I was early, as requested so that I could fill out paperwork. I was done by the time my 11am appointment rolled around, but wasnt escorted to the room until about 10 after, so we didnt even get started until at least a quarter after (supposed to be a 1.5 hour massage). Massage was okay, but nothing special. She didnt listen to my problem areas and when she used my name, twice, it was the wrong name both times. Just from a customer service standpoint it was disappointing. For what I paid you should at least get my name right, lol. Wont be returning...I get better massages at a different chain for much less.

I have been to lots off Message places in my life time I have never been to a place to tell you you are 10 minutes late so we are going to take 30 minutes from your time. First off all there front desk people did not even kown about the business I think they have a lots off turn over because the business is fraudulent. If they get to know me I stead off trying to scam people I would have been a long time customer instead I am going to tell everyone I know not to have any kind off service in this stablishment.

Went for a massage from a Black Friday deal. It was great! the fancy cute waiting room and the ipad check in was a breeze. I especially loved the hydro massage bed after the massage. Staff was super friendly and answered any questions. Already booked the next appt!

I have received absolutely wonderful care here at massage luxe. My massage therapist, Rumi, has always been so pleasant and professional. She has tended to problem areas paying special attention to muscle changes when noticed. I learned quite a bit on how to treat my back pain and prevent further injury while being cared for during my appointments, I would definitely recommend Rumi at Massage Luxe for these reasons!

I’ve been coming to Massage Luxe for about 2 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Every esthetician and masseuse have been a wonderful, relaxing experience and the front staff is always warm and kind. Special shout-out to Heather who takes such good care of the clients and their needs. She always makes sure to communicate my wants/needs and is highly diligent in taking care of clients. I recommend Massage Luxe to all my friends and love my time I’ve spent here!

Love this place! Had my first massage today. The staff was prompt and friendly. The therapist did an amazing job and made my muscles feel like butter. Relaxing, professional atmosphere.

I was promised Michael, but ended up with someone else without so much as a word. I needed deep tissue but the therapist was not really a qualified deep tissue therapist, although she did her best. They did have an enclave for refreshments, which was a nice touch.

Staff is highly un-knowledgable and passed wronged information to customer. When I cancelled my membership, staff explained me that my left over hours should be good for next 60 days but when I tried to use it... hours was already expired.Massage Luxe: Overland Park South location.Should trained the staff

The therapist are top notch. I always feel amazing when I leave. But their customer service and office staff need some work. The owner is not a pleasant person.

I was really excited about the girls day that my family had planned here. There were 7 of us girls and we all were getting 1 hour massages for a Christmas present. There are several things that I wasnt pleased with that i will list next: 1. I asked that the massage therapist concentrate a lot on my head, neck and feet. My feet were rubbed for approximately 5 minutes but my head and neck never touched. 2. I paid for a one hour massage. From the time the massage therapist walked in and the. Completed by massage it was 41 minutes. If I paid for an hour massage I expect an hour massage. Even if you include the time I got undressed, it took me less than 2 minutes and I waited 10 for him to come back in the room.Overall I would not reccomend this place. I wasnt the only one in our group disappinted.

She irritated my skin my face was horrible and i got bug bites all over my back neck arms i wont be going back it was a mothers day gift from my son ,it felt so bad plus Im in disbelief. 😭😭😭
