My husband and I went to the salt spa and it was cool! We started with the salt room. I loved the vibe and the room was very relaxing. I enjoyed the “stars” on the wall and I actually felt relaxed! We then did the salt tank. I am handicapped so I cannot lift my legs. If you did not have a strong husband or caregiver I don’t personally think you’d be able to get into the tank. The tank was pretty cool and we really did float! We didn’t stay in the whole time but that was probably good because getting out for me was pretty difficult. Next time we would just stick to the salt room but the tank was fun to experience. Both of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. The whole place was VERY clean and organized. I enjoyed the whole thing and think you should take a chance on this place!
Nice, private flotation experience. Clean facility. Friendly staff explained the whole process well. Water was the perfect temperature and was able to have a total blackout of light. As close to total sensory deprivation as I have ever been. The salt water was silky smooth and enabled me to totally relax. The salty air in the beach room was interesting … I could sense the air had salt in it although I couldn’t tell if it was helpful to me or not. I’m guessing multiple sessions may be required. 🤷🏻♂️I definitely recommend the float and will return.
Spa is very welcoming and clean! The second you walk in you can smell the salt in the air just waiting to cleanse your skin! This was my first time going into a sensory deprivation (float) tank!Diana was extremely friendly and accommodating and covered everything I needed to know before my husband and I hopped into the tank. The water was warm, at body temperature and was a extremely relaxing experience! There was a few times where my mind drifted off and when I came too I felt even more relaxed.I must say, I will be coming back, this is my new favorite zen happy place!
I have tried a couple float therapy locations in the KC area, and this was my worst experience. I will say the gentleman working there was very kind and did a great job explaining the process, but the facility itself was not ideal. There building is just in disrepair a bit with rust and lime build up in the shower area. It was never mentioned that there were robes available for use in the changing room, so I ended up changing in the float area, where much of the floor was wet. I discovered a few sad looking, stained robes hanging on the back of the door only after I entered the changing room at the end of my float to put my contacts back in. There was dust, marked walls, and trash cans with no liners throughout the float room and the changing room. The float itself was nice, but lacked the relaxing experience I have gotten elsewhere.
This was such a unique and amazing experience! I stumbled across a couples deal around Christmas and purchased for my husband and I.We did a 30 minute halo dry salt therapy session where we sat in comfortable lounge chairs while a fine mist of salt was pumped into the room. I actually fell asleep!Following that, we were lead to the room for our float. We did an hour long float and let me tell you, it was a bit of a trip. We had a great instruction prior to getting into the tank. While it took both of us a bit to truly let go and relax, by the time the music and lights came back on, we were surprised (and a little sad) that it was over. The facility was very nicely set up with the shower setup in the same room as the tank so you could do your shower prior to getting in and then immediately after getting out. They also had a nice changing room complete with hair dryer and other amenities that you might need to get back to your day.We will definitely go again and plan on purchasing the experience for friends and family!
Before we did this I was optimistically sceptical if there can be such a thing. But our experience was pleasant. We arrived a bit early and the lady in the front allowed us to use the salt therapy room until the tank was ready. That room is a bit underwhelming, but it was relaxing. The tank itself seemed small before we got in, but it was great. It was an experience that I would repeat. We purchased it through Groupon to save money, I recommend this. They have a nice shower and separate room to get ready with the amenities for your hair and skin. I would say bring your own personal bag of hair stuff as you need to take a full shower. This is an experience you should try at least once.
The float was wonderful. It was my first time in a salt therapy room. I have some respiratory issues and just wanna treatment really made a difference.
I have chronic allergies. Then I have allergy induced asthma. I have had sinus surgery, allergy shots, meds, acupuncture, use a nettie pot, altered diets you name it. This year has been the first year that I have really used my inhaler. I was actually wheezing a bit going in. (This is not medical advice just what I experienced). The weather going back and forth this year hasnt helped either. I went here hopeful but not expecting much to happen. My right side of my head is always full of fluid.I was the only one in the room. Not sure if that is normal. They have you pick your seat then give you a bottle of water, give you a heating pad for your back and one for around your neck. Even with my sweatshirt and a Tshirt underneath, it felt amazing! The lady asked if I wanted the lights dimmed or off. I went with a dimmed version for my first time since I wasnt sure what to expect. Next time I will probably pick off. They play music the whole time which is a combination of wave sounds and relaxing meditation music. I used to meditate but havent in years. I focused on my breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth. When I started my nose was really closed up. I kept at it. Slowly stuff start to break and I felt relief. The more relief from pressure the deeper I went into meditation to the point I fell asleep. I startled myself awake which is when I took the picture. I was so relaxed. I havent felt that in a long time. And in less than 30 minutes! Now this may bother some but it didnt me. As the salt is pushed out into the room there is the sound of the pump. I sat right next to it wanting to get full benefits of the salt air. The music generally covers that noise up though. Obviously it didnt bother me since I fell asleep. I was so out of it that when they came to get me I sat for a minute to gather my wits, then in the lobby I stood for a minute, then sat in my car for a second. For me, I think my body just was so happy to have relief.I am writing this the day after. I surprisingly am breathing through my nose and not my mouth. My right side was completely blocked when i went in. Although it isnt perfect, it is much better than when I went in. I also am not wheezing. I didnt sign up for membership yesterday because I was out if it and didnt want to make a decision until I had my wits about me, but now that I do, I will be back. Also, the lady did tell me afterwards that the hydrotherapy coupled with the float in one session reaps the biggest benefit and that they recommend going 2 times a week for hydrotherapy. She wasnt pushing me to be a member at all. That was me asking. All in all great experience. I had been on the fence for a while about going and if it was going to be worth it. I definitely think it is.
Such a great experience! Martina was the very best massage therapist Ive ever had and the float experience is not to be missed. Treat yourself or a loved one to such a unique, relaxing, and healthy experience!
Lady that assisted us informative but curt. Had a lot of nice extras: ear plugs, head floater, warm towels. Salt room salt maker was loud and a little distracting from relaxing. Good shower.Couples Salt float was an amazing experience; very Zen.
Facility: clean, staff helpful, had lots of toiletries availableExperience: no thanks. It was like taking a warm bath in a closet in Florida in July. I found it hard to breathe, I kept bumping my foot and elbow (Im only 54 so was not expecting this), it gave my a headache, and I couldnt even daydream (which I excel at in general). I love nothing more than the water, but this was absolutely BORING. When the water lights turned on to indicate it was ending, the water glowed like the bioluminescent bay in PR, that was probably the best part for me; wish Id have played in that for the 45min.Anyway, if youre into it, its probably a fine place to go?
Mixed feelings on this one. The extra salt in my hair was difficult to get out. The younger worker wasnt as friendly, it could have been because we couldnt tell if our time was up.Im still wondering how the water gets cleaned.I will try again. Overall it was relaxing. I wish I had known about the jets
My husband and I went here for the first time yesterday for float therapy. Absolutely great experience. Private room with the float tank and shower where you can get undressed and dressed. Then there is a separate room with a blow dryer etc. You shower before and after the float. Ear plugs and head float rings are provided. ( we used the float rings until we were comfortable) you can float with your spouse the float tank is 20% bigger than a king sized bed. The woman at the front desk was very nice and so helpful. We will be returning! Also make sure to take advantage of the first time floating deal online when you book.I dont know why I didnt think of it before I went but make sure you drink lots of water before and after because you can get dehydrated.
I just finished my first ever float therapy session and I am hooked. This establishment was everything I could have hoped for and more. They take care to provide a flawless experience from start to finish. Clean, comfortable and private -- perfection. I cant wait to do it again!
Good experience, the building could use some updates and improvement to help the experience feel more genuine; but overall a good experience
Good relaxation massage (I was really overdue and needed more of a medical massage, but I knew I was at a spa so not bothered by the service). I really enjoyed the atmosphere of bing like a beach cabana, and the float was amazing and really needed for both my body and my brain.
It’s a wonderful facility (sometimes you hear the noise from the Chipotle kitchen through the water) but booking is difficult. I’ve floated a few times, and have always had technical issues. The process is outdated, which can lead to trouble if you’re booking on your phone. Plus, they don’t quite use the MINDBODY app, but they kind of do, which also leads to difficulty booking, because the information doesn’t match.
My husband and I purchased the couples float and this was our first float experience. The check-in employee was friendly who gave us the tour and explained the process. However the experience fell short of expectations. The float room is across the hall from the dressing room. There is no robe provided so we just used our towels which were meant for after the float (only provided 2). Seems strange the lack of privacy and no robe to go to/from the float room. Also I did not bring sandals which would have been smart to bring as otherwise you are barefoot and wet walking across the hall to dress again after.I did not notice any sanitary issues in the float room, but the dressing room and bathroom did not have clean floors… I could tell they had not been mopped and there was long dark hairs on the floor. We were the first appointment of the morning so there really is no excuse for that. Made me wonder what else had not been cleaned. As for the float itself, we were told which buttons controlled the lights on the inside and the panic button before the employee went back to the front. It wasn’t until we were inside the float that we realized the music stopped and had no way to contact the employee to ask that the music be kept on (once again, you have no robe so to walk back to the front to ask we would have been barefoot in a towel…). I ended up getting my phone to play soothing sounds because neither of us were enjoying the dark float room with no music. That’s just our preference, but it seems strange thinking back that this was not explained to us if that was an option to keep soft music playing? The lights on the inside only have 2 settings… fully on and slightly dim (but still too bright in our opinion) so we opted for dark. Would be much better to have the lights on an actual dimmer to have the option of very minimal light. Overall would not be back or recommend for the $120 we spent.
Great experience! My boyfriend and I did a couples float and we had an amazing experience! We both felt super rejuvenated afterwards and super hungry! The tank definitely get hot! So no caffeine for at least 4 hours! Worth it! Definitely will do this again!
My husband and I went if for the Beach Room + Float couples special - and it was wonderful! The Beach Room was comfortable and I found myself dozing off a few times because it was so relaxing. The Float was our favorite though. It was so relaxing, and the salt content in the water made my skin feel amazing. There were muscles that could relax that normally cant - because of the weightlessness I felt! Staff was friendly and kindly directed us in everything we should expect, and need. Definitely recommend!
I have never been so displeased with a service focused around relaxation & wellness. Opened the door to the salt tub and took one step in and counted more than 10 long black hairs floating around the entire area of water. Should have gotten a massage!
This place was very relaxing. My wife fell asleep twice, once in the salt room, and once in the float tank. The only recommendation that I would have for the flotation tank is to use the ear plugs. We didnt and floating for an hour on our backs with our ears underwater created issues for days afterwards. We will definitely be going back, Im thinking about having my wife go monthly.
I did the flotation and the salt room … I was soooi incredibly relaxed in the water that I actually went into a half sleep!!! I even went over my time limit!!! They were extremely kind about it and I still went to relax in the other room afterwards. Next time I’ll make sure I’m a little more rested so I don’t fall asleep, having two kids under 5 does that to you!! I will without a doubt be back often!!!! Wonderful place and has all the essentials you would need!!
This place is great. My wife and I did the float tank today. Very relaxing and cool experience. You instantly become weightless and have the best meditation spot. Terry the owner is really nice and showed us all the salt rooms. He defiantly has a passion about helping people build a stronger immune system through salt therapy.
Diane went out her way to make my date with my new girlfriend special! She exceeded my expectations! The float therapy was super relaxing. We will definitely go back!
My partner and I came for a half hour salt room session and a one hour float. Both services were great and we left feeling refreshed and completely free of the congestion wed had for over a week. Staff were helpful and kind, and gave detailed instructions so wed get the most out of our services. The projector in the salt room wasnt working, but we flipped lights and didnt miss it. I think its much more relaxing that way. We were given heating pads and warm blankets for our salt therpy session. Our couples float was relaxing for a while, but I think we wouldve enjoyed it more as an individual float. We felt a bit distracted, but it was relaxing. Shower is in the same room for before and after float, and anything you could possibly need to get ready in another room close by- hair dryer, curling iron, lotion, etc. We will definitely be back soon for the salt room, and for a float by ourselves. Thank you!
First of all, wear the goggles. There, got that out of the way. Now provided you do avoid getting any of the saltwater in your eyes, which you will regret, this place is amazing. I went for the hour long package, which is about 40 or 45 minutes in the tank. The float tank is huge, bigger than my apartments bathroom so if youre worried about being claustrophobic thats not an issue. With the lights off it can be kind of disorienting but thats part of the fun! If you dont think thats fun no big deal you can turn the lights on (theyre blue and you can choose bottom lights which give an ambient glow or roof lights which are arranged asymmetrically like stars) and if it gets stuffy you can open the door. The room outside the tank is all yours and has a nice shower area. You can turn the lights off there too but if you open the tank door there will be some light leakage from the hallway. If youve never done a float before I do recommend it. Afterwards I felt like Id had a massage, all loose and warm. Id do it again!
This was my first, but not my last visit! I did 30 minutes of halo therapy followed by 30 minutes of flotation therapy. The young man who checked me in and explained the process was very kind and had a calming energy. The halotherapy room was set up like a beach with comfy lounge chairs and ocean decor. The sound of ocean waves filled the room while I relaxed on my lounger. I was also provided with two heat pads - one draped over my shoulders and one for my back. There is salt pumped into the air in the halotherapy room. It is supposed to help with sinus issues and allergies, among other things. After I finished in the halotherapy room, I was escorted to the flotation therapy room, where everything was explained. Amazing experience in here! The flotation room is just the right size for one. There is more salt per cubic foot of water in this room than there is in the Dead Sea!! I can’t usually relax enough to just float in water, but with the help of the epsom salt, I floated effortlessly. The experience began with 5 minutes of soothing music and stars illuminated on the top of the ceiling. Then the music ended and all the lights went out. I was a little concerned about how I might feel in this sensory deprivation situation, but it was amazing!!! Will definitely be doing it again. They give you ear plugs and a flotation device for your head, if you want to use it. The water is body temp, so very comfortable and soothing. And if you do get scared, there are buttons to turn on the lights and the door can be easily pushed open from inside the flotation area. Afterwards there is a shower with soap, shampoo, and conditioner all provided. They also have a towel warming up in a heating device, so that feels good too 😊. They also have a dressing room to get ready after you finish showering. It includes ear swabs, a hair dryer, and other items.Like I said, I will definitely go back!
I dont ever pamper myself, and now im kicking myself that I havent done it sooner. They are very professional, courteous, and the atmosphere immediately is inviting and relaxing. I went for an hour float session for the first time and I feel amazing. The hour went by very fast but I cant wait to see how long the effects last! Thanks!
I had my first visit at Salinity today. It was an amazing experience. I have researched flotation for a while and finally took the plunge.Upon arrival, the staff was super friendly. They explained everything and answered all of my questions. The facility itself was amazing. Easy to get around and it smelled clean, not overly salty (which I expected), not overly bleachy, but clean and sanitized. The floating experience itself I dont think I can adequately describe- it is different for everyone. I am not a super touchy feely person, so massages often leave me more tense. I was able to relax, I felt my muscles start to unclench. The check out process was easy. We talked about options for return. At no point did I feel like they were trying to sell me anything.
I just returned my my first float session, not knowing what to expect and left feeling so relaxed and refreshed. The spa is clean and the owner is polite and very helpful. Id highly recommend to anyone. I will be back!
This was my first experience at a float spa. I did an hour float. I highly recommend it. I feel more relaxed than I do after a massage. If you are claustrophobic or have balance issues (i.e. vertigo, motion sickness) I wouldnt do this. Otherwise I just felt weightless and all my stress melted off. If youre uncomfortable floating in the dark and silence then there are blue lights and spa music you can float under which is very relaxing as well.
Amazing spa experience. I took my mom here for a girls day and we loved it. Left the building feeling relaxed, recharged, and ready for the rest of our day. I am definitely coming back and highly recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable, yet relaxing and professional, spa experience.
Our first time to ever try the salinity floation... we did the couples float & it was AMAZING!!! Will definitely be going back again, not just for another float, but to try the other services they offer!!! The staff was so wonderful & welcoming, quickly putting any hesitations to ease!! Great experience to start a relaxing evening!!
Love the float spa. Tried a 30 minute session and came back for the hour session. 1 hour was way better. Thinning about trying the 2 hour. A must if youre looking for a new relaxing experience locally.
This was my first experience at a float therapy spa and it was amazing. The staff was great and made it a welcoming experience. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.
The dry salt room is cool (maybe around 65°F), but throw blankets are available. The chairs are beach lounger style, which are uncomfortable for me, but the floor has a nice give to it. Id like to give the float room a try one a future visit.
I did my first float here. Diane was very friendly and walked me through the steps. Facility was very clean and felt like home. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering doing a float.
Very first time there and I was in such of a relaxing mood that I didnt want to leave. Me and my girlfriend was very excited for the experience. I will definitely be going back in the near future!!
Would recommend! however, could still see light peeking through the edge of the tank door, so was not completely in the dark as I had hoped and was slightly cold. if I could make the water warmer and the room darker it would be a 5 star experience for me!
This place is wonderful!!! So relaxing!! I definitely recommend. I did the Floatation therapy but definitely will go back and try the salt therapy.
Such an amazing experience! I was so relaxed and calm after my float. Cant wait to go back!
It was beautiful and serene. I wish they would offer an introductory offer of a 30 min. float session and also allow the calming music to continue to play if the customer wishes for it to.
Well I was looking for a different relaxation method and thought I would give this a try. I get what they are trying to do I really do and the concept is good but needs tweaked. Bring the beach to the inland. The only issue is your in an overly cold room, whether you have the heating pad or not. Sitting in a beach chair with salt being pumped into the room air. Good idea poor delivery. Gave it 2 stars for the try.
They let multiple people in the tanks at once. Unprofessional
What a wonderful time. I scheduled a float for my husband, he felt amazing afterwards. The owners treated us with such gracious attention. Highly recommend all Services here!!!!
I called to get information about the company, and the lady Dianna who answered the phone was very rude and short with me.
My boyfriend and I loved it! The staff were great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We plan to return for the valentines special. Definitely recommend 👍
We did a 1 hour couples float. It was fantastic! Staff was really cool. Place was super clean! Highly recommended!
Well run place. Owners are involved and walk you through the float process. Facility feels clean and sanitized. Highly recommended - both float room and salt therapy room.
Great experience overall. Staff was friendly and informative. Been wanting to try this for a while and Im glad I did. Definitely would recommend trying it at least once but youll probably book again like I plan to 😉
My friend and I had an absolutely fabulous time. Very relaxing and soothing. I will be back.
This was my first time doing flotation therapy and it was great. Everyone was very nice and showed me exactly what to do. It was very relaxing and I would recommend it to everyone!
We really enjoyed our couples float session and the whole staff was friendly and made us feel very comfortable!
So happy with my experience! I woke up this morning with a calmer mind and much more relaxed. Thank you!!!
First time float,It was a wonderful relaxing experience. Highly recommend!
The guy who runs the place was so nice and sweet and helpful! The place is clean and hygienic and BEAUTIFUL! I love the sensory tank!
Great place. Was not able to go in as we leave for a few months because of work. They were nice and was able to refund the money. Will def go back when we can!!
Great experience, definitely going back.
We loved our float! Relaxing, and my sinuses had never felt better!
Went in to look around and stayed for a halo treatment. Got to sit at the beach and do a treatment all at the same time. Very cool!
It was great the beach thing is totally a Midwest thing to have and do but the isolation floatation thing is for everyone I enjoyed it
It was a very nice, relaxing experience, floating in the salt water was the best!
Excellent relaxing spa. Loved it. A must try
The flotation took a few minutes to get used to but was relaxing and amazing.
The place is very clean, the owners are awesome, and the overall experience is phenomenal. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff and the salt float is amazingly relaxing. Recommend
Nice guy

Great locally owned businesses. Ill be back
I will visit this place over and over, the experience is always the best.
