Immediately on entering the salon, the receptionist was very friendly and personable. She is the reason it’s getting two stars instead of one.My facial with Tilley was interesting. The room was dirty, stuff all over the floor and the handles on all of her equipment were dirty. I looked past all of that and continued with the facial. I will admit this was my first facial so I was not sure what to expect. I came in with a small amount of mascara on, but assumed it wouldn’t be an issue since part of a facial is washing my face- but I was wrong.About halfway through the facial my eyes started burning, and I realized that she hadn’t wiped any of my mascara off. As part of the facial is using steam, hot towels, etc. it’s obvious that my mascara is going to get rubbed all over my eyes, even if you’re very careful. I told her I thought something was in my eye so she gave me a round, wet sponge to get it out? I thought that was odd, but used that to wash out my eye and then I used the sheet to dry it off. She explained to me it was probably my mascara and that she had makeup remover that she planned to use at the end of the facial, but if it helped she could use it on me now. My question is, why was that not used at the beginning if it was available, to make sure that nothing got into my eyes? And if it wasn’t part of the process I would have been happy to wash my face beforehand in the bathroom, if she would have told me.Here is the real kicker, SHE NEVER USED THE MAKE UP REMOVER. Even at the end like she originally planned to. I just had to laugh when I got dressed and had mascara all over my eye lids. I guess I assumed after a facial that my whole face would be clean. Then I got out to the car (after my anti acne facial, might I add) and noticed I had a white head on my nose and that none of the blackheads on my nose were addressed. So much for an acne facial.Thankfully this was a gift certificate so I only spent $15, plus a tip, but I won’t be returning.

This was one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. Kim was fantastic, she clearly understands anatomy, and was great at finding and focusing on knots, and afterwards she gave me feedback about things she noticed that could be causing tension in parts of my back.I’d def book with Kim again!

The location itself, I will only give a 3.5 Star But Krystal, the massage therapist, definitely is a 5 stars!I would highly recommend Krystal if you come to this location!Krystal is the ONLY one massage therapist ever treated the roots of my problems not only the symptoms!She worked on the areas NO any other therapist has ever suggested or worked on.I have been during with neck and shoulder pain for YEARS! Each time the massage therapist only works on those problematic areas, it was a big relief but after a day or two, all tightness just came back, as well as the unbearable pain.Krystal educated me the cause of the shoulder and neck pain is NOT only because of neck and shoulder problem. She worked on my arms and chest and totally helped me to relax those muscle. and she taught me how to do stretching correctly to open and loosen up those muscle correctly... and it has been feeling so much loosened and relaxed. Now I know how and where to do the stretch to help with my neck and shoulder pain. and I stand up a lot more straighter. What a huge discovery and relief. I will definitely come back .

Called them while I was out in the area, and they got me right in. Jessica was my massage therapist, she deep a deep tissue massage on me. She worked on my problem areas that we talked about. Very clean, friendly, and reasonable.

I called this location four days ago for a Monday April 10th 2pm appointment for sciatica pain. The receptionist took my card information and other personal info and confirmed she booked my appointment. I drove 21 minutes in a thunderstorm on my day off to this location only to be told by another receptionist that my profile was created and my card info was taken but the woman never fully booked me. The receptionist didnt try to fix their mistake and instead was nonchalant and told me they might be able to a few days from now or another time. Book at your own risk.

Had a massage with Krystal a few weeks ago and it was the most awkward experience. I asked her to spend the most of my time on my back and she spent the least time there. Then she kept wiggling my limbs telling me to relax. It was making me not relax. Then at the end she put my legs up in the air and pulled them. It just was not relaxing lol. I like Zen but will never get another massage by her sadly.

Amazing esthetician, and Id love to see her again, but the receptionist was unnecessarily rude to my mother, who is originally from Japan. Upon entrance, she asked if my mother speaks English, just because she has an accent, which she is fluent in. Then later would only indirectly speak to my mother through me, all while she was right next to me in the waiting area. Maybe she was just curious, but the way that was presented was disrespectful beyond belief, especially with all of the ethnic restaurants/shops all in the same strip mall! I most likely would not come back due to this since it kind of ruined our experience, but again, the esthetician, Tillie, was amazing

Recently received a 90-minute Swedish massage from Jessy, and it was absolute heaven!! The room had a wonderful ambiance, and I really appreciated the special care Jessy provided to the areas in which I had sore muscles. Would love to go back soon!

I got my fiancé a 90 minute deep tissue massage. She loved it. Went in for an hour prenatal massage. Left feeling incredible. Friendly, clean, well priced. I was surprised by how many rooms they had at this location. Therapist, Peggy, was nice and took great care of my particular needs. She even gave me suggestions on how to relieve certain pain at home and was just overall amazing. Highly recommend her.

Jessica was outstanding. She truly cared about what was important to me and my comfort level. She was willing to accommodate me however needed to ensure a great experience. She even took the time to explain what I can do in-between sessions to improve back pain/muscle strain in detail. Very professional, clean facility, with prompt service. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been coming here for many years. Usually just once a year for a special occasion couples massage, but as always it was a good experience! We both felt that our therapists -Nicholas and Miriam were excellent! :)

I had a 90 minute Swedish massage & hot stones with Ariel and could not have been happier. She uses the hot stones every where (face, toes, palms, back, ect.....)She has great communication of what to expect and is an excellent therapist. I typically go to higher end places, but would put today in the Top 10 massages Ive ever had. Will definitely be back. Thank you Ariel.

I love it here. Everyone is super friendly. Our massage therapists are very knowledgeable and really know what theyre doing. I really love how well they listen and that theyve never made me feel insecure at all.It is wheelchair accessible, including the restrooms.

Went for a deep tissue couples massage. I had *Crystal.* Massage was the best Ive ever had. She really listened when we were going over areas I wanted to give attention. Worked my scalp, neck, glutes, even my hands. It was amazing. I definitely recommend Crystal. The atmosphere was very professional and clean. The bathroom was clean and nice also. Aubry gave me the best massage of my life last night! I’m a waitress and my shoulders have been killing me. She worked out so much stress and tension in my upper body. Quality Massage at an affordable price. There are few things better than that. Truly, Zen massage has been the best massage place Ive been to. I have never felt pressured to spend more money than I had planned, Ive never had a an experience thats made me feel uncomfortable, and Ive left feeling refreshed every time.

Amazing staff!! Chris is my superhero!! She has speeded up my recovery from shoulder surgery and made what could have been a very long drawn out painful process much easier. I highly recommend Zen if you are just needing a break or in need of some serious relief. They offer lots of of different services, have excellent rates and easy scheduling.

Jessica is a wonderful therapist. I booked a one hour deep tissue massage, and asked for specific attention on a sore shoulder blade. She listened, and understood, and did a great job! Very happy.

This is the place to go for a great massage! The price is fair and Elise works magic!! No wimpy hands or elbows with her (not a big elbow fan). She really knows how to get in there. Ive had many a massage and she is at the top of my list. Ive been going there for years and havent felt a need to go elsewhere, even with tempting Groupons. You just cant beat her massage quality, price and clean atmosphere!

I Love going to Zen massage especially with my new therapist Dee! She is amazing. I am a healthy 55 year old with aches and pains from working to much and sitting at a computer. She has helped me unlock and inspired me to do daily stretches. I have always received good massages and benefits from several other therapist there and with my busy schedule their is usually someone to accommodate me. I appreciate their high standards of operating.

Very professional. I had a lot of knots in the right half of my back. My left side was much less tight. Not only did she focus on the right side and so I felt much better when I left but she also gave me advice on how I can avoid knots in the future.

I have been to many places for massages and this place was well below average. This place does not look like any spa I’ve ever been to. Massage rooms were plain and looked like a closet. There was no music or relaxing sounds at all and it was silent and I was able to hear doors closing, etc from other rooms. My hour massage was 40 minutes at best. And the “glass” of water I was given after my massage was a tiny Dixie cup. This placeWas cheap and a joke.

I had received a massage for my birthday and really needed some peace and renewal for a hour. She did just that, no talking just focused on the massage. It was superb, highly recommend this place!

I requested a sports massage since I frequently enter races and need treatment afterwards. My therapist carefully listened to my description of my needs and tailored his treatment accordingly. I have been to him several times and he is always attentive to my needs resulting from my races.Compared to massages at other business, this has been of the highest caliber.

We were taking our co-worker out for her 30th. Zen was the perfect place to relax, and enjoy our afternoon! Our massage therapists listened to our problem areas and worked out our kinks accordingly. Very happy! We will be back :)

Been going to Zen for years for deep tissue. Therapists are knowledgable and provide feedback. Only negative is that new management a couple years ago has raised prices and made few other changes, but still a great place.

An individual one hour swedish massage costs $54.95. The one hour couples swedish massage costs $119.90. Why is their a $10 surcharge? It would of been cheaper for my wife and I to have gotten 2 separate massages instead of the couples. Pricing model seems wrong. Will probably not return unless prices change.

Zen massage is clean, the therapists are amazing, and the hours are extremely convenient. I can get off work and go later in the evening. Just thinking about going in makes me feel better.Mercedez was my last therapist. 5* for her too. She did great work on my neck and shoulders. I felt great the day after, thanks again Mercedez.

It was a nice clean place with polite staff, but I just did not get what I asked for. I asked for a Deep Tissue massage. I also addressed that I wanted my knots worked out. I was hoping for alot of pressure but just did not get that. If your looking for a nice, calm, an easy massage I guess this wasnt that bad. But fr a more deeptissue massage where the actually relaive your knots an pain Id recommend something else.

Sometimes when you get a massage or facial they spend all their time trying to UPSELL you (the equivalent of Do you want fries with that?). That is NOT the case with Zen Massage. It truly is ZEN from the masseuse who quietly massages you without trying to engage you in conversation - I fell asleep 5 times during my 90 minute massage - to the esthetician who throws in red light therapy to show you how it can improve your skin. If you are fans of a bargain, then this is the place for you. The 90-minute massage (including tip) comes out to a dollar a minute - WORTH IT! Chris has been my masseuse every time I have been there because she is the best one I have ever had...and I went to a lot of spas when I lived in Chicago. At X-Mas they offered half off facial and massage gift cards, I bought them for ME!

Best priced for great quality massages I’ve found in Kc/Overland Park! I’ve done Swedish and neuro muscular massages and tell everyone to go here now.

LOVE this place! Ive had Nicolas twice now and he remembers who you are. On my first visit he took the time to show me what was causing my problem areas and has done a grate job at helping prevent them! The place is VERRY clean and I wouldnt wanna go anywhere elce!

I paid $95 for an hour and half, $20 more than anywhere else. scheduled a Deeptissue massage. But only received a soft rubdown. Told the therapist push hard as can then press some more it won’t hurt me. She must have heard going slower and softer. Left with more knots had when I got there. Just a Johnson County fuu fuu place. Go anywhere else

I have been going to Zen massage for years and lately its completely gone down hill. The staff is rude now they rarely answer or call back and if i were to try and re-schedule or cancel my appt i get charged yet today 4 hours prior to my appt i get a call saying my therapist just had surgery and cone come in and they wanted to change my appt. Guess ill start looking for a new place to go to.
