The person who gave me massage was clearly sick and constantly clearing his throat and coughing. I wouldnt have opted for the massage had I noticed the symptoms beforehand. He didnt even bother to wear a mask and be considerate of the customer. I hope I dont catch whatever he had. I took the chair massage and foot massage combo. Chair massage was okay ( although he put too much emphasis on shoulders ). I didnt get even half of my time on foot massage. I didnt care to bring it up either since I just wanted to get out of the place asap and not catch whatever flu he was carrying. Communication was difficult as he barely spoke any English.

If you like deep tissue massage, this is the place to go. The massage therapist I had did a thorough job on my neck, shoulders, and back. Affordable prices. I agree with other reviewers that gave positive reviews. They barely speak English and so if you have specific needs, they might not be able to accommodate you. I will definitely go back.

My husband and I have gone here many times. We went this afternoon and both had a marvelous massage. My husband likes deep tissue massage. I like a lighter touch, but one time a massage therapist told me essentially no pain no gain, and to breathe into the massage. Normally I do like a lighter touch, but since I havent been going for massages and was very tight, I decided to breathe into it instead of asking the massage therapist to use a softer touch. The result is that now, after all is said and done, I feel very relaxed. However, I do believe every one should speak up and ask for the level of pressure they like themselves. It was a great massage!

They ripoff whenever they have a chance. Our massages were shortcut by 5 minutes bc I timed the massages. And we bought a combo, 20 chair and 25 foot massages for $50 each. When we finished the want $10 more bc they want us to pay separately, chair $25 and $30 for foot massages. They are very dishonest and not recommended at all for their services!!!

This is a kiosk in Tysons 1, but these guys are the best deep tissue massage therapists in the area. Especially within the context of taking walk-ins. The pressure is always deep and therapeutic, no fake Swedish rubbing, cupping, or essential oil spiritual awakening massages. All about muscle, leverage, effort, and technique. Breaking up real tension in your torso and neck. Putting real human energy into your ailments.Very much worth it, my wife and I have been visiting them for years, and even after we moved out of Tysons, we still drive into Tysons to visit. And they are cheaper than a lot of places.Weve experimented with deep tissue from all sorts of places over the past decade or so, and nobody has ever been as consistently pressure oriented as Zen Relax. If you like Swedish skin tickling, go somewhere else. Bring earplugs or earbuds though, the shrieking brats in the mall will ruin your massage.

Very good experience. I did the short 15 min session and it was really worth it. Deep tissue massage will hurt the muscles/tissue that need that massage the most, so more blood can flow in that area, otherwise its not worth paying for a massage in my opinion.

At Zen Relax massage borders on being medically significant. The guys who work here are masters of care. They use a deep tissue style combined with chiropractic techniques. These guys really put their energy into your whole body which is wild for chair massage. You won’t find better anywhere!!

This place is AMAZING! I drive all the way from Bowie, MD because all of the dedicated seated chair massage places in Maryland Malls are gone and the best seated chair massage is from places that just do that. Ive been 5 times in the past 2 months and every time it has been consistent and excellent! I feel I get more out of a 1 hour session here than I do at a 2 hour lay down table massage. They are fast and efficient here! They do excellent deep tissue, which is what I love! Their prices are good too! Really cannot say enough great things about these gentlemen!!

Dont get shorted on your massage time! I sat with Mr. Long for a 20 min massage, I would say the massage was good but he stopped short at 16 minutes. When I refused to pay for the full 20 minutes he got angry and told me not to come back.Mr. long needs to learn manners and learn how to keep better track of time. I think he can really improve his service if he learns to do that. All the best to him but I didnt appreciate being shorted when charged by the minute. I would have happily tipped him to cover the 20 min but the customer service was not good.*Another thing to note is that the massage chairs are extremely uncomfortable to rest your face in. This ruins the experience because of how uncomfortably your face is rested which also makes it hard to breathe.

Zen Relax is the massage kiosk located just outside la Madeleine cafe on the Lord and Taylor wing of Tysons Corner Center. At first it seems like just your typical chair massage spot but after several sessions and trying similar spots in other malls, Zen Relax in Tysons consistently offers THE BEST massage for your money hands down. The staff is very friendly and are knowledgeable in their craft. I lift weights as a hobby and usually feel sore after a grueling back day at the gym. A 30 minute session at Zen Relax loosens me up and honestly helps me recover a lot faster than without it. A word of warning, I do prefer a heavy-handed massage and these guys deliver. If youre sensitive to that type of deep massage let them know ahead of time.PROTIP: get at least a 30 minute massage! Dont go for the 10 or 20 minute sessions because youll want more. You have money to splurge on a massage, why not go for as long as possible! Dont forget to tip your masseuse too!PROS: awesome deep massage at a cheap cost, comes out to just around $1 per minute, professional and friendly staff, great excuse to duck in while your significant other goes shopping.CONS: could be very busy at times, only a couple chairs available at any time, bring cash as a backup payment in case their credit card reader breaks down (which has happened the last couple times Ive gone), could ruin all other chair massages for you!

They are very good in what they do, no doubt about it but the only thing I’m worried was when they charged my husband’s credit card double the amount than what it should be. We went back to Tyson’s Corner and clarified with them nicely but the guy was so arrogant and said that my husband gave the remaining amount as a tip which is hard to believe because the extra amount they charge was more than the massage itself. I’m giving this review to make everyone aware to make sure you check your receipt.

Very angry when I asked for deep massage. He started hitting me as if he was giving massage. He told me that he doesn’t care if I come back or not. Very Rude and unprofessional. They give 25 minute massage and charge for 30 minutes. I will never go back because he almost hurt me when I asked for stronger massage.

Best back massage Ive ever had in the dmv. Been to several places and this is the only one that gets the job done. You can ask for less pressure but I personally love a more intense massage. Highly recommend!

They do a good job. I don’t want it to be too painful so I ask them to be gentle. I don’t go for relaxation, I go so my body can heal as my job is laborious and my neck, arm and shoulder hurt. I have been to other places and they have caused more pain. But after a massage from this place, yes I am in pain while they are massaging me, but I feel so much better afterwards and my body pains and aches go away.

GREAT MASSAGE!!! This is a great place for a chair massage. Everyone does a very fantastic, consistent job and uses deep pressure. I go regularly. In my opinion these chair massages are better than a table massage and you dont need an appointment; just walk up. I highly recommend giving this place a try. You will not regret it!

Great massage chair experience. Tim is really professional on his job. The Only reason I give 4 stars not 5 is he is heavy smoker and I don’t like cigar smell. I paid for 30 min but it is more worthy. So I happily gave him extra tip more than I expected to pay.

I transport vehicles, and Im driving many miles for many hours, not to mention all the physical labor that comes along with the job. Before the massage, my back was feeling horrible. After 1hour, 30 minutes on my back and 30 minutes on my feet and legs, I feel great.

I’ve been going to this place every once in awhile for about a year. normally it’s quite good but the last time I went, I kept praying someone would see the pain on my face and make the guy stop. I swear he bruised and almost punctured my kidneys with his thumbs. He started off pushing me straight into and almost through the chair in an attempt to “crack” my back, knocking all the wind from lungs and rendering me unable to speak to beg him to stop. And when he couldn’t get it to crack, he applied even more pressure. Now, I love a deep tissue massage but this was more like deep tissue torture. At one point he would sort of squeeze down each finger and give an extra squeeze at the end. I wasn’t sure if my finger nails were still attached after that maneuver. It was followed by the most excruciating slapping of my bare upper arms. I attempted to lift my other arm to protect myself but it was no use. He left marks! I was simultaneously crying and laughing. But he seemed not to notice. In my desperation, I tried to call my husband back psychically to rescue me. It took me four days to recover. My pain and stiffness were way worse after being brutalized here.I’m giving it 2 stats for this torture but otherwise I’ve loved the place.

Very rude and unwelcoming. I just asked him if they can disinfect the chairs before massage, he was nodding his head in an arrogant and unfriendly way. Then he was telling me to go away (in sign language) as if he does not want me around anymore!

Very painful massage, more like torture! I was in the mall and had some neck pain, now I have sever pain all over my back. The guy was using extreme pressure, clearly not knowing what he is doing and trying to cover it up by using more pressure. Never going back!
