We got a reservation, and when we showed up to check in at 10:30, the front desk was closed and no one was able to help us. The website said they were open for check in till 12 and a higher up said he agreed with us but there was nothing they could do. I really wish I could leave less than a 1 star review. A negative star review seems fit for the experience I had. L OYO, I’m happy to never partake again.
STAY AWAY HUGE SCAM* They are a huge scam and should be shut down, they allow people to book without them actually having rooms open and make it hard to get your money back. *I booked a room, showed up within an hour of booking it and they said they gave my room away, they sent me away in the middle of the night to find somewhere else to stay. Front desk said they couldnt refund me, after calling for several days & complaining several times i was finally able to get a refund but you have to be consistent about it or they will happily keep your money. ( other reviews claim they never got refunded)KEISHING IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER, he is the one who finally approved our refund after me calling several days and complaining. i hope this helps someone else avoid making the same mistake and booking for them.
Horrible place to stay. I’m room there where roaches spotted, bed had stains on sheets. I refused to stay so upon notifying front desk that I was checking out she came in to inspect room and stated that there was supposed to be seven towels instead of five and one of them that was still hanging up on towel rack she claimed that it didn’t belong to hotel. Accused me of putting the stains on the sheets. After 5-10 minutes of debating with her about the room I asked for deposit back and she only gave me partial of my deposit back. A horrible experience with this location all the way around.
If I could get of a negative star I would made a reservation on their website. Room was prepaid for got to hotel. They have a sign on the door thats permanent saying they have no vacancy! It will take 7 days to get my money back when I was just trying to save a little money and get a little sleep. I have learned in my lesson I will never use this hotel brand again!
0 stars. Horrible. This building should be condemned. Mold everywhere, I found 3 roaches in the 5 minutes I was there, on in the bed sheets! I couldn’t stay it was so disgusting. Sheets were dirty. Roaches crawling ontop of dresser, under bed and under the sheet? This is an Indian hotel chain that run an operation from abroad, don’t believe the photos. I will be calling the health department and sending photos. Shame on you for cheating people. Allah/God is watching and knows you are thieves

So when I get back there to check in they told me their internet is down so they wont rent me a room. I had it booked 2 days prior. They gave me this number to get my money back but they never answered the phone. Called 56times in 2 days. Worse experience I have ever had in the world. DONT GO THERE.
Booked a hotel on the 31st of May only to arrive at the office with a no vacancy sign on the front door so no hotel room for me. Called my booking company for a refund and they said my request for a refund got denied with no reason given. Im definitely showing up to demand my refund asap thats not professional at all and its pretty much theft

Booked a room with my husband 3 times in a row just to be told they have no rooms and turned away. Very rude and suspicious acting staff and illegals everywhere. People from other countries and cant speak a lick of English just hanging out the rooms and junk. Crazy

Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was disappointing. Upon arriving at 11:30 pm, I was surprised to find the lobby closed despite no prior communication about its early closure at 10:00 pm. When reaching out for assistance, the provided contact number was out of service, leaving me stranded. Thankfully, Airbnb support helped me find alternative accommodation nearby. Its crucial for the hotel to inform guests about its early closing time to avoid similar inconveniences. Hopefully, this feedback will prompt improvements to prevent recurrence for future guests.
It is horrible. We reserve a hotel in advance and when we went, the lady said she only had one room one bed. She said it was overbooked. Looked nasty and dirty. We left and got a better hotel and it is much cleaner.

I called to let them know about a late check in and they said you couldnt check in the following day so I then asked them if if I showed up that night would I be able to check in they told me Yes I showed up 30 minutes later the doors were closed and I couldnt talk to anyone and I booked it for an entire week so I just got screwed out of $300 with her no refund policy...this is the worst hotel Ive ever dealt with do not stay here do not even think about it
I had a prepaid reservation via Priceline. I wrnt there and they said they didnt have a room for me. I contacted Priceline and they said they would look into it. Priceline said the motel would not authorize the refund and they kept my money. I did not cancel the reservation. OYO and Priceline are a bunch of crooks.
Customer skills suck. They were all rude with nasty attitudes. I booked two rooms both with two beds I got one room with one bed and the second room the door wouldnt open. Even after seeing all the vacant rooms they wouldnt give me another and have me a number to call to get my refund. They are very unprofessional and racist. Never will I stay there again.

Well, I booked online… I came in at check in and they didn’t have the reservation or available rooms. They said we they would cancel our reservations and to call Priceline. Talked to a rep at Priceline who stated they needed to call OYO to confirm…. However, the two employees at OYO would not pick up the phone…. So I am awaiting some resolution. I wasn’t able to see a room, but I’m going to guess the other reviews on the bugs and grime are accurate.
I only give 1 star because it will not let me give negative stars or no stars at all. First of all, the room was not cheap like they advertised and they make you pay a $50 cash deposit and promise to give it back if you bring the yellow slip of paper back when you check out but IS A LIE. They have NO intentions on giving you your $50 cash deposit at ALL! They are rude, they steal, the rooms stink, the sheets were dirty and had bed bugs on them, and at night the roaches come out. I got accused of smoking in the room and I dont smoke. I rented a scooter and still had time and money on it and they took it and just shrugged her shoulders when I told her that I had it and had money still on it. There is NO breakfast, no laundry service, the chair in the room looked like someone just used it for a toilet and stunk. I was there for two nights because I needed a quiet place to relax and focus on my school work and couldnt even do that in peace. Dope dealers in the parking lot all night, dope fiends knocking on my door, roaches stealing my food and I had to sleep in the bathtub to feel any kind of safe from bugs but slept with one and a half eyes open and I am missing a $400 bottle of perfume.
I recently stayed at this hotel that I would not recommend to anyone. From the moment I arrived, the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She demanded a $50 cash deposit, which was not mentioned anywhere on their website or during the reservation process. The credit card machine was conveniently out of order, which left me with no choice but to pay the cash deposit.Once I got to my room, the experience only got worse. The room reeked of smoke, despite being advertised as a non-smoking room. There was dirt on all the switches and the remote was missing a battery cover. But that wasnt even the worst part. The smoke detector was just sitting on the table, clearly not installed properly, and there were bugs everywhere! Im not talking about a couple of ants here and there, Im talking about a full-blown infestation.After less than 15 minutes in the room, I immediately checked out and requested a refund for the deposit. The lady at the front desk was clearly not pleased and even accused me of lying about the condition of the room. She begrudgingly gave me my deposit back, but the damage had already been done.Overall, I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. Between the rude and unprofessional staff, the cash-only deposit, and the disgusting condition of the room, it was a complete nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and look for somewhere else to stay.
One night I had food delivery in this inn, after 2 hours I saw at least 20 little cockroaches coming out of every corner. It’s such a scary nightmare. I asked the manager for refund, she didn’t do it later even though she agreed in my face. The service was not kind at all. This hotel even made me a terrible impression of Waco at that time. Also, I didn’t remember if they returned my deposit. Very horrible experience.
It may be cheap, but don’t stay here. It was alright, lots of things broken inside, mold in air vents, etc. Apparently I wasn’t allowed to check out early for an emergency which was fun! So I didn’t get my $50 back, spend the extra cash and stay somewhere else :)
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff wasnt very friendly and the room wasnt a king like my booking said. Also, had problems with the TV, and now I cant even get a hold of the actual property to ask about my deposit. I recommend that you stay somewhere else if you need a room. Worst experience ever!

Book a week long stay at this hotel. The pictures online are nothing like this rundown falling apart place is. Check in at 3pm no one at the front. Door locked. There is a number to call. Well, well, well, where do we begin with our stay at the OYO Hotel Waco University Area/I-35? Lets start with the receptionist who greeted us like we were enemies of the state. She demanded a cash deposit which came as a surprise since it wasnt mentioned in the booking process. Maybe she was trying to save up for a personality transplant?As if that wasnt enough, we were passed by someone who looked like the Tall Man from the movie Phantasm as we were walking to our room. We were half-expecting him to hand us a silver ball and say game on, but no such luck.Once we got to our room, it was like we walked into a horror movie. Bugs were crawling everywhere - the walls, the floor, the sink, and even in the toilet. We tried to flush them away, but the toilet wouldn’t flush, so it was like they were training for the Bug Olympics in there. We didnt want to think about what was going to happen to the toilet paper, but we had a sinking feeling that it wouldnt last long.We only lasted 15 minutes at this hotel before throwing in the towel. The receptionist demanded an inspection before returning our deposit, which was no big deal since we had only been there for a bit. But she did insist that we were lying about the bugs, even though we saw them crawling everywhere.If youre looking for a unique, bug-themed hotel experience, then the OYO Hotel Waco University Area/I-35 is the perfect choice for you. But if you prefer to sleep without the company of creepy crawlies, then you might want to steer clear. And dont be fooled by the glowing five-star reviews - those must have been written by the bugs themselves.
This place is horrible. Phone numbers are disconnected so you cannot reach the property. They completely close the office so if an emergency happens there is NO WAY to get ahold of anyone as their customer experience people are the ones who give you the disconnected phone numbers. Multiple drug users in parking lot at all hours, vagrants roaming property freely, and their so called security service is a JOKE, they will literally look at you while your waving honking and screaming at them too stop while you’re car alarm is going off AND KEEP DRIVING! Slow down but keep driving while you’re being victimized.My attorney told me not to post this but as school is about to start back and I know lots of parents who come to a support their kids, DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY AND WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BEING! Place is disgusting. Checked in and bugs everywhere room stunk. And Ive never seen a deposit for a cheap motel before. I travel a lot and never had to pay a deposit. Which if you book third party you dont know till you show up. Dont recommend and the health department or whoever deals with these places needs to come and surprise them.

I have stayed there many times, the night person at the front desk is rude, the rooms are nasty and the fact I have put a security deposit down and wait for God knows how long to get it back for a room clearly that smells like cigarettes and the front door has gaps. Never going there again.Teach management skills to the staff. She told me to have hotwire call her and she would approve the refund because I didnt want to pay the deposit. He called her and she said no to the refund. The in turn charged me 20 cancellation fee. And then I finally got enough to cover the deposit and ended having to rent the room to not lose my 20. Still waiting on my refund. Not happy same everytime.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A HOTEL EVER...I arrived at 9 to check in. A very rude African American lady came up to the window and told me the rooms were all full. I said Okay, no problem...I have a reservation and proceeded to tell her my booking number. She cut me off mid sentence and said There was a system error without looking at any computer or anything, just staring at me the whole time. They did nothing to help. Good thing we left though. I paid the OYO motel for 28 day stay. I informed the guy that took my reservation I had two 12 cert service dogs in crate with paperwork. Got to motel and was refused my room because the lady said owner said no pets. I had already paid them $1247 for the stay. I called the police for help and they responded. Lady still said no. I will in the tmro file a complaint with the ADA for refusing my little esa dogs. Stay here over a month the family that manages it is ok daughter is kind but…….. beware. They overlook a lot of safety features. One the maintenance man slash so called security guy is a drunk does deals for drugs. Ask for money cigarettes etc then don’t take trash keep property clean or security to busy getting drunk or high second housekeeping is ok but if you stay longer than a week be prepared to clean your own room will only give towels complains if they have to do more than sweep the cleaning practices are not Covid safe. Children should not be here high rate of crime behind the motel tent city and etc next door people was breaking into storage units the night before we left police can’t do much. A man with mental health issues wanders the parking lot night and day cussing and begging for cigarettes money police can’t do anything so as woman I felt very unsafe going outside my room. I called manager they say he stays there and if I want I can call police but there is nothing than can do. Be prepared for roaches flys everywhere. Housekeeper has a can of raid but the roaches will outnumber the people who stay here. The morning I couldn’t take much more was the man trying to beat a woman up outside her so called room if she was supposed to be there I don’t know I seen him push her and cuss her into room and her pleading to be cool.. this property is a best for construction workers staying a few days and have only so much to spend on bed and place to stay. Not safe not family friendly and after hours office is total joke no keys no security no towels nothing much. If you make a reservation with a credit card, you have to call Bangladesh or if you have a prop problem with the property itself you have to call Bangladesh but they don’t do anything.

I wish I could leave a more thorough detail about my experience. I had a room reserved for 4 days through booking.com almost a month prior. I should up to this. Very rough looking would be the best way to describe it. Not like the picture online at all. The lady at the reception informs me that they just gave the last room away and theyre already overbooked and Im basically out of luck. Thankfully the Red roof inn next door had accommodations that were worth paying a bit extra. A bit extra i Should have paid from the get-go. Oh, and then it automatically charged me for a cancellation, even though I didnt cancel it. Now I have to wait up to 7 to 14 days so get money back on a room I never canceled. OH NO! NOT THE OYO!
Okay I tried to give this place a chance, I mean its a cheaper hotel so I cant expect anything fancy, but I at LEAST expected to be able to sleep at night without worrying about bedbugs, but apparently I was wrong, and not only that but the mattress the bedbugs were found on had burn holes in it, for a supposedly non smoking hotel i find it weird that there are burn holes in the mattresses. All I can hope for now is that I get my deposit back once I get the hell outta here.

Nobody in the office for checkout, people in and out thinking their car horn all night. Fridge door was open as freezer was being defrosted and ended up with water all over the floor. Will never book this hotel again, and will never recommend it to anyone either. Horrible customer service.
The place is a slump!!!! Housekeeper Maria disrespect, rude, and racist!!! I checked in my room smelled like urine and cigarettes. Walked in the bathroom roaches crawling everywhere. They don’t clean the rooms you have to make a complaint just to get your room serviced. The cleaning ladies are rude. They get mad when you ask for new bedding and towels and never come to the room you have to walk around the hotel parking lot to search and find them just to get new bedding and towels. If a towel gets a speck of dirt or looks dirty she gets mad and says “Everytime I come to change the towels are garbage”.
This room doesnt even meet the low price. TV remote is junk, no phone to even call and complain. Take my advice and spend the money for a better place.
I dont give this hotel negative stars because I cant but the experience was the worst first of all I made a reservation for my husband that was traveling 14 hour to get to waco for work I paid and everything when my husband arrives to the hotel at 9 pm they tell them that they dont have any rooms available for him a room that he already had paid for so I tried to do something about it and they said that they couldnt do anything so he had to leave when I tried to get my money back they told me that I had to pay a fee for canceling even though I did not cancel my husband couldnt even check in because there was no rooms how is that canceling so they took over 6 days to give me my money that was not complete because they charged me the fee for canceling so honestly its awful that they book you rooms that they dont have and then just say its your fault so zero star for this hotel.

If I could put zero stars I would. Absolutely disgusting. As soon as I walked into the room I immediately walked back to the check in and ask for a refund of my deposit and she said it would be instant. 10 hours later still no refund and since I’ve booked over the phone I have to contact their assistance team which always disconnects every time I try to reach them. Do your self a favor and don’t even try here I rather sleep on a park bench then sleep in this place. The corners of the rooms are literally brown tinted and the bed looks like you will wake up with bites all over your body.
Roaches in the room, the inside of my door was patched with duct tape. No smoke detector, rust marks everywhere.the air tased like dirt and a metallic taste,maybe a copper. Granted you can hear everything people cars train. And the price advertised wasnt the same when walked in. Dont go here this location in Waco is horrible. Very unprofessional and rude staff at check in. Arrived at 2 pm and was told that we couldnt park there until 3 pm for check in unless we paid $20 extra cash which Im sure that she would have pocketed. The room was is very bad shape. TV wouldnt turn on, furniture was very beat up, no soap, no iron to iron clothes, the sheets were thread bare and worn out. Was going to stay 3 nights, but checked out after only the first night to find a better and nicer place. Dont believe the pictures, they are deceiving. We booked a king to get 2 queen beds instead. It could be worse, but I doubt it. No breakfast or anything. This is not even a 1-star place.

You get what you pay for, I suppose. Waited until I got my deposit back before I wrote this 😂 I booked online, and showed up shortly after 8 PM. Upon checking in, I was told I had to put a $50 damage deposit down before I got my key; wasnt notified of it online, at all. The room was mostly clean, but still was questionable based on the stains I found on the bedding. Room was not very well insulated, as I had to crank up the heater to make it habitable. The remotes to the TV did not work, and the smoke detector in my room kept chirping. The only reason for two stars and not one is the girl at the front desk who was patient and willing to help me out until she finally just had the smoke detector pulled out of the wall. Overall, the hotel itself if just old, rundown, and in desperate need of renovation.
Made reservations for two rooms two nights each. Arrived around 7:00pm, had to wake the receptionist up. She took my ID confirmed my reservation and then refused us rooms. Our room reservation was denied because we werent there by 3:00pm. She was rude and unprofessional. Luckily the Red Roof Inn next door had empty rooms.
Would strongly suggest staying elsewhere if you are able to. Upon arrival my room did not feel clean at all. Initially the room had an off putting smell, I also found old wrappers, pieces of food crumbs and dead insects in the cabinet. I saw that there were stains on the walls, doors floor tile and furniture along with pieces broken off or missing. There is open hole in the bathroom ceiling from an old light fixture as well as a hole in the wall under the sink that was plugged with a rolled up towel.To top it off I did find a few roaches in the living room and the bathroom.I understand that this is an affordable hotel option but that shouldnt excuse it from feeling like you are spending the night in an alleyway.
They stole my money!!!! I booked 2 rooms online, I showed up after 11pm to checkin with my wife and kids, they said the hotel is full and you cannot checkin after 11. The lady asked me to look for another hotel. They haven’t shown the policy while booking on other travel agencies website nor in the confirmation email, and worst part is that how come you can give the rooms to others when you took money from someone already. Pictures make it look very nice....run down ...roof needs replaced...the whole place needs remodel...scare I am gonna get bed bugs....very disappointed....and no refunds cus I booked on line...doesnt deserve a one star to be honest,..I will be sending a complaint to the booking site for sure
When we arrived to check in we were asked by the receptionist if we wanted the room by the hour or the night. I informed her we had a reservation and it was for the whole night. I am so thankful I brought my own sheets and quilt, in addition I had to clean our room with Lysol and Clorox. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower and a hole that was poorly patched by the a/c unit. It was horrible. I will definitely be spending the $200 on a room next time I go to Waco.
DO NOT BOOK HEREThe room smelled so bad of cleaning products that I had to leave in the first 10 minutes or I would have thrown up. In that time I saw roaches and heard the people next door fighting and throwing stuff.They said I had to go online to get a refund and their customer service online and over the phone was down. I had to call from the front desk of a different hotel to get it to work and they said my refund would be back IN 7-14 BUSINESS DAYSPlease go to any other hotel
For a quick night stop passing through, its fine. Its cheap however we didnt get the rate we booked for on hotels.com. We asked for a non-smoking room but our room smelled of smoke, I found a hair near the corner of the tub and there was 2 staind on the comforter. We also asked for a king bed single room they gave us a double bed queen room, which is fine but perhaps the room we were in was a smoking room. Staff was nice, water was warm, AC worked.
I had a reservation on 9/24 but when I arrived at the hotel they said they are full and cannot give me a room. Then I have to contact Priceline to cancel the room (they said I booked with Priceline so they cannot cancel and refund for me in their end). However when I called priceline, priceline said they needed to call this hotel to verify if they are truly overbooked but they never answered the call from priceline. When I went back to their hotel, they insisted their phone is working but priceline didn’t call them. The front desk and I both tested their landline phone and it obviously didn’t work. But the front desk lady insisted it is working. Then I asked her to talk to the priceline agent from my phone. Then she started to argue and even curse the priceline agent through my phone with very rude words. It took about 1 hour for her to argue with the priceline agent about the hotel landline phone problem through my cellphone before she wanted to confirm I didn’t get my room and was eligible for a refund. Very bad experience. I suggest all the travel platforms remove this hotel. Definitely no booking again.
The bathrooms have been totally redone. Very nice tile all around. The manager - a very pleasant person - told me that the carpet and furniture in the rooms will be renewed within the next couple of months or so. How many hotels have crown molding around the ceiling? Their is real value in this hotel.
Our room had some updates: new bed and floors, but it did not change the fact that there were large holes in the walls and ceiling, gaps between the walls/doors/baseboards, and an unknown substance on the wall above our bed. It smelled strongly of bleach yet was still dirty, we were only given 1 towel for 2 people, and only one side of the bed had a bedside table and outlet. While it is a low-cost bed to sleep on for a night I do not feel comfortable staying there again.
Dirty rooms, I killed 3-4 roaches every night. Room next door had a party two nights in a row and no one answered to help. Called their customer support and they were not able to reach the front desk also. DO NOT STAY HERE!! read all reviews and do not make the mistake i did.
This place was so gross. Bugs were everywhere and there were only 5 channels. Hair and stains on the bed and also bed bugs on the bed also. Bugs also crawling out the toilet and sink, and then when trying to get a refund the lady at the front desk kept saying we were capping about there being bed bug. She was really rude and that is no cap.
I stayed one night but felt I tried a few aspects that made the visit good. I had a late lunch in the lounge area that was good and room service did not disappoint. My bed was comfy, toiletries were good. A car rental desk was in the lobby. Super convenient. The location was busy but inside the hotel was tranquil.
We booked a room here knowing we were paying a great price for a lower quality of room. However, my wife and I did not stay the night because my wife was pretty sure there was mold on the bedframe in the room. The receptionist was nice and helpful. She is the only reason this is not a 1 star review.I later tried to book another room, on July 2nd and I called, booked, and paid in the afternoon on that day. Then when arrived the hotel was overbooked and there were no rooms left.
Well where do i start? The middle of winter paid a reservation. Show up with my 2 yr old bout 9 to be told theyd been trying to reach me that my room had rented. Told her about my son explained its mid 30⁰ s and I paid online and she replies not my problem. Charged my card anyway, corporate wouldnt refund my charged cancelation fees. And while I was looking for another hotel ( which I never found)the desk woman and maintenance man went in and out of four rooms!PRETTY SURE THEY WERE DEALING DRUGS OUT OF THERE, RENTED MY ROOM OUT ROOM OUT FROM UNDER ME AND POCKETED THE CASH! WISH I COULD LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS!
Dont ever try to book with this hotel, If they find someone who pays more than you they will kick you out with your family and canceled your reservation in last minute because they are overbooked with no regret or feeling ashamed. They made the mistake and you are the one who paid for it, they will just return your money back with out offering you shifting or help for booking another room. me and my family had a very pad day.
Only reason they got 1 star is because it wouldn’t allow me to post!!! Most disgusting place I’ve ever entered! They only show beds since that’s only decent thing. Roaches everywhere! Mildew everywhere! Men outside drinking & being inappropriate with me and my daughter! We ended leaving at 1:30 am because roaches were crawling up from the floors and walls! Knocked to complain and hand key and no one answered…also couldn’t get thru on phones!!! THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
Never book here, installations looks like homeless guetto, I arrived the day booked and I was advised at desk no more vacancies. It supposed I would get a refund, but they pay back 1.5 usd. This is really absurd, worst service ever!!
Of I could give it no stars thats what I would give them. The place is a dump with roaches crawling in the room. There was blood puddles that had dried on the stair case. The smell in the room would be better if they allowed smoking in there which they dont but says alot when smoking rooms always stink. This room smelled if urine when you turned the air conditioner on. Just plain disgusting and would never stay again. I would rather sleep on the side of hwy 35 in my car than to sleep in this hotel.
I would vote less than 1 star if I could and I’m a really nice person, but these crooks took my money twice. HEADS UP#1 their online site says check-in from 9-11 but that’s false. I recommend going to the place and checking first. After driving 10hrs and needing a place to rest in the am they informed me check in wasn’t until 2pm vs the 9am I thought I booked for. They don’t do refunds and good luck with trying to fix the issue online or by calling bc neither work.
My family and I stayed in waco for 1 night to see some sights on our way to the coast for vacation. Needless to say Im glad I brought extra sheets and blankets. There was no fitted sheet on the beds. Only 2 flat sheets and a blanket. The pillow cases were dirty and I doubt they had been washed. Dead flies laying all over the floor. We had noisy neighbors and apparently its a late night hangout because all you could hear outside was yelling and screaming all night long. I wouldnt recomend going outside at night unless your looking for trouble. The microwave in the room looked like it was pulled out of a dumpster. Although Check in was a breeze and we got our $50 deposit back within 24 hours, we definitely will find another place to stay next time.
We stayed here on our last night in America and it was a very refreshing feeling being treated so well by nice friendly staff. After staying at a bad hotel in New York previous. The room was good size and was clean there was a shuttle that would drop you down by the beach and the staff held our bags for us as we had a late night flight. Great service.
Im gonna drive all the back to Waco to get my $50 with a few friends from the health department, IRS and DEA. Full of roaches and disgusting bed spread. They ask for a $50 deposit and never give it back. Am seeking legal counsel right now. Stay away from there!
The reviews on Google are fake! Or for alternate locations. The receipt said it was actually Scottish Inn. The floor was sticky. The bathroom door needed to be replaced. Parking lot is full of holes. I saw bugs in the rooms. It wasnt super dirty, it just felt unclean because of needed updates. Bed wasnt very comfortable. It was a roku TV but it was not set up for live tv viewing. I feel like I was misled and even though I did not pay much for 2 nights, it still feels like I paid too much. I would never stay there again.
OH NO! NOT THE OYO!!! This is THE worst hotel in Waco! Absolutely horrid! Completely misguided pictures on the booking site. The place smelled like cigarettes and urine. If youre thinking about staying here, dont. Spend a few bucks more and stay next door at Red Roof. Stay anywhere but here for that matter. Nothing works except the hot water and even then, I had to fight the bugs for it. The WiFi went out the first day and when I called three times I was hung up on. This place is so bad that even Chip & Joanna wont buy it. This place is well on its way of becoming the Delta Inn of Waco. It doesnt even deserve the one star I gave it. I only gave it that so I could write this review. I will say only one thing thats good. Whoever they hired to photoshop those photos, did an excellent job.
Most of the people writing the reviews need to take a look at themselves. I can tell you without a doubt that from the owner of the Hotel to all the staff, they are doing an AMAZING job! Why? You would ask. Because they give their all 24/7 to have this hotel running with the short staff they have. Not because they don’t want to hire anyone else, but because people do not want to work. And again, how much are you guys paying for a night to stay here? Amd you want the stars and the moon? Let’s be realistic here. Stop saying non senses and speak the truth. God bless you all.
Unpleasant stay. Staff had unusual hours. Couldnt get extra towels due to housekeeping keeps banker hours? Woke up to step on a cockroach. Toilet paper had one use left and had to hunt down housekeeping. Fitted sheet to small. So, bring a sleeping bag. Called customer service number with issues and transferred me to front desk with no attendant. Rather sleep with the livestock.
Reception staff was excellent. Rooms were not ready when we arrived at noon so we left our luggage with front desk staff and went sightseeing. When we returned, the entire luggage had been put in our rooms. We had superior rooms 21 and 24 which were big and quiet. Both had great showers with excellent water pressure.
DO NOT TRY TO STAY HERE. We had a valid reservations through Hotels.com, and when we arrived at the hotel, the rude manager told us that they aint got no rooms. There was a sign that said no vacancy, but we booked our reservation over a week before we arrived. I recommend staying at a larger hotel in the outskirts of Waco for the same price. Not only were we turned away at OYO, they attempted to process an unjust $100 cancellation fee on our credit card.
My girlfriend bought the room online so we thought we would give it a try. As we pulled up we noticed it had a lovely exterior. We quickly got our room and discovered there was no phone or iron in the room. The tv didnt work and the free WiFi we were promised belonged to the hotel next door. We also noticed the room looked barley cleaned and smelled of smoke.we divided to shower and then went to eat dinner when we returned the water had been turned off with no warning. As the night progressed the worse it got. First the water then we had bugs crawling out of the electrical sockets it was so bad we had to leave the lights on to get any sleep. I will NEVER set foot in a hotel like this again!
They say dont judge a book by its cover, and they were right. This place may look a little rough on the outside, the insides are all remodeled and actually pretty nice. Especially for the price. Normally for that price you have burn holes in the blankets or something that is off putting.... But not this place. The staff are very friendly,l. The owner is great and was there to answer any questions I had and to reprogram keys. They have private security that actually rushed to help us unload groceries without even thinking twice. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a clean room for a good deal.
Wish i could give no stars that was hands down the nastiest filthiest hotel i have ever stayed at the flires would turn your feet or socks black within 5 min of walking on the floors the sheets had stains and holes on them and didnt look cleaned the air filter looked like it had never been changed before will never stay at this hotel again even if it was free
The one star is for the staff who did the best they could with what they had. The place was awful! I killed a live roach in the bathroom, there was no mini-fridge as the room listing says, there was no hair dryer so I had to go to my event with wet hair, the lights for the bathroom and vanity area didnt work most of the time, there was no phone, no iron, and the room smelled awful. I was also harassed by a man who said he was security, but was dressed in plain clothes and clearly high as a kite after I got back from my event. Never again!!!!
I will not stay there again! The room was clean but when you turn the lights out thats when the roaches come out! Are tv would not change channels ask the front desk for a different remote and didnt help so we only had one channel the hole stay. Not a good experience!
I made a reservation through Travelocity. I took a taxi to the hotel and arrived at 10:00 pm. I was told by the clerk- through the hole in the window that they did not have any rooms. She told me my reservation had been cancelled. I received an email to that effect at 10:18 pm. The clerk did absolutely nothing to help me find a room or solve the problem. while I was on my cell phone with Travelocity, another couple showed up having reserved a room through Orbitz. They were told the same thing. We went to the hotel next door which also was full but the person on duty did a search for rooms in the area and gave us some suggestions. OYO is a disaster. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews. I see that this is a common problem. I have called the customer service number that the night clerk wrote on a piece of paper and handed it through the hole in the window. There is no person that answers the phone. It tells you to use the chat service. I am reaching out to Travelocity to see why they would deal with such a company.
DO NOT SAY HERE! They are low life thieves with a staff that has the vocabulary or a third grade drop out. They will book the room, draft your card (non refundable regardless of what the website says) and not until you arrive do they mention the $50 deposit. I expressed to them that I had driven 3 hours for a funeral and didn’t have $50 she actually replied “tough - that’s life” and wouldn’t refund the cost of the room. I was appalled. She refused to talk to me any more.
DO NOT book thru third party website as this company does not yet have it set up correctly and will penalize you for their error. I made a reservation for a room, and they called me the day of, hours after check in, to let me know that the hotel was overbooked and they could neither accommodate me nor help me find accommodation. They still charged my CC for one nights stay and I have been trying to get a refund for the past MONTH. Every week their nice customer service reps tells me a different protocol and I see absolutely no evidence that there is a record for them to see everything previous CS personnel have done to help me. Zero results each time. Severely disappointed and will not ever book with them again. Two stars because the customer service folks are at least nice, although they have gotten absolutely nothing accomplished.

Worst place ever. Looks nothing like the pictures. I was supposed to check out on a Sunday today but they weren’t even open, and nor did they tell me. I can’t stay so I’m leaving. I’ll leave the key in the hotel room but this place is unprofessional, dirty. I get that it’s cheap but now I can’t get my deposit back because it isn’t open. How utterly ridiculous. Don’t bother booking here
I had booked a room online. When I got to the hotel they had a sign posted no vacancies. I called the number and no one answered. So, I called customer service and was told because I had cancelled it. Yes I cancelled because of no vacancies. Which didnt make sense. Luckily my card didnt read when I was doing it online (identity theft protection). So, I was told I could pay when I got there. Or, I probably wouldnt of got my money back.
We came here for a vacation in TX and stayed for 4 days. We stayed in a non-smoking room and it was clean.I was skeptical on the location and chose this place seeing good reviews. It was definitely worth the price. This place is on a busy road and safe location. The manager was very courteous and was ready to help when needed. He gave us a free upgrade on our arrival. Room was great with sheets and towels changed daily.
If I could give a negative star I would. I pre payed for a room for my 19 year old daughter and it route she was involved in an accident I asked for a refund and they refused even though nobody ever showed up to get access to the room especially it being an emergency they respond to bad this is such poor business practices beware of this hotel
Wish there was an option for zero stars and that would be generous. The 5 star reviews are FAKE. The view is of a highway under construction. The reception is not staffed after 10 PM. I booked room through OYO site and when I arrived at hotel no one was there and when I called the number on the door was told they overbooked and I should call OYO. I called OYO and they could do nothing for me. I ended up having to book last minute at a much more expensive hotel and paid more than if I would have booked with them originally. OYO left me in the middle of the night with no room and cost me extra money. Worst hotel experience ever and I plan to tell friends to stay away from OYO.
Stay away from this hotel! Check the profiles of the reviews, they are fake and are leaving the same review for every other Oyo hotel. I booked a room here and while I was on my way there, not even 15 minutes away driving in from Dallas, they called and said they overbooked. Apparently they only have like a handful of rooms available since they are renovating the other rooms, but they cant get their website to reflect that. I have been fighting with them for three weeks trying to get my refund which I still havent received. Good luck trying to get anything out of their outsourced call center.
No stars! We booked online days ahead, drove 2 hours and was told our room had been rented out and there were no more rooms available. She was rude and said it wasnt her problem and wouldnt give a refund. The next day they charged me for the room and a cancelation fee! Argued 3 times with their customer service, which was a joke, and still no refund!
An older building and it shows. could do with a chair in the room. internet was spotty later in the stay. bed was a foam mattress but felt better than a number of other places ive stayed at recently. room was cleaned every day after a pretty regular time. location not terribly great.
Found this place because Google and Priceline says pet friendly. Get there and was denied because I have a service dog (which is a pet). Not only was it false advertising, the front desk employee was extremely rude and tried to rattle off numbers too fast for corporate accompanied with rude attitude. Dont go if youre looking for somewhere worth your time. Remove false labels and hire more professional employees that can handle situations. Alma was one of the names and I dont feel bad for name dropping.
When we first checked in they gave us a room that was already occupied, then the next room wreaked of smoke. The person up front was a ray of sunshine as another guest put it (sarcastically). We cancelled due to their inability to provide a smoke-free room despite charging a $50 deposit.

I had a reservation at this hotel. I get to the hotel and they had gave my room away. They had no vacancy to offer as a replacement. Because it was a reservation, the room had been paid for and now it will take 7-14 days to get my money back. I had to spend more money and get a room at different hotel. OYO this is unacceptable. This place is horrible. I should have read the reviews BEFORE I made a reservation. They pre charged my credit card but did not reserve a room. I checked in the hotel next door with no problem and the desk clerk said he has had many customers just like me. Well worth the extra $25 to deal with a professional businessDo NOT recommend
This place is absolutely disgusting. Its infested with every type of bug possible. The glass windows are broken and cracked. There is no secondary source of locking the doors. They didnt even have a key to give us for the room. We ended up leaving. There is no way I would want even my enemy to stay there.
We booked a reservation for my daughter and infant at 10 am. After driving for hours to get here, they took her money as soon as it was booked but told her they didn’t have a room available to her. When I called the main oyo phone number the lady said they couldn’t get in contact with them and would send it to the escalation team. Meanwhile my daughter is stuck in Waco Texas at midnight with an infant without anywhere to stay and the lady on the phone refused to let me speak to a supervisor. They said the supervisor isn’t able to connect with customers. We paid for an entire week. This is theft.
I felt safe. I was traveling alone for work. The bedding and towels are very clean. The room kind of nasty the walls need painted or scrubbed I never could get Wi-Fi to work. But for the price I’m not complaining and I will stay there again
This place is exceptional, I dont know what all the fuss is all about. Yeah it aint perfect but its one of the cheapest in town and the inside is decent enough. What establishments like this dont have a few quirks. Lot of people got too much expectations and at home not that its any of my business there might be a few bugs time from time. They get ahold of a cheap price and expect it to be heaven where their headed. News flash wake up, You get what Im saying. The staff is helpful their normal people like everyone else with a life to take care of. A lot of these people complaining on here couldnt follow rules even if you paid them to do it. You cant tell them nothing because they actually believe the B.S. they say and could be far fetched from reality with the phrase THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
This was a clean, quiet hotel that for us was centrally located to the core of our vacation plans. Parking downstairs was convenient and included in the room price; we were right on a bus route to Waco Baylor Pier, etc. There is an on the corner which met our breakfast needs. All of the appliances worked. We were pleased with this establishment and if the need arises, we would return.
Has no one reported this place to to health department? Upon entering the building, there were many obvious health violations. Wish I could leave less than 1 star. I would have literally rather slept under a bridge than to have dealt with the staff (are cockroaches considered staff? If so, they are definitely over-staffed) at this facility. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Stayed here for 4 nights and was a great experience. Central location in old town, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was good, and the complimentary water throughout the day was a nice gesture in such heat. And the rooftop place was a welcome relief from the heat! Definitely stay here again..
I husband and 2 friends just came back from a stay at Waco Baylor Scottish inn hotel. Although it was under renovation this hotel is wonderful. It is very clean and the staff goes out of their way to be helpful. It had a very nice place with cabanas which we enjoyed. It was our first trip to TX but it wont be the last, and we will be sure to stay at Waco Baylor again. It is in the heart of everything
Came in at 2 am from a not so nice hotel, Staff immediately greeted us with a huge smile. He kept us from being left in the cold since our booking agent made a mistake with our reservation. He was very polite, professional and courteous to us. The room he provided was exactly what we needed to rest. The Waco Baylor hotel has a nice charm of the past and present. Thank you for taking us in and showing us great accommodations.
We stayed in Waco Baylor in Feb for 4 days. It was a very pleasant stay. The staff is really helpful. We were given an early check in. They have taxi services everyday which you can avail few of cost. It really helped us plan our travel efficiently.Excellent in every aspect; including reception, catering, room, value, concierge, cleanliness, friendliness of staff; location and general appearance. Have stayed at this hotel on previous occasions and intend to stay here again next year on our way to Texas
It was clean, people were friendly, price was amazing! Others were loud all night, but not a nuisance. No fridge, microwave, coffee pot, etc. But really cant beat it for the price! Had Directv, no ice, depends on your needs. It looked like they bought a rundown, red light motel and they are trying to turn it around.
We stayed here when we were holidaying last year. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the property is well maintained. The hotel is just off Scottish inn so many attractions and restaurants were within close walking distance. We upgraded to a room with a view and had a great view of the Scottish inn hills.
Roaches ran everywhere soon as the lights came on!!! They crawled out of the remote onto my hands and I HAD to leave. There were a few in the crevices of the ceiling over the bed, I could just feel one was already crawling into my ear when I seen it, wasnt gone wait to wake up to that. When I dropped the remote from the crawl feeling on my hands which fell on the bed, roach itty bitty droppings fell out like, if I shook it to see more Im sure it would have been a remote full of roach mess. My husband was not pleased and Im not happy with the fact they dont refund your money knowing better darn well they should. .. BUGS BUGS BUGS bug
The worst motel room weve seen. Ideal location for attending the football game. This was our first Oyo chain experience. It will be our last. Furniture is dirty, extremely worn. Fixtures are broken, lose. Holes in walls. Totally unsat.
No tv remote, Wi-Fi is not good. No telephone to call front desk, no fire detectors, jus ripped out the wall. And couldn’t get my $50 deposit until 9am I checked out at 5:30 am had to drive from Austin bacc to Waco to get my deposit a waste of gas.
We enjoyed our stay at the Interstate Waco Baylor immensely! The service was wonderful and hotel staff helpful. We ate at both Public and 25 Degrees. The food and the service were great. The experience gives a glimpse of old Interstate glamour. The hotel lobby is exquisite. It is located in the heart of Interstate with easy access to other parts of the city. I recommend this hotel to anyone for the Interstate experience! I will be back again.
The room was filthy, hair all over the sinks and the bathtub, open soap on the edge of the tub, floors took multiple lysol wipes to clean the dirt from the floor, staff said we were trippin with our understandable complaints. Absolute joke. Its Motel 6 with a different name. Do not book here if you have any other choice. Oods are out cant be worse.
Ridiculous experience. bought online, once there, staff demanded cash deposit. did not have cash. they started copying personal information in 2 areas without consent. after discussing this and telling them I didnt want that, as their form did not have a place for it, they refused my stay, then said they were going to keep my funds for the room! ridiculous, absolutely do not recommend!
The room was out of range of the free wifi. They charged me a 50 dollar deposit that tool three days to refund. When i checked my account for the refund i saw that they had charged me again for the room price plus deposit. I have been emailing them to fix my account and havent gotten a response in 2 days. I made a reservation from home for a nonsmoking, and the first smell we notice entering the room was weed and cigarette; the web page said that the breakfast was included, which is a total scam; the information page says that this hotel was safe for kids; I DO NOT THINK SO; also they ask for a deposit in case someone smoke inside the room????
I booked a room a week in advance, when I arrived I was told that they would not know if they had a room until everybody that needed to check out had checked out. I was told that they regularly overbook the rooms and they did not know if they had a room for me or not. I was advised to call customer service and then the number I called did not even worked. I had to call information to get customer service and then I got UK customer service and they told me that I had to contact the United States and the number they gave me-you guessed it, it was the original number I had and again, no one answered, heck it would not even ring-just hung up on me every time I called.
I was liking this hotel due to inexpensive hotel and most economic out in Waco, Texas. So my husband did online booking for a Monday until Saturday due to out of town work and he needed a hotel unfortunately in his work they tell him on Friday that there was no work Saturday so he told the manager that the day he didn’t use could use it for Monday of next week anyways my husband needed to go back to Waco, and the manager told oh yeah sure and even writes a note on the paper of the down deposit policy $50. And my husband is happy because the manager was nice so TODAY my husband calls me and tells me that the manager no longer wants to give him a room due to availability so why in the world would the manager agree in the first place with my husband. OYO WE NO LONGER YOUR CUSTOMERS BECAUSE y’all don’t take priority in your customers WE’RE NO LONGER BOOKING WITH YALL!!!
We stayed at the Hotel Waco Baylor last year and it was our favorite then, so when we decided to come back to Frontage Rd this year we scheduled our stay for when we could book a room here. Not disappointed at all with this lovely and small hotel. The staff is first rate and seems more like a family with all their warmth and helpfulness..
The bath/shower did not work properly, there was roaches and wasps. The only person whose does their job right was the cleaning lady. The front desk does not answer the phone. They did not check us out of our stay when we left early and are not responding to corporate. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
Shave gel and beard hairs were left all over the sink. Toilet had brown streaks in it. Used soap bar was left on on the side of the tub. Used a dozen lysol wipes to make a clean path on the floor. Asked for refund and was told no that we were tripping.
Ive stayed here a couple of times. Never had a problem. Very clean rooms. Very clean sheets. It smells clean! The Desk clerk was very polite, and took care of my needs in a short amount of time. The price was the cheapest in town!
I have spent a week at a time on two separate occasions. The hotel is quiet and safe. The management is very friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good room without the need for place/spa/gym.
The room smelled like smoke and the sheets had lots of stains. Bathroom has missing tiles along with lots of grime. Dead bugs are common. 0/5 do not recommend this place.
I would only stay here one night if I absolutely had to The front desk was in a bad mood that night. The room seemed outdated, with barely enough USB ports. Cats running around the property. Not easily accessed if traveling northbound i-35. Drug paraphernalia can be seen.
Beautiful view of the central from our rooftop terrace room. Lovely touches like some sparkling wine the night of our arrival, all the cold sparkling and still water you could drink (it was very hot), and chocolates and turndown service before bed made us feel spoiled. The variety of hot and cold items in the breakfast was a great start to the day, and the afternoon tea would hold us over.
2* instead of one because the system didnt register the correct dates and the receptionist worked with me on it.HOWEVER upon walking into the room#1 the light switch does nothing. I dont even know why its there. You have to fumble around in the dark to find the bathroom or bedside lights.#2 the roku TVs are usless without signing into your own netflix account after hotspotting the TV from your phone#3 The lobby closes at 10pm, when I called he gave me a spiel on why they close the lobby instead of just coming to check me in.#4 Finally, I have not given my phone # to anyone other than these people because they require it to book online. NOW, literally the day after staying there, I have received NINE spam calls! They sold my number! I wish I could report them for that alone! I usually only get one or two calls a month, not NINE (9) in a SINGLE day.Best thing about this place is the cute little kitty that roams around!
This is the WORST HOTEL EVER, PLEASE READ REVIEWS!!!!! Basically a trap house, slash brothol! They let you book on an hotel app, then you get there and realize its trash you cancel and are stuck with $153, The perfect Con from the owner, read reviews has happened more than ones! I recently spent 4 days at Waco Baylor Waco Baylor and booked it as a result of other comments. I was not disappointed. This is a wonderful accommodation right behind the Dolby Theatre where the Academy Awards are held and in a very safe area. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Best employee would have to be Patricia who helped us every day with the breakfasts.
There were bugs everywhere, the door to the room barely stayed shut and the entire place smelled of smoke & weed. The smell and the room were so bad that we had to leave at 1 am to go to another hotel...would not recommend.
I was forced to book the day before arrival and the hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. This was a business trip and this hotel met our needs very well. When many Best Westerns have free breakfast this one does not as it has an attached and the food is very good there.
Well folks I think I found it ! The worlds first motel without a coke machine ! Theyre also the first that I have seen that charge a fifty dollar deposit upon admission....Attendant also explained to me that room is strictly nonsmoking and informed that even smoking outside the door could let smoke in room and that the maid can smell a cig up to a mile away (which translates to waving goodbye to your deposit)Fyi.-- No ice, no attendant at night, and apparently someone has peed in the maids bowl of cereal everyday that I know of.
Payed for 2 nights , didnt even last a whole night. Door lock didnt work at all & the lady up at the office was rude about helping us getting in. We left for a little while and came back and no one was in the office to help us get into our room.. No number to call or anything.
Made a reservation online once I got there they said they had rooms but once I told them I had a reservation they changed to not having any. Also they told me they would wave the cancelation fee and they had only charged me $1 and they had I checked but as soon as I made it to a different hotel they charged the cancelation fee for the same amount the night was.
They require you to make reservations online or over the phone and push you to pay in advance--even though youve paid in full, in advance - they will give your room away.They require a reservation, but whats the point- a reservation wont guarantee you a room.
Economic Stay for Price The Restroom was Very Clean and Shower was also (pet peeve) No Iron or Blow Dryer Did have a Fridge Floors were nice instead of Carpet Not to Fond of All Glass windows but was there when it was cold and heater worked Great Close to Silos and Anything Else in Waco.
Excellent Hotel, Lovely room, very spacious, and great location, however be aware that the food and drink are not cheap. Our first time in Scottish inn and the location was great. Just a short walk to the Scottish inn Walk in city. Would stay here again.

He gave us great advice on places to visit and how to get there. He shared his Singapore experiences which gave us better insight.
Upon arrival, I was told they were full even though I had a reservation. Reservation made online so was told I would have to get refund through online. But how? Cheap hotel and looked it from what I saw, but never got to a room.
Employees were for the most part nice, everything is outdated except the plugs for your phone. Half of it worked, half doesn’t. The cover of fan in the bathroom is hanging down. You get what you pay for when you stay here. CHEAP!
What a great stay at the Waco Baylor Hotel and blond made it just that extra special. Staff is a wonderful staff member we will return to visit next time in Waco Baylor. Always smiling and charming. Our stay exceeded our expectations and highly recommended the Waco Baylor hotel

I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is dirty and infested with roaches. I packed my things and left as soon as I saw them crawling everywhere. I tried to report it to management and customer service. Apparently the owner of this place doesn’t care about the conditions of his hotel at all. He refused to refund me for the room even though I didn’t stay there. Please do not even think about staying here.

I booked a room through super travel. When I tried to check in the lady at the front desk was super rude and told me the hotel was over booked and she issued a refund authorization. Super travel then said that the hotel was not over booked and I did not get a refund. So I paid for a hotel room I did not get to stay in. Stay away from this hotel and super travel

The hotel location so so so accessable for me and my family for sightseeing traveled by subway train, public and hop on busses. Our meals almost all at around the hotel areas as they have plenty of restaurants chinese, korean foods. The hotel staff very friendly and even free signed up membership for me that i can book for my friends or family with discounted rate. Hoping they can offer more discount for my future bookings..

The hotel charges a security deposit that is not automatically refunded unless the client requests it within 30 days. The room had roaches and they kept the extra $50 deposit.

Was pretty clean, and quiet, just wish after u keep everything clean and follow rules, that they would actually give your 50 deposit back after checkout. But they keep your deposit anyway
It was good until the house keeper gave my money to the wrong person.. then the front desk was blaming me for that I had a guy in the room and I didn’t.
Nearly a month had passed, still have not been credited my deposit. I sent am email as instructed and never received a reply. Ill never stay here again!
Excellent hotel, close to central and all amenities (bars I mean) lovely room nice buffet breakfast. No bar in the hotel but did not matter because so many bars close to the hotel. afternoon tea was a nice touch.
Rooms were not good, the room we had at first the air did not work the second room had good air. The picture is deceiving on the web sit.I would not recommend staying there at all.

I make a reservation on Tuesday night and when I got to the hotel the lady told me everything was full so I told her that I made a reservation online and that I need a refund and it still not showing in my account its showing that they accept the money so I need my money back as soon as possible because I never stayed in the hotel

This is a very nice place to stay. I stay here always when in southern cal. this place is always clean and refreshing. Place is kept clean and the people that work there are super friendly. You will be satisfied with your stay. This is the closest place to stay to cal state Northridge.
Every review here is an account that only reviews OYO properties. You could not pay me to stay at such a fraudulent business. Who knows what other laws and regulations theyre breaking. Hardest of hard passes.

Management is super rude waited 20 mins for someone to show up and tell me there’s a $50 deposit no one told me they can enter your room whenever u want asked management not if possible and all they said was no. It was horrible, spiders in bathroom, tv wasn’t working cigarette burns in table no chair to sit on , changed room they sent me to one smelled like cigarette, burns on table dirty toilet , plus I had to pay a deposit of 50 dollars I wasn’t told about when I made reservations, jhavent seen my deposit refund yet it was a horrible stay but out of money to stay anywhere else had to post one star just to get this posted
Booked room from internet for a set price. When arriving was told it would be 3 times the booking fee. This is not satisfactory customer service. Did NOT stay and will not recommend.
I got a room online. Came to check in and they said they didnt have a reservation for me but they could sure take my money. So I had to have someone else pay for room until they refunded me my money.

My parents had to drive 35 miles from Waco to get a room because when they called to book the room the morning of their trip they said it was reserved but when they got their it was sold out from underneath them and then they try to hold the money for 7 days so if ur lookin for a room go somewhere else this place is a rip off

Please read reviews from expedia and trip advisor. The google ones are FAKE. I made a huge mistake and thought I could trust the high google rating without reading them. Lesson learned!
