Happy Head Foot Reflexology and Massage - Chula Vista at Terra Nova Plaza

It was my 1st time here and was just searching for a nearby massage place. My 1st time and it was excellent!! I love the Swedish massage that was given to me. All body parts were evenly given time and felt my muscle knots loosen up. It’s also clean which is a plus points. I will be back here again for sure! Felt so relax and good.

IT’S A NO FOR ME DAWG! 5 stars for ambience and cleanliness and the welcoming receptionist.Massage experience: I’ve had my share of massages from Swedish to Thai to cupping to fancy day-spas etc etc and this was NOT relaxing whatsoever. The gentleman (I use the term gentle lightly) was rough and the repetitive pressure (I’d say a good 10-15 times each area) was way toooo fast and quite frankly annoying!! Maybe just maybe it would have been a better experience with another therapist but unfortunately my first experience was a bad seed.

I’ve gone to happy head on Terra nova many times over the years. But my massage today was just okay. I paid extra for an extended massage time plus the use of CBD oil; however, the massage ended a little over ten minutes early and I was told I couldn’t keep the rest of the oil I paid for because it had been thrown away. It’s the little things that keep people coming back or not.

First time here since we just moved from Hawaii and my husband and I found this nearby massage place. It was amazing!! For the price of their massages and the massage therapists took their time with each area and did not rush anything, we came out feeling new, relaxed and all around good. Recommend this place and will be back soon!

I had one of the best massages in my life at the happy head foot reflexology! The place is clean and peaceful! The stuff is Knowledgeable and professional! I highly recommend this place!

Ossydey the massage therapist is the bomb!! I just realized that I could tell the receptionist what I want the masseuse to focus on and holy cow best decision I ever made! They spent more time on the areas of focus and used different techniques than the regular routine. I recommend the foot massage, its in a community room, but its very relaxing and your clothed. The environment is very welcoming and always clean❣️

I went for a Swedish massage, and my husband had a deep tissue. The older gentleman that did mine put way too much pressure on my spine rather than the muscles around it and ended up causing a lot of pain, especially after it was all done. When it came to massaging my face, he mostly just smacked my forehead. I wasnt relieved of much tension and left hurting. My husband mostly enjoyed his massage. However, his leg hair was balled up in multiple spots, and he said the gentleman who did his massage dug his nails into his back multiple times. Im really disappointed, especially with having paid $180 plus tip for the both of us.A plus side is my mom, who also had a deep tissue massage, said she really enjoyed hers. I suppose it all just depends on the masseuse.

Happy Head Massage is one of the best massage places I have ever been to, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating massage experience. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is calm and soothing, and the staff is friendly and professional.The massage therapists are highly skilled and knowledgeable, and they really take the time to listen to your needs and preferences. They use a variety of techniques and pressure levels to help relieve tension and soreness, and they are always willing to adjust their approach to ensure that you get the most out of your massage. The facility is clean, modern, and comfortable, and they offer a variety of services including Swedish, deep tissue, all with CBD oil. They also offer complimentary wine while you wait in the lobby.

Been there twice, once for an Asian massage and once for a Swedish massage. Both times had a great experience. The place is clean, however it would be nice if they added a nice scent. The girl in the front is super helpful, just tell her what you want and she will mark it on the paper. I always give a $20 tip when I get massages (at any establishment) since I know most of the workers income comes from their tips.

This place is awesome!! My husband and I loved it. My husband got a deep tissue massage and I got an Asian massage. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was very welcoming and kind. While I was getting my massage my masseuse made sure I was relaxed and comfortable and made sure I was happy with his massage. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who is interested in a massage.

This place is amazing. From the moment I stepped in the facility, I was greeted by Julianna with a bright smile and charming personality. I felt taken care of as soon as I walked in..to the minute I walked out. Shes my favorite. No other Happy Head has given me this experience. Thank You. It really goes a long way. Also, the massage therapist went in!! I’m currently recovering from an injury and every time I go I feel like a whole new man! I will definitely be back for more! 🙌🏽

Hifhly reccommend. Have had many massages over the years. Peter gave me the best EVER. Got deep tissue, his techniques were very unique. Stretches and worked out kinks & spasms in neck, shoulders, sciatica, lower back. Amazing!

I really enjoyed the massage which i have been here many times , but this time it was different the services was different and i really liked it and this time i brought my parents and paid for their massages. Everything was good but as soon as i left a tip they told me that they have a suggestion chart which is between 10-15 dollars. I left less than that and the therapist made rude faces and left us feeling uncomfortable , my parents and i didnt know about this new suggestion chart which i get it but it is not professional to react like that in front of customers , the receptionist was nice and told us that we are good to go. But then when we left , one of the therapist went outside and started smoking and he kept staring at us until we left the place. I felt very uncomfortable our intention was not to make them feel like this since i paid for their services and paid extra for oils. i am not a person that leaves comments or says something since there is no point but since it was the first time for my parents i felt that i need it to say something.

Worst massage experience ever! This was my first time here (invited by a friend) but this was not my first massage. I requested the Swedish massage. The massage therapist was extremely rough, even after the fact I told her to go softer. Instead of me leaving this place all relaxed like one should, I left feeling sore and in pain. I would have complained to the receptionist (since the therapist didn’t speak any English) but I was with a group of friends and in a hurry to get to a dinner reservation. However I called the next day for a refund because I was unable to sleep that night due to the pain and I woke up with bruises on my back. Management refused to grant my request for a refund because the service had been “completed” yeah completed incorrectly; which was not what I paid for. I didn’t pay $70 to be left in pain and bruised. Never going here again nor do I recommend anyone else too.

Do not come here. I had the most awkward and uncomfortable massage of my life. This lady jammed her elbows into my spine and left me laying on the table with a wet towel on my back. She also followed me out the door breathing down my neck to give her a tip. The little girl at the front desk also forced me to take cash out of an ATM. And when I tried to tip $5 (which she didn’t even deserve because the massage was so bad) she told me the minimum tip I have to give is $10. How are you going to tell ME to do with MY money? Never coming back.

I wish they offered more custom massage but for the convenience and price, I give them 5 stars. Its always clean and you dont have to wait weeks for an appt.

Stopped here for a quick massage for my self care night. It was a good experience for the price! I especially loved the head/scalp massage. This might not be the best place in the world but I left feeling happy and relaxed. Inside was clean and pretty. Ill go back!

Hello, not trying to be rude or anything but this experience was particularly odd...went in today for a walk-in which was awesome but I didn’t know who or what gender my masseuse was until I was already in the room ready on the table. No introduction, just “hello” wasn’t asked about any particular spot that was hurting she just went right into it and was so rough I felt like I was getting beat up and was super tense the whole time..felt like she was dry rubbing my scalp and grabbing my skin plus bone on bone contact with full force. I’ve never had a massage quite like this one so I feel like I need to say something. The girl was nice but I felt like this could have been her first day. Then at the end she waited behind me as I was pulling money out of the atm waiting for her tip...just an overall weird, painful experience.

We always have a great experience at Happy Heads. We decided to try the new location in the Terra Nova plaza which is conveniently close to us. Once again we are satisfied with the service and hospitality of the staff and the masseuses. They all made us feel comfortable and our massages were amazing. Good job 👍 another happy couple

I usually go to the Bonita place but because it was closed, I went to that place. I dont recommend ! I took as usual the swedish massage (supposed to be soft) and it was a nightmare ! After 3 minutes, I said to the therapist to do my massage a way softer and repeated it 10 times! Then the guy turn on the light and told me yes but you said pressure on your back ... Yes I saif pressure not to hit my back !!! I left full of pain ! The morning after, my husband was crazy because I had echymosys on my back ! I complained woth pictures but, when I got an answer 3 days after, it was supposed to be normal and because I never have massage (the last one I had was 2 months before...) And it was a normal thing. 2 weeks after, I asked to talk to a manager and the lady explained it s normal (my fault ?) But because I complain a lot, she will give me a refund on my gift card ... Refund I never had ! I still have pain on my back and still wake up every night after 4 hours in my bed because of the pain ! I already spent $300 for medicines and chiropractor appointment!!!! So if you want a real massage and relax, go somewhere else !!!!

I have been dealing with shoulder pain for months and Tom at Happy Head is a miracle worker. I am sore but I can actually make use of my left without shoulder pain. Thank you

Ive had great massages here..today I tried cbd Swedish it was amazing.. Im baffled how some reviews say deep tissue Swedish massage those are two entirelyDifferent modalities COMPLETE OPPOSITE.. Swedish is light... deep tissue is DEEP self explanitory... Ive had many many massages this place is legit... love it.

I came in to address a very tense upper back And recovery from childbirth. I went with Noelle’s(receptionist) suggestion of the deep tissue massage. She paired me with Lillie and it was everything I could’ve asked for! Head-to-toe deep tissue, effective and mindful. Lillie was very professional and very thorough. She even stretched my limbs...heaven! My back is much straighter. Can’t wait to return. Thank you to both Noelle and Lillie.*edit: it is a pattern that staff waits for tip and reacts tired and unamused no matter the amount of tip. They don’t tell you until the end that tip is not added on card.

The price here is pretty good, But I can tell that the person that gave me a massage is not a massage therapist. It felt great but I could tell the person wasnt trained well. I could be wrong but they is just the way it seemed to me.

Loved it! I had neck and back pain, but with their CBD ointment plus amazing massage, I felt much better. The person that I had was professional and he did a good job. 👍

Terrible massage and the gentleman was sick and coughing on me the entire time then gave me attitude about the tip I gave him. He was not trained!! Management didnt even care about my complaints.

The message was painful. I found myself wishing it was over. When I said what region I needed him to concentrate on, he didnt understand me, or ignored me. I spoke up several times. Either way, he glossed over the region that I needed help with; it was the entire reason I made the emergency appointment. When I would jump in pain and tell him he was hurting me, he would giggle at me, or make noises such as, Tsss, brushing it off. It was very uncomfortable. I will not be returning.

Went in for an hr massage which was ok, nothing great. Therapist didnt speak English or understand when I ask for more pressure. Give her a $15 tip and she made a face of dislike and said some in chinese with a rude tone. I think her name was Sarah

Came in for a couples massage and as soon as I walked in I felt a very good friendly vibe. The receptionists Noelle was super nice and my therapist was Hawk which did a super great job didn’t want to get up at the end I was soooo relaxed!

I go to happy head frequently ussually the one in bonita but since they were fully booked called this branch instead been here once before with my husband luckily enough they had an opening proceeded to book an asian fusion massage with my friend the therapist i got did not understand me and i couldnt understand him that being said my friend speaks mandarin and she couldnt translate either he didnt warn me of what to do next i just felt man handled so when we were tipping ($10 each) the receptionist let us know that are therapist was asking for more since its a 90 min massage ($99) and that its RECOMMENDED 15-20$ i kinda felt that was very unprofessional and after we exited the building my therapist was outside smoking and just giving me a look i dont think ill come back to this branch its kinda sad cause i like the services

Ruby was very good with my deep tissue massage. HIGHLY Recommend if only you can handle real deep tissue massage.

All the staff i have had giving me a massage each has their own technique and style of applying the massage and always find the knots.

Honestly this is insane, I waited and knocked 5 times on their door the lobby empty I called like literally empty. I wonder if the owner knows the front desk girl left the lobby unattended for that long. It was 15 min!
