From the moment I walked up to Spa Royale I could hear soft, soothing sounds and music. I walked in and greeted by Lina who was delightfully. She offered me a hot towel while I waited. Since it was my first time she offered me a tour of the spa area.The spa area is large with lots of space to kick up your feet and relax before and after having a massage, either with refreshing fruit infused water and snacks. You get a locker , with a code to hold all your personal belongings. Complimentary robe and sandals await in your locker.My masseuse Serena was extraordinary! I have a 90 minute massage which I drifted away into. She was able to tackle all my problem areas and release some tension, mostly my back. Finished off my time in an infrared sauna. Not too hot and tolerable for healing. I will definitely be coming back 💖

Great experience at Spa Royale. Have now visited several times for massage services and been pleased each time. Brennan is great for a deep tissue therapeutic massage, highly recommend! Facility is always clean and well kept, staff is pleasant and professional.

Jessica is the best! I got eyelash extensions for the first time and she made everything as seamless as possible. She was professional and informative, and customized my eyelashes perfectly. I can’t wait to come back for my next appointment.

Super relaxing, from entering to leaving. Brendan was very professional and respectful. He did exactly what I wanted and needed. I did not want deep tissue massage and the pressure he applied was perfect. This was my very first experience anywhere and I will, hopefully, return, according to finances.

Staff was professional, polite, and accommodating. Spa is very clean, relaxing, and well appointed with bathrobes, towels, toiletries. I had a wonderful massage by Brenden today. I appreciated how professional and attentive he was. He had a warm demeanor and the massage pressure was perfect. The services were 5 star. But the experience and vibe checking in was lack luster. If I am paying $250 for a massage and $120 for a pedicure the staff should be more attentive. Front desk people did not give a warm welcome. They did not offer to show us around or get us settled in at our lockers. I get treated better at Massage Envy! But again the massage and pedicure were wonderful.

The facility is beautiful, the service of the massage I wasnt impressed with! I got a gift card from my boss so I thought never been there haven’t heard of that place! I understand why now! This girl will be sticking to West Health Spa which is always an amazing experience when u are finished!

It has been a long time since I treated myself to a spa day. I purchased the Pure Bliss package - massage, facial and pedicure. Brenden, my masseuse, exceeded my expectations with his caring manner. David did my facial and it was a real treat. Michelle performed my pedicure. My feet felt so refreshed afterward. I took Davids advice and got sparkly purple polish on my toes. I already have an appointment for another pedicure next month. This is a great place and the whole staff makes you feel special.

Taylor and David were amazing! After weeks of being in the hospital I was mentally and physically well over due for some RnR and celebrate my 30th birthday! This facility exceeded any and all expectations! Timely, gentle and efficient very clean and comfortable environment with a customer service driven attitude! The best way spend the day and I can’t wait to return! Thank you to all staff involved with my experience and helping bring me back to life!

I am amazed by the amenities at Spa Royale. Nothing else like it in Gainesville! But beyond that, my Massage Therapist, Loren, was BEYOND exceptional! After she performed a thorough intake, she gave one of the most incredible massages I’ve ever received. She listened so well during that intake that I didn’t have to say a word during the entire 90min session. It was like her hands were communicating directly with my muscles & I was able to completely let go, relax, & meditate on my breathing. Can’t wait for my next session!

For my birthday (July 4th) I treated myself to the sampler package and Jacarei was AWESOME with the targeted shoulders/neck massage. My facial, mani and pedi was superb and my only complaint about the relaxing room is I didnt have enough time to spend there! And for the first time in my life - I feel asleep when someone was doing my pedicure - like Im completely shocked! If you have never had a pedicure there - I will not spoil it for you - just go try it and you will understand!

I have been to this spa about 4 times now, and I have to say all of my treatments have been fantastic. The spa it self is not particularly luxurious but they manage to procure a relaxing environment nonetheless. I agree with some other reviewers that for the price it could certainly…more.The stars are based primarily on the services!Today I had a massage with Jachari(I hope I’m spelling that right). I’ve had others but he’s really stood out! He is kind, very professional, always checking to be sure the pressure is adequate, makes great use of the time. Personally, my back is very tense so most therapists get preoccupied with that and then rush through my limbs, but he gave all the limbs a proper massage as well! He has great flow and with his communication and open friendly personality, he is really able to give you the right pressure where you need it!Also of note, he keeps the dialogue about the massage if there is dialogue at all! I don’t know what it is about me but I have had MANY of my massage therapists, most actually, find my $150+ massage as a time for them to open up…. As much as I am here for my fellow human, and I would never tell someone who is confiding in me to stop talking, my massage is a sacred place in time that I have carved intentionally to relax. It feels like Jachari completely understands that and respects his customer/patients desire to relax and disconnect. I felt like the time was about me and my relaxation and for that I am very very grateful. 100/10 stars for Jachari! Perfect everything, thank you ☺️ 🤌🏼🙏🏻.

I love this place! My husband and I went there for a couples massage to celebrate our anniversary. Dawn was my massage therapist and she was amazing! Dawn is the first person to identify the issues and work towards resolving them. I am joining the wellness plan so I can continue working with her. I had a massage and facial the week before my wedding. And a pedicure the week of my wedding. The service was amazing from front desk check in to my therapists to check out. They gave me a gift and were so friendly in one of the busiest times in my life. I will be returning!

Let me start by saying Kirstie is an Angel. I received a gift card from my son. I’ve never been to a spa before. I decided to get a pedicure. It was amazing. If that’s what Heaven feels like I want to stay for eternity. I was so relaxed and Kirsten made me very comfortable and did a beautiful job on my toes. I can’t imagine anyone going to any other place than Spa Royal.

Jessica is the best! I was leery of anything new, like tinting my eyebrows. But she gently explained the procedure and the potential benefits, and then left it to me to think about until my next visit. When I decided to try it, I was amazed. I look so much better! Thank you, Jessica!😃

My wife and I scheduled a couples massage for our anniversary. They greeted us quickly and we were taken to separate dressing rooms where we were given robes and fresh fruity water to enjoy. We were then taken to our combined room where we received a fabulous massage. Our massage therapists asked us several questions prior so as we can receive the best treatment. Afterwards there was no attempt to sell us products or any other treatments which made us feel very relieved and even further relaxed. The checkout was also very swift and positive. My wife has joined their wellness program and we are both looking forwards to more visits in the future. They also offer a large selection of skin card products as well as candles for aroma therapy.

My hubby gifted me an appointment to kick off the summer break. The staff was very nice and the place was beautiful. The massage was really good and helped with the stress that Ive been carrying around for months.

Great service, friendly staff, and an adorible Cafe with hammocks to relax! I recommend they offer a menu of options upon arrival to educate customers on their options for add ons. Ill definitely be back.

We did a couples message and each of our messages exceeded our expectations. Both therapist spent time working on problem areas and checked with us regularly to make sure the pressure used was adequate and not too much. Excellent messages!!

Very nice, relaxing experience. Serene atmosphere. Enjoyed the facial. My only complaint was the stairs. I have bad arthritis in my knees and had to go up and down multiple flights of stairs. Ouch!

I have had a few spa services at Spa Royale through the years but recently tried a wax, tint and lamination with Jessica. Walking into the spa is like walking into a vacation at a 5 star resort. You are immediately greeted and welcomed. Jessica is wonderful, precise and professional.

First time I have visited this Spa I received a gift card for my birthday. My therapist, Anthony, was excellent. He was punctual, professional and addressed all of my needs and he gave me the best message Ive had in my life! 🏆🎖. I highly recommend that you book an appointment with him today. He isnt hard on the eyes either, ladies, lol. 😎. But, seriously, its a beautiful location and the massage was great. I left feeling very relaxed and wanting to come again soon.

David is excellent. He is pleasant professional therapist. He takes his time explaining everything beforehand, makes you comfortable and provides a thorough, professional massage. He identified my pressure points without my saying anything and gave them extra attention. When work brings me back to Gainesville I am definitely paying him another visit.

The decor and buildings are beautiful and very clean. I felt relaxed and comfortable. I didnt particularly like climbing stars to get to the services due to knee pain. Also, I was very disappointed to find out that my assigned massage therapist is allergic to all essential oils!! This was an unwelcome surprise and their were no other therapists available. Overall, I would like to come again.. and ensure that I have the appropriate MT that can handle essential oils.

Have a membership (been loyal for better part of 5 years) - which now I’m considering canceling after this most recent massage.Towards the end of my massage, a jarring static came over the speakers. I halfway expected someone to change the song or turn it down, as it was extremely loud and completely broke me out of the zen. Nope. They let it play for like 5 minutes until the next song came on.When I mentioned it to the person at checkout, he told me I was wrong and that it was “ocean waves”. No. It was static. It was NOT ocean waves. He was rude and got an attitude with me. Look, it was awful and if y’all are aware of how terrible that noise is, the fact that it wasn’t shut off is unacceptable.This is not the customer service I expect from this establishment and I hope it’s corrected.

The Island Body Wrap with Serena was the best spa service I’ve ever had. It was 90 minutes of pure bliss and worth every penny, especially the ice orb facial massage at the end!

My husband and I celebrated our 42nd anniversary with couples massage. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Spa Royale. The staff was so welcoming and massage therapists Cierra and Brenden made sure we both were comfortable. I absolutely LOVE IT.

It was my first time at this spa and I was impressed. It had beautiful decor and was peaceful. My massage therapist really listened and addressed the areas that needed the most attention. It was a fabulous experience!

I’ve been here twice before and saw 2 different masseuses and they were both great. Today I added the Bamboo Fusion and wow! It was absolutely amazing! To get to relax in a quiet room afterwards is also a delight!

I got a massage from Dawn last week. The massage was awesome. I have an injury and she attended to my injury and made suggestions. I really recommend going to Dawn.

I was debating between three and four stars. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Check-in is great. Making an appointment is so easy. The lounge is serene. My only problem This time was with my therapist. She did a good job, but at the halfway point of the massage, she lifted the back of the table up to Massage The front. I think you should really ask somebody before you put them up like that. I have very bad vertigo and I’m seeing a surgeon for a back injury. I was so nauseous when I went up so quickly, it took everything I had not to throw up. When I was done with my massage, I could barely stand. I had to go in the lounge and sit down for a while. I was so dizzy and sick. While I was in the table in the upright position, my back was killing me. I don’t put my back that way ever. When I was leaving the girl who checked me out, said I had that look, you know the one you feel sometimes after a massage, however, it was, because of how sick I felt from being lifted on that table. It felt like motion, sickness when you’re on a roller coaster, and you move up real fast , I sat in the car for almost an hour trying to feel better. I thought she was going to put me back down after she massaged my neck but she didn’t. The end of the massage was horrible because of that positioning. Normally, I’ve never been put in that position and then I would be giving it five stars.

I just love spa royale. They are so kind here. The honeybee cafe is the best coffee in Gainesville and I stand by that. They use a special bean and it is so smooth and everytime the coffee is delicious. Nowhere else has good coffee that I can drink it seriously is the best! It’s smooth and creamy and they have a variety of menu. I come here a few times a week just because it’s that good. The estheticians are also the best in town, they are amazing at eyebrows. Everything is good here.

Edit: Spa Royale is still amazing! I went yesterday for a manipedi with Kortney and she was everything I’ve ever missed in a nail artist. Other salons have made my nails weaker, made my cuticles bleed, and shaped my nails wrong. Kortney have my nails her full attention, and she was gentle and precise. She shaped them PERFECTLY. Exactly like the picture I brought. We went with a nail strengthener for my fingernails since I’m trying to grow them, and this cute blue on my toes. Plus, the zero gravity chairs are awesome!!I’ve been coming to Spa Royale for my semiannual pampering for a few years now. I’m always impressed with their array of products and services. The quality of the services I’ve had - mainly massages and facials - have always made my day (and week) better! I would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a day getaway or just a quick pick me up. I really appreciate their attention to detail as well, reception is always friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks in this nice low voice that contributes to the atmosphere. It may be a little thing but I always love to be in a nice quiet place! I LOVE their new building and will definitely be returning for years to come.

This spa lives up to its name of very best in Gainesville! My MT, Jachari was amazing and paid close attention to every area of my body during my service with the perfect pressure for tension relief and I have had countless massages. The spa was perfectly priced, incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and you could tell the staff felt proud to be there. It was like being in someones luxury home. I am still in total zen and relaxation mode hours after another fabulous session with Jachari and this time was able to experience the luxury and afterglow David delivered during my Island Body Wrap. My daughter and I enjoyed several hours of pampering today! We both had facials, which included dermaplaning, and we had our brows waxed and tinted. I had a pedicure and she had a manicure. Cece and Kourtney were our aestheticians and they exceeded our expectations. It was so wonderful to enjoy this day with my daughter! Best day ever!

60$ gel polish manicure 5 days after the service. I dont know if its the quality of the products or unprofessional personnel but gel polish is sloughing off from my nails.

Been visiting Spa Royale for several years. Always provided with excellent service. The massage and facial I had today were done by Serena and she was very good. The spa is always clean, the staff is always very pleasant!

Went in today for an Organic Brightening Facial, with blackhead extractions and a hot oil scalp massage. Kourtney was AMAZING, gentle but treated my non-tender scalp just right. I booked online-quick and easy. I originally signed up for an acne facial, but in speaking with Kourtney, we agreed the skin brightening routine was better suited for my skin (dry, two-toned, red cheeks). I will absolutely book the same treatment with Kourtney later this year. I, also, REALLY ENJOY the amenities (complimentary robe, lounge area with refreshments and snacks) and no one rushing you. What a relaxing experience!!

Not only was it an incredibly relaxing experience, she is very knowledgeable about wellness and I could tell that she really cares about her clients. Nice, relaxing experience. Got the Spa Royale Sampler package. Best part was the facial with Taylor. She made the experience peaceful and relaxing and afterwards my skin felt great! I had Crystal for my massage and wasn’t that impressed. She didn’t seem to listen to my needs and seemed annoyed that I’d only booked 30 minutes. This was my least favorite service for the package which was disappointing as I needed this the most! My manicure was with Cecee. She was lovely, but the polish application could have been better. All-in-all, I felt that it was good value for my money. I would recommend getting a higher level package over this one, or booking individual services.

It was a nice experience overall. I used the salt room (very calming) and had a massage afterwards. The massage therapist was professional and great massage overall. I was relaxed going downstairs to check out after my sessions. Then, I got startled by a party going on in their lobby. Looked like a nice party but a heads up would have been nicer.

I had actually looked at this place a few months ago when searching for a pedicure, but thought $65 was a little high, at least for my budget. After trying another spa only to end up searching again, I read the reviews for here and decided to splurge and give it a try. Let me tell you!! It is so much more than just a pedicure. The nail spa is in its own room and is such a vibe. So peaceful. Rachel was phenomenal from start to finish. Shes so sweet and you can tell she loves her job. She gave me a heated neck wrap right off the bat. The zero gravity chairs are the most comfortable recliner Ive ever sat in. They even provide you a blanket in case you get cold. The foot care was amazing and my nails still look great. It was such a wonderful experience that Im getting my mom a gift certificate for Mothers Day. I cant wait to go back myself.

This place is awesome. I had a pedicure done in the new zero gravity share and i was out like a light in just a few minutes. Courtney made my session very relaxing and personal. I will plan to have all my pedicures completed here and will review other services at a later date.

Well, I want to be completely honest about my experience here. The staff and team at spa royale seem to be very biased about their reviews. If they dont like what they see from your review, they will pretty much trespass you from using their services.My first time there was for an eyebrow wax in January, which was spectacular. Then, I had a massage and a facial in mid May 2023. I didnt get a full 30 minute massage or a full 30 minute facial. I look at my cell phone for the time when I enter in the appointment and when I get out. The service should be a full 30 minute service. It shouldnt be 18 or 22, etc. They gave me an option to get another massage and facial or a refund. I did receive the full 30 minute facial and massage, which is the option I chose. So, after this pleasant appointment, I decided to make another appointment for a 30 minute massage. However, the massage ended up being 18 minutes. One recommendation I have is for them to have 15 minutes between appointments, so clients get a full 30 minute treatment. If customers are paying for a 30 minute massage, they need to get a full 30 minute massage! If you pay for a full plate of food, you should get a whole plate of food! With all of this said, Spa Royale probably still wont take my recommendation or accept my honest feedback.

My husband surprised me with a spa day for Christmas. It was lovely! Everyone at Spa Royale was friendly and professional. My massage was amazing! David was very friendly and nice and I was so relaxed. I have a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck and I feel so much better. My pedicure was just as fantastic! My feet feel like jello in the best way possible and the paint job is beautiful! Would definitely recommend and I hope I am able to come back again!

A few years ago, I wrote a review about a not so great experience with this business. I wanted to come back and give them the review I feel they deserve today. I decided to come back after a couple years because I truly love the magic of this place. I got a massage with Sierra and she is fabulous. I really enjoyed her. I also got a wax with Cice and she is amazing. I needed something fixed and they got me back in the next day no questions asked. She is a talented waxer and a really sweet person. Im really glad I gave them another chance because they deserve it. Thank you to the owners for truly caring about their business and clients.

Shady business practices, overly expensive, repackaged up priced food in the cafe with minimal portions. They are just trying to make the most money out of you and get you out the door as quickly as possible.

Crystal listened to my issues, asked questions and was professional, caring and checked with me to make sure she was addressing my problem areas. I highly recommend her and the front staff was awesome. Definitely a great experience and will be back often!.I was there yesterday and Crystal is the best! She really knows what she is doing and worked on several areas where I am having some issues. Not only did she make those areas better but gave me great suggestions to improve those areas! I highly recommend Spa Royale for a massage. Every single staff member I interacted with was professional, kind, well-trained, and focused on customer service. Special shotout to the receptionists for their warm greeting and attentiveness. I liked the amenities this spa offered (nice change room, sauna, fruity water while you wait in the lounge, great staff). My massage therapist was very knowledgeable and willing to tailor the massage to my preferences.The only 2 downsides to this spa were that the lounge was coed and small and the stairs. Im not jazzed about sitting in only a robe next to a random guy while I wait for my massage to start (not my idea of tranquility or relaxation), but Ive noticed its pretty common practice to do this type of coed lounge. This dude definitely sat directly next to me despite there being at least 7 other chairs around the room for him to choose from. The lounge can also be kind of loud if there are any chatty people in there. As for the stairs, I think this place would have no trouble accommodating you if you give them some advanced notice that youd like to avoid the stairs. Youll miss out on the sauna though.

I had micro blading of my eyebrows, first time doing this and I was very satisfied! Jessica is very talented and did an amazing job. She explained everything that she was doing as the procedure went along, and was very professional. If u have ever thought about getting this procedure done, Jessica is the one I highly recommend, u wont be disappointed.

Best massage in a long time, was so relaxed I even dozed off a bit towards the end! Nice spa experience overall. The sauna was a nice amenity. Super comfy chairs in the lounge and a cute little Cafe there too (although it was closed by the time my appointment was)! Very clean, smelled great throughout.

Yesterday was my first facial in too long. The environment was calm and soothing.Rachel did my facial and was fabulous. Her hands moved over my face and I became so relaxed.Because it had been so long there were many extractions. What a great experience! My partner and I came for couple’s massages and left so relaxed and happy. We were treated extremely well from the moment we arrived. Everyone we interacted with was an absolute pleasure and I had one of the best massages ever from Akiko (Jachari was excellent as my partner’s masseuse). They have flavored water, teas, and a little snack mix in the relaxation lounge, as well as an infrared sauna in the changing rooms. Great vibe and people. I hope to be able to return again soon once I save a bit of money!

Thought I would upgrade my normal pedicure to a spa pedicure. The experience was very pleasant but I didn’t see my toes until I stepped out into the light. I’m so disappointed and can’t believe I paid $90 for this!! Paint is all over my cuticles and it looks like a child painted my nails. Very disappointed and will not be coming back.

I had a facial with Courtney today. With having allergies to most skin care products I’m always hesitant because of past experiences. Courtney looked at all the ingredients to make sure everything that was being used was ok for me. She made my skin look and feel amazing! As a momma of 5 I look run down and dehydrated on a daily. It was a very relaxing experience with a hand and foot treatment as well. There’s a reason that this spa has stood the test of time and been in Gainesville for 20 years. This is the only place I’ll go. Thank you Courtney I can’t wait to see you in the future.

I received the Grand Indulgence and it was the best massage I have ever had. Kristal was my therapist and she was great! I was almost asleep. I was so relaxed and had no pain during the treatment. Pressure was perfect.

Wasn’t at all what I expected. I went in for a deep tissue massage. Ended up getting basically a rub down with no pressure. She massaged a lot of the time with the blanket on me. Can’t really get in there and work those sore muscles through a thick blanket. The ambiance was nice and the staff were very friendly and hospitable but the actual massage was probably the worst I’ve had.

My experience at Spa Royale has been okay, but I can never retuen due to them blocking me from making any future appointments. I went to them for the first time in January 2023 for an eyebrow wax, and it was splendid. I returned in mid May 2023 for a 30 minute massage and a 30 minute facial. I did NOT get a full 30 minute massage of a full 30 minute facial. I called and spoke to a manager and she offered me to either get a full refund for the massage and facial or to get the services again. I chose to receive the services again, which was free of charge to me. Then, I returned for a fourth time for a 30 minute massage in late July 2023, and I did NOT receive my full 30 minute massage.When you are paying for a service, you need to get a full service for what you pay for. Spa Royale should advertise their 30 minute massages to 18 or 20 minute massages whiel you pay the price for a 30 minute massage. Thats not fair to customers, and it wasnt fair. I did receive a full refund for the 18 minute massage I received. When you buy a plate of food, you should get a whoel plate of food, not a half a plate or 75% of a plate.My recommendation to Spa Royale is to have 10 minutes between client massages, so that there is time between client appointments. This will assure that no client is rushed, and there is time to greet and serve the next client while the previous client is getting dressed to get out of the room. However, it is likely that Spa Royale wont take my suggesstion or honest feedback because they dont receive reviews like this one. A good business will take negative feedback and use it to improve instead of banning a client from using their services in the future.

Taylor was amazing! She created a peaceful and warm environment for me during my relaxation massage. She was super sweet and nice and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The receptionists were very sweet and welcoming as soon as I walked in! Last but not least the place is beautiful! From the outside environment, to the lobby, the relaxation waiting room and the personal massage rooms! Definitely worth it and I will definitely be back!

I’ll start from as soon as I opened the door, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The decor is gorgeous, the ambiance was heavenly. Then the best part was about to happen. I started with a dermaplaining, followed by a pedicure both by the amazing Rachel. Very thorough, kind, calming and all around great vibe. I am hooked! Can’t wait to schedule more services. I will not be going elsewhere. I can see how they’ve been in the business 15 years. Absolutely amazing experience!

This spa experience, while relaxing, was very overpriced, particularly considering that the gel polish has already come off of my daughters big toe. For $150, I would expect that a gel pedicure would last at least a few weeks. Exceptionally disappointing and would not recommend this to anyone.UPDATE: I wanted to update this review because the manager of the spa reached out to me and offered to redo my daughters pedicure. Unfortunately, my daughter was returning to New York City and could not reschedule an appointment. When I told the manager that, they offered a partial refund and a free future service to try them again. I appreciate the quick response to the issue that we had and the fair resolution. I appreciate that as well. I would definitely give them another chance.

I couldn’t recommend them more. This place is absolutely beautiful. First of all, I walked in and it smelled delicious. It’s full of candles, pretty jewelry, lotions, moisturizers, pretty decorations, etc. I got a 30 minute massage because the middle of my back has been really sore after working 60-70 hours / week at my desk consistently. I’d recommend the full hour massage but the 30 minute was actually perfect for me. I felt like a whole new person walking out. The night prior, I’d been in so much pain that I hadn’t been able to sleep for more than 1-2 hours. By the time I left the spa this afternoon, my back and shoulders were tension (and largely pain) free. By the way, the staff is also amazing. They were so friendly & helpful. They took the time to help me pick out a really nice facial moisturizer which feels & smells fantastic. This was my first spa experience ever but I’ll most definitely be coming back here. I had an amazing time.

Wow! I cannot say enough about the massage I had yesterday. Ive gotten massages all over town for the last 11 years and this was my absolute favorite. I have more mobility then Ive had in so long. Im no longer walking half hunched over. Truly, I am so thankful for finding a gem of a therapist and he even does lashes too! What more could a human ask for?!

Danell was really great during my hot stone massage. She was very attentive to the temperature of the stones (which were perfect) and to the pressure used during the massage. The neck stretch at the end was the cherry on top!Michelle was very personable and fun when she was doing my pedicure. She always has a smile on her face. Her precision and attention to detail is fantastic. Her leg massage during the sugar scrub and after where amazing!

Went in for deep tissue massage to help reach some knots that have caused issues for a while. Taylor did the massage with added cupping and was FANTASTIC. She saved me today! Followed by an hour long facial with Rachel who was also excellent. Perfect mental/ physical health day! I left in a completely different state from how I arrived. Will definitely be back.

A while ago I gave this place a 3 star review even though I had been going there for years prior. I am now updating it to a 5 star. I look back now in what happened and decided it wasn’t a fair review because I was just a little grumpy that morning and shouldn’t have taken it out on them.I went back today 1/27/23 for a bamboo massage with Danielle and we was lovely like always. I was so relaxed I’m pretty sure I dozed off a couple of times. She is always so sweet and makes sure she is doing a good job by you. Thank you to the staff there and to the owner for such a lovely place to go when it’s time to relax.

This was my first time getting nano blading. My sister went to Jessica and recommended her. She is the best! Everyone was very nice and professional. I went in for a full day of pampering. I am glad I started with the massage. It was the best part of the day. The pedicure was lovely; Im a little embarrassed to say I fell asleep in the big recliner. However, the nail polish was not cleaned up very well.The waxer was very professional and made me feel at ease, but I was disappointed when I got home and saw how much hair was missed. The waxing room was very small, and it was difficult to be on my left side, and it shows in my final result.While they are both longtime employees, I felt like the person who did my facial, and the person who did my manicure were not very experienced with the services they provided.The upstairs area had a lovely locker room, shower, (small) sauna and waiting room. The waiting room was very peaceful and had ample seating, hot tea, and water. I was upstairs for the massage and facial.And then was told to get fully dressed and bring all my stuff with me downstairs for the nails and waxing. The waiting room downstairs was the lobby, which I did not find relaxing. There was a steady stream of people and the novelty kitchen towels and socks for sale are probably funny, but I found them off-putting in this environment. Things I would expect to find at Spencers, not at a day spa.I made a mistake by scheduling my spa day online. If youre going to do a full day, I recommend calling to be matched with the right people for your needs and to give yourself buffer between appointments. The scheduling issue was my fault, and though I told them it wasnt necessary, the manager was very kind and gave me a discount.Overall it was an interesting experience.

The environment is always pleasant and calm, and it smells really nice. I’ve had 3 different MTs and they were all very good. I’ve yet to have a negative experience. Though the stairs are a bit aggravating at times, because I work out at the gym prior to coming, however it’s not a deal breaker☺️ I can’t tell you all who my favorite is MT is because then she will be booked all the time and I won’t be able to get in!🤣 but they’re ALL great!!

I was able to get in same day and got the best massage I’ve ever had. Corey listened to what my problem areas were and did an awesome job. My back feels 100 times better. I see why this is Gainesville’s best day spa! I received great customer service from the moment I stepped into the building. The people that work there are very sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful. I got a massage that was really relaxing and well done by the masseuse. She checked in with me during the massage to make sure I was comfortable. There’s also a relaxation room where you can enjoy tea, cucumber water, or snacks while taking in the calm, warm ambiance.I went back to get a manicure and pedicure and it was also a great experience. I realized that I was doing my nails all wrong at home and I’m glad that I finally let a professional do them the right way. She made sure to check-in with me to make sure everything was going well and that I liked how my nails looked. I received a scrub and a massage on both my hands and feet and beautiful gel polish that has yet to budge. I will definitely be returning in the near future to try out more services and probably get some repeat services as well.

Wow. Just w-o-w. I could write an essay about this place. I frequent massage salons and this is hands down the best I’ve been too in a while! The prices are great, the ambiance is excellent, every staff member is kind and friendly. My therapist, Mary Ellen, was the most skilled person to ever lay hands on me. She was considerate, provided excellent pressure, successfully targeted my needs, even incorporated some stretching in there. I think she mentioned 30 years of experience and it shows. I left feeling like an entire new person and not as if I need to return in a week, like I do with other places. I cannot recommend this spa enough. I cannot wait to return!

I just had the most fabulous experience at the Spa! They front desk staff Timothy, Kerry and Sydney were very friendly. We were greeted with friendly faces, a warm aromatherapy hand towel (the best) and they offered to show my mom and I the relaxation lounge upstairs since we got there early. We enjoyed the tranquility of the entire atmosphere. Then we get to the service and the 90 minute pedicures were absolute perfection! Taylor is such an incredible massage therapist and esthetician and nail technician. Always a joy to be at Spa Royale!

Today was my mother’s Birthday and I bought her and I the massage and facial package. My mother had a stroke a while back, and she struggles with walking and communicating. All of the staff today were very sweet and patient with her. She told me she felt comfortable and they were very accommodating since she can’t go up and down the stairs. We would have loved to use the sauna ,but I hope to bring her back again soon!

Jessica has a beautiful portfolio to view ahead of your appointment. Consultation is also available, but I found the portfolio sufficient to see her skills and the appointment time was plenty long enough to talk first and complete treatment. She uses quality product from start to finish and kept me comfortable and at ease throughout the session. I’m so excited with my initial results and can’t wait to see how things heal over the next few weeks before my touch up session.

I have been coming to Spar Royale for 8 years and wouldnt think of going anywhere else. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The service is amazing and the products are the best quality.

The staff are lovely. The massage was very good!It was just soooo cold in the building. (The thermostat said 63 degrees in the lounge).Warning: You have to climb two flights of stairs to the dressing area, then back down and through the lobby to a treatment room, then back up again and down again. I didnt mind the climb , but might be tough for some. I didnt like passing through the lobby in a robe on my way to and from the treatment area.

I took my mom here as a surprise for a early mother day and she absolutely enjoy the experience and the environment is so relax and peaceful. At first I was alittle worried and with how they will treat my mom since she isn’t fluent in English and they treated her amazing and didn’t make her feel uncomfortable. I see Jessica at Spa Royale for my eyebrows! I’ve been going to her for micro blading for 3 years now. At my last eyebrow appointment we tried nanoblading instead, and OMG WOW I LOVE IT!! The whole process while she was doing it was so easy, quick, and less painful (which it’s not that painful to begin with so to have even less was great!!!). The healing process was even better!! Quicker healing time than usual not as much flaking or itchiness. Jessica is literally the best, I trust her 100% with my eyebrows. Thank you!!

The people who performed my services (Taylor, Ci-Ci, and Molly) did a fabulous job, as they always do. However, the front desk attendants need additional training in customer service. Three of four women stood and had conversation related to who was “on the clock” as I waited to be checked out. They proceeded to talk about other things unrelated to the spa (in front of me). In addition, communication was very poor when I called for clarification on the services I booked. Also, when I booked, I asked for specific people and when I called to confirm, there was no note indicating my preference. *I spoke with someone when I made the appointment. I did not book online, so there was no mistake on my part. She even repeated my request. I was left on hold for 12 minutes and was then sent to an automated message. I hung up. To their credit, they did call me back. The person who called said, “I’m sorry, Ms. X got busy but she said to tell you….” I asked to speak with the owner (Mary). Hillary called back and was pleasant enough. She asked me to arrive at 8:45 for my 9:00 service. I arrived as requested and had to sit on a bench outside because the door was locked. It feels as though the front desk service as declined. But for the lack of professionalism prior to receiving services, I would give Spa Royale a rating of five stars. It didn’t feel very “Royale” until I got with Taylor, Ci-Ci, and Molly.

This was my daughter and my first time at the spa. While the massage was really good, the FAQs said to arrive 15 to 30 min early. It said we would be escorted to a locker, receive a robe and slippers and be escorted to either a relaxation room or the sauna. We got there 30 min early, and were brought back to the relaxation room. We waited there for over 30 min. A few min after 7 our therapists arrived and we were brought back to our room. We were told to get comfortable and then our therapists came back about 6 or 7 min later. The massage was great, but seemed very quick. We were dressed and ready to leave by about 7:45. After paying $80 for a 50 min massage we expected that the massage would be 50 min, but the massage only lasted 35-40 min. Not sure we would pay that much again, but like I say the massage we had was good, but felt like we were shorted about 15 min.

Today I had the classic facial (which included a massage) with Katie and it was absolutely a wonderful experience. From start to finish, it was so incredibly relaxing and after weeks of stress and illness, I finally felt human again. She was very kind and talented and I would highly recommend her, and this spa experience. I hope to come back monthly for the same treatment. Thanks Katie! Youre really talented and you made my week!

I had a back facial with Sloan and a manicure with Taylor. The back facial was super relaxing Sloan knew exactly what to do to combat my acne discoloration. I felt like I was in great capable hands the entire treatment. My manicure with Taylor was lovely! She massaged my hands and that was my favorite part. The color she helped me choose looks beautiful!

An amazing first experience. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. The building is clean, beautiful, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I didn’t wait long at all. Cici, who did my facial, was amazing - so sweet, knowledgeable and talented. I was nervous because I’m not too sure about just relaxing and focusing on me, but she made it so easy. I will definitely come back and try the other services.

Everything was great, except the lounge was out of water for more than 30 mins. Pls take care to check out for water frequently since sauna and other stuff dries out body. In any case, you guys are doing great job and i love the place a lot

From the moment you walk in your treated like Royalty. The atmosphere really sets the tone for your massage. I just received my monthly neck and back injections and had massage the same day. I received my massage from Anthony and it was amazing. The massage was exceptional, WORLD CLASS. Hes well trained and knows how to deal with stiff muscles.If you want to be pampered and experience an amazing massage then I recommend that this is the place to go. And I highly recommend him.

First time here, what an elegant, beautiful spa! From the second you see the beautiful fountain with those gorgeous tiles up front and meet the friendly staff you know youre in for a treat. Jessica did an amazing job on my eyebrows as usual and the soothing music and lovely atmosphere in the room made me feel calm and relaxed. Im a new fan of Spa Royale and will tell all my family and friends.

I started going to see Michelle last year for my manicure/pedicure. She is a new member of the team and very nice. I am happy with her attention to detail and how conscientious she is with my concerns (I have RA and she is gentle with her massages & attentive with heating pads). I highly recommend her!

Heath care workers have bad rough long days but, going to Spa Royale afterwards is the most pleasurable moment from the time you are welcome in the door immediately with smiles and a warm aroma washcloth to the relaxation room with nice hot tea or some refreshing water. My message therapist Anthony who is always so booked but, he makes me feel like I’m the first person of the day!! He greets me with a smile and always make me feel better!! David is experienced and knows how to tailor your massage to fit your needs. He is detailed, and listens to his clients. I saw him the day I found out my best friend had stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. When I left I felt capable of addressing my grief and was able to drive home feeling emotionally stronger and much more relaxed. He knows how to address the needs of highly stressed people and is easy to converse with about anything. The front desk staff at Spa Royale is responsive and kind. They will fix anything that needs adjusting and can find someone on staff to meet your needs within minutes. Dominic is a great person to get to know - he knows EVERYTHING about the spa and can introduce you to new types of treatments you may not have thought about. Spa Royale is a place to explore and find what you didnt even know you needed! I love the variety of choices I have and I will continue to make appointments there for years to come. The staff is caring, kind and responsive and I feel well cared for during those times when life seems to wear me out! Thank you for always being there for all of us in the community of Gatorville!

She provides impeccable service with great results while providing a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. I recommended her to everyone looking for everything but most especially for facials and eyebrow microblading and nanoblading as she’s the best.

From Dominic, to CeCe to Cat, to my girl Lauren...they are like my extended family, Taylor and Anthony...everyone is so wonderful. Everytime I go I feel so relaxed. They are very professional and I couldnt imagine myself going anywhere else! The best of the best as soon as I enter the door. The care, attentiveness, attention is top notch. I cant tell you how much I appreciate the excellent job CRYSTAL done, she was very caring and tentative, I dont want anybody else doing my Massages but Crystal due to her being very good and skilled at doing her job. I have had a wonderful classic relaxing massage by Anthony today and on other several occasions. Today was so much more meaningful to me because I had been sick and my body was so tight but when I left there I was sooo unwind!! It was amazing ! He is phenomenal and has great massage techniques. He tailors each massage to my needs each time. Anthony have always made me feel very comfortable at each and every massage. If you need a massage and a relaxation day this is the therapist you need!! I will continue to put my relaxation moments in his hands!!

This was my first spa experience, Ive had massages, pedicures and manicures at other places, but no experience was like the one at Spa Royale. It is addictive, but in a good way. Its so quiet and relaxed there. Arrive early so you can enjoy the meditation room in a robe while you wait for your services to begin.Dawn gave me a 90 min. tension massage and CiCi gave me a 30 min. facial and 60 min. manicure and pedicure (each).I definitely recommend both people and will definitely be going back. 😀

Ive always enjoyed my visits to Spa Royale. Michelle does a great jobs on my nails and waxing. Today I had my first massage with Alicia and it was great. So relaxing! Staff are friendly and professional and they keep the spa super clean.

This was my first experience at Spa Royale. The welcome was fabulous with a mention to being able to shower and/or sauna after the massage (a nice touch and the sauna was great!). The massage was ridiculously great! Anthony was able to work out my back and shoulder while still giving attention to other muscles I hadnt known were achy. I really like deep tissue and find myself frequently eye rolling at how gentle some people deep tissue. No problems with Anthony, he was perfect in getting to those deeper muscles and manipulating my arms to open my shoulder blades was incredible.

Had my first visit at Spa Royale today and it was quite lovely. I had a massage from Katie and a facial from Sloan and they were both fantastic. The massage left me feeling relaxed and the facial had me feeling invigorated. Would highly recommend!

The most relaxed I get. I have been going for maternity massages. David is wonderful! I always leave feeling lighter and definitely less achy. He is also very patient. Every time I move to the zero gravity position I have to relieve myself and he kindly chuckles and just picks back up where we left off when I get back. Im never rushed to leave. They have a relaxing room in the back where I enjoy infused water and a dried fruit and nut mix to wake me back up before I hit the hot sunny day. The changing room is also very cozy. It has two bathrooms, a shower in a private space, sauna, lockers, and other little items to help you get ready to go to back to your day. My husband and I just signed up for memberships, so were planning on making it a regular couple thing and Im so excited!!!

My experience was top notch as always. Loved how the staff played a part with my husband and friends that were sharing several clues to each experience! Pressure applied to necessary areas and I left over relaxed!

Hands down my favorite massage parlor. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing. My favorite is Katie C. I told her my profession and that I play golf avidly and she tailored my massage to what I wanted. In fact, she taught she what I needed as well. Shes great from beginning to advice on after care. Simply the best.

This was not my first visit to Spa Royale. It has been a while since I had been there. As soon as I walked in the door, I was immediately greeted by the ladies at the front desk. I was offered a warm towel for my hands. It was Great ! Everyone there made me feel so welcome and valued as a person and a client. Cicely is the Licensed Nail Specialist that did my gel manicure. Cicely is not only a perfectionist and very professional. Cicely is a lovely young lady. We had a very pleasant conversation. I will be seeing Cicely again soon. I will also be enjoying all the other Spa Treatments at Spa Royale.

I have officially been seeing Alecia for almost 5 months on an almost weekly frequency, I love corrective type massages which is extremely difficult to find, till I found Alecia! When I first stumbled upon Alecia, I had very little range of motion in my shoulders/back, we have made tons of progress since then. The biggest blessing in 2020 was having found somebody who does such a spectacular job and has a passion like Alecia does for her craft. The staff is also very friendly and make the transaction/booking my appointments very flawless. I’m hooked!!🔥🔥

I had my first hot stone massage with Taylor. She was wonderful and very attentive to the knots in my neck and shoulders. I will definitely return but for a 90 minute instead of 60!!😁

Decent spa. Nothing super special but nothing horrible either. Friendly staff. Nice lounge room. Not my go to spa, but nice enough to go to every now and then.

Spa Royale is the best. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the place always smells amazing, and the masseuses are all wonderful!! Today I had a 90min full body massage with Katie and I have never had a better massage in my life, go see her you won’t regret it!

I went here for a massage during a soft dry fast, and I had a wonderful time.The sauna was great and so was the massage. I thought the price was good given what you get. This was just my second time getting a massage though in my life, and my first at Spa Royale, so Im no pricing expert.The staff was very nice, helpful, and professional. I enjoyed the waiting room and showers. Id definitely recommend coming here. The atmosphere was very relaxing.

Spa Royale made my experience the best! While my ma and I was there, they had a rooftop experience with finger foods and specialty drinks. The setting was very beautiful. The staff made our experience very enjoyable! The place is very clean and relaxing. I booked my next massage right away!

Ive been getting massages for years but this was by far the best massage I have ever had! My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage and left more relaxed than ever. He cant stop talking about it. There were warm hand towels when you walk in, pleasant aromatherapy, and excellent pressure. Definitely ask for Katie C and Anthony!

I visited Spa Royale for a micro blading touch up. The spa itself is gorgeous, very calming feel and attentive employees. Jessica is the absolute best for all of your brow needs. I initially used her micro blading service but most recently tried nana blading. I couldn’t be happier with the results and quality of service I received!

This spa was amazing and definitely will be back soon! The moment you walk in you are greeted nicely , we got there early so we were able to enjoy some watermelon water which was refreshing, the actual service was beyond amazing from start to finish it was relaxing. I had a facial and massage and they were both great throughout the service they made sure I was comfortable and doing okay , I would definitely recommend everyone to visit Spa Royale !!

The atmosphere was so serene and our massage therapists were very kind and patient. I have severe fibromyalgia and for the 1st time in 3 months I had relief where I was able to walk with minimal pain.I have full intentions of going back asap.
