I went a month or so ago for an overdue massage. I’ve been here before and there’s a few ladies I love. Since it was last minute, I took a chance on WILL and let me say, I will request him from now on. He knew exactly what I meant when I said firm pressure, and checked on me throughout to make sure I was good without talking a ton.He did some stretches with me and double checked before starting to verify any problem areas. I was very professional and I felt so much better afterwards. I highly recommend this veteran for a great massage! Thanks Will!

We have been to Ultimate Escape several times for massages. Every thing is always great. We booked the swe-deep massages; painful but necessary. I had Will today and he did amazing! I have a 2 month old and had lots of knots and trouble areas around my neck and upper back that he worked on. My husband had Jenny and she did amazing as well and worked hard on his trouble areas legs/calf’s and neck/back. We will definitely return to see both of them.

This was my first time at the spa and everything was perfect. Jenny was amazing and very experienced. She listened to my needs and customized my massage as needed. She was so sweet and made me feel comfortable. I have already booked my husband and I a couples massage with her and I cant wait!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!I have a few times when I’m spending a self-care weekend in KC. Very relaxing atmosphere and professional staff…prompt with check-in. I usually get a Swedish massage and facial and always leaving feeling relaxed. Today I had the express facial and it was perfect. The tech asked questions about my skin type, any skin sensitivity or allergies. My face felt awesome afterwards and she did not push any products which I greatly appreciated! My massage therapist today hit all the right spots, especially my neck and shoulders. I just feel so relaxed tonight…great!

I had a deep tissue massage with Mackenzie today and she was amazing! It was honestly the best massage I’ve ever had. It was really through and she focused on the specific areas we talked about. I highly recommend this spa.

I’ve had 2 services at this spa so far and it is amazing. Lash lift and a Gel Manicure. Hunter is the best in the nail department, super gentle and nice to talk to. I would recommend this place to anyone for any service.

Had a wonderful experience at this facility! The place is cute and welcoming, no frills but very quaint and clean. I had an amazing facial with Ilona. We did some dermaplaning and extractions and a combination of other services to clean and brighten my skin. She was very knowledgeable, gentle, and you could tell she had a true passion for her craft. Great value and services, will definitely return!

Yesterday was my birthday & I’m 21wks along in pregnancy. I booked the mom to be package & added a natural facial. Going alone places makes me anxious but w/ the calm inviting atmosphere, I received exactly what I booked becoming more relaxed. I don’t remember everyone’s names but all 3 of the service providers & ladies up front were all professional & personable.

This place treats you five stars, I’m not sure how reasonably priced this five star treatment is as it was a gift but it was amazing. I got a massage, pedicure, facial/waxing, makeup lesson, and a snack. Defiantly the place to go if you want to take the time to just treat yourself. The massage was suppose to be deep tissue but for me wasn’t at all but was still good. All the other extras made up for it as though we were a little late for are appointment they still worked with us. There’s a dressing room we’re you can change into a robe and just relax with in there waiting room nice comfy couch and tea/flavoured water. Really liked my facial will be back for another one of those over all this place was amazing it is appointment only so make sure to call and set one up. They also have a small makeup store in the front with a high quality make up.

Book a massage with Mackenzie R! She did a fantastic deep tissue massage. Wonderful personality. Perfect balance of conversation and quiet when I needed it. Highly recommend this place. The place was clean and the environment was perfect. Just what I needed.

We had a fantastic experience at the spa. Tried out facials, massage, and even the infrared spa. Everyone had amazing service, and we left feeling completely relaxed.Can’t wait to go back!

Do not reccomend the package deals they sell as gifts. Very expensive, but because they think it is a gift, they lack communication and services lack detail.

My fiancé bought me a Man Of The Hour package for fathers day. I got rubbed up like a new born baby. The interior of the spa is clean, welcoming, smells fantastic and calm. You get a locker, fresh bath robe. I enjoyed the aroma therapy, low light, and soothing music being played throughout the building. This was one hell of an experience. I cant wait to come back and get rubbed up like a holiday ham.

When I first moved here I really struggled to find a massage therapist that I liked and that listened to me about what I wanted from my massage experience to me. I suffer from migraines and anxiety. Amy asked me what I wanted and then followed through with that at each session. I have seen Amy now every 5-6 weeks for over a year now. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is very kind and does a great job! I appreciate her and look forward to appointment.

I LOVE this spa! I came to know it by way of a gift certificate that I got for Christmas several years ago. I was so impressed & pleased with all the services from start to finish... Jenny, Hunter, & all of the front desk staff were phenomenal. After some time & personal events in life, I was recently able to resume having spa services & was elated to find Jenny & Hunter still working at Ultimate Escape. Im a plus sized woman & my work life is STESSFUL. My shoulders & back are constantly in knots but Jenny gets up & on those points, rubbing them all out with ease. She is my own superhero! I would trust all the massage therapist at Ultimate Escape but Im forever partial to Jenny.

I thoroughly enjoyed an Ultimate massage (with hot stones) just yesterday by Patricia. Shes such an experienced and talented massage therapist who customizes the care she provides based on each clients individual needs. After a massage from Patricia, Im already thinking about my next booking!Ilana, the Esthetician at this spa is also beyond fabulous. Sessions with her are always amazing!! She, too, is in tune with each clients specific skin care needs and, as a result, my complexion is much improved. She always has great skin care advice to offer as well.I am a loyal client of this spa and can highly recommend it!!

I went to see Anna Beth for a lash lift and tint and she did an amazing job. My lashes have always been on the thinner side, but she was very knowledgeable and informative about the results I would get from this service. She did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and welcome! I have gone back at least twice to see her for other services, such as peels and facials and I always leave feeling very happy and relaxed. She is really great!

My husband and I just spent a good portion of the day here today and loved every minute of it! We got the tranquility for two package, we added the hot stones as well (which I HIGHLY suggest) and added the pedicure service too. Everyone from the front desk to everyone that took care of us, was very professional and kind. This is a wonderful place and we will definitely drive the hour back just to come back again! Had a lovely time at the Ultimate Escape Day Spa. I throughly enjoyed the Peaceful Harmony Package that included a massage with reflexology and a facial with moisturizing hand and foot wrap. Since I was with a group, we got to have a healthy, yummy snack. I will be back.

I love Ultimate Escape Day Spa. My aesthetician Allison is amazing with skin care. I generally go once a month and my skin is all the more radiant for those visits. After every session, she suggests small tips for skin care which I find useful. I also go to this spa for couple’s massage and Sauna. It’s a fantastic experience. They have very clean premises and it’s a truly relaxing atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with your skin care and massages if you book with Ultimate Escape Day Spa.

I had a 90min deep tissue massage with Jenny. Jenny is amazing, she worked through my very stubborn knots and I did feel super relaxed by the end of it. Jenny is great to work with, she asked me what my concerns were, suggested a couple things as well. I am surely going back to her again.

Brenda is the absolute best. I have seen many massage therapists and shes the only one who found the root to my shoulder tenion. She is very knowledgeable, and can find and fix your problem areas. I travel all the way from Parkville to see her for maintenance now. Recommend!!

I really enjoy ultimate escape day spa. The staff is all so welcoming and kind. The spa is clean and well appointed. I see Patricia for a massage every 6 weeks or so. She is the best. I enjoy the scented oil and hot stones.

I recently had a 90 minute massage that was AMAZING. I prefer deep-tissue massage and sometimes therapists are reluctant to really work my aching muscles hard, but Shauna was fantastic. I have been here 2 or 3 times and have always had a great experience. Its not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. The facility is nicely decorated, clean, and the staff are very professional.

I came with an out of town friend for her 50th birthday. My husband surprised us both with a women’s day at the spa. We couldn’t have asked for more. Every bit of it was peaceful, from the variety of teas available, to the couches and chairs. The snack was great as well.We had massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. We spent 6 hours there. Every single person we received services from and everyone we met was fantastic. They speak quietly to keep the mood calm and reassuring and explain everything. They’ll make adjustments to accommodate your wants and desires, and are so patient and understanding. I’ve never experienced care and service like this at a spa before. I felt like we were experiencing what you would see on tv. I can’t thank everyone enough for their hard work and giving us the experience and time together that they did. I know my girlfriend and I will never forget these memories!

Patricia is amazing at massage therapy! I would recommend her a million times over. Went in for my first time today and had an awesome experience with my massage and using the dry sauna. Worth the cost!

I’ve visited many estheticians but Anna S. is by far my favorite esthetician to visit. I’ve always been told that my skin is complex because it’s combination, acne prone, and very sensitive. Anna doesn’t make me feel like anything is wrong which is a confidence booster. Also, every product she has recommend has worked. My skin as come a long way since my first appointment and that is largely due to Anna’s guidance. I highly recommend this spa because the services are modern and reasonably priced.

I came here for a Spa Escape package, and it is one of the best things Ive ever done for myself. Mackenzie and Kelly were wonderful, I had an amazing experience. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends with me!

I’ve had many many years of massages and I’ve never returned to the same massage therapist until Veronica! She is such a joy and knows exactly what my body needs. Her massages have been life changing for my chronic neck pain! You cannot and will not go wrong with Ultimate Day Spa’s Veronica!

I experienced this place as a birthday gift about ten years ago. Since then, Ive been back three times. I have yet to have the experience I first had. Its possible it was so memorable because it was my first ever or because the masseuse was AMAZING. The front desk staff are friendly and super sweet. Soft robes and relaxing sitting room with warm neck pillows. Great for a girls day or a couples massage (Ive had two). Theyve got some herbal remedies for sale and carry BabyFeet product. Def recommend. Massage Envy doesnt hold a candle to Ultimate Escape. I do however, wish and have requested that they get some images for the gift certificates that have people of color on them. That would make a gift like that even more special.

IIona gives wonderful facials. She is very thorough and talks you through each step/product. She also does Dermaplaning and I felt well taken care of and had great results despite being a little nervous about this service. The environment is SO relaxing.

So I’m hoping this place is as good as the reviews, but who know when I can get in to use the spa package I received as a gift. I called to make an appointment (finally have time off!) only to find out they are booked for the massage portion for the next few weeks (WEEKS). I understand that a service can be booked up - which makes it difficult to use the package, but it wasn’t even offered to split up the package so that I could use part of it now. My time off is limited during the week, especially for a 3.5 hour package and I will have to wait weeks before I can use the gift. I’ll probably have to call a month or more in advance to find time on their calendar, so be forewarned about the need to plan in advance if you want to go!Note to anyone considering buying a package as a gift for your loved one - don’t leave them in a lurch when they can’t get an appointment at a time convenient for the gift receiver. Rather have them call first and see if they can get in and then spend money on a gift certificate. Otherwise they may never use it and it will go to waste (like mine will likely end up with my schedule). I wish I could return it for a refund.

In the arms of one masseuse has become my safe haven. I happened to have had one of those experiences at the beginning of this year which shifts the ground I stand on the day before my initial massage with Patricia. She provided a holding environment which allowed for deep physical and emotional healing. Her communication skills put me at ease to let her know exactly what I needed in the moment. Ive found her knowledgable with multiple techniques available on the spa menu. Pain that Id been carrying for months, was relieved. Each time I return, Patricia J. continues to exceed my expectations.

I loved my experience even starting with my phone call to ask about their services. They were very friendly and helped me answer all of my questions. When I went to my appointment, it was amazing! The Staff was also very friendly and professional. When I left I left with new friends and so relaxed. It felt so good to be pampered like that. I cant wait to go back for another Spa day! I have been a customer here for about 2 years and always have an excellent experience whenever I come in. The staff are kind and pleasant and go out of their way to make guests comfortable. It has such a soothing and quiet atmosphere, Im always thrown a little when I step outside and realize Im in the real world. Ive experienced many pedicures here and have treated myself to full day packages as well. Ive never had a bad experience and we continue to use their services for special occasions.

Unwelcome to a nursing mom.I scheduled some time to enjoy the spa with my mom, who lives out of town, last week. A big driver for me selecting this spa was the relaxation room so we could have a bit of time together between services. Since I had childcare scheduled for the special day, I needed to pump prior to my appointment. I got set up and settled in the room with my mom. Several minutes later, I was asked if I would like a private space and I said, thanks but no, I was comfortable with my mom and would cover up more if anyone else came in. A few minutes after that, the woman came back in, and politely told me that I needed to go to a private space as other customers were coming in. I wanted my mom to have a nice experience, so I didn’t argue, but I was embarrassed at being essentially kicked-out, and physically uncomfortable while I pumped in a stall in the locker room.Any pumping mom knows you are more comfortable in a lower chair, where you can lean forward, not a higher stool where you are awkwardly perched, and most pumps even require a plug (luckily mine has battery). I have pumped in plenty of places before- even in an airplane seat next to a male stranger. Since I use a cover and my pump is whisper quiet, Ive never picked up on the slightest bit of discomfort from those in my area, many even make conversation about parenting with me as I pump. Based on my conversations with other nursing moms, Im not alone in finding ways to pump in public discreetly, so that you dont have to miss out on life. So I was just completely struck when I was asked to leave the room rather than just being offered to cover. The only reason I wasnt using one when I started is because my skirt was pulled up to my bra line, my shirt downward, and my mom and I were literally the only people in a dim and private room, so you couldnt see anything anyway. The woman was polite, but it was clear they werent very informed on the topic of pumping mamas. I wondered if I was being oversensitive, but when I shared my experience with my pretty traditional husband later, his jaw dropped. He couldn’t believe that a room full of people wearing robes wouldn’t be welcoming to me.I expected more from a day spa, and although I get a massage every single month (breastfeeding mamas have back pain), I wont be returning. I would advise them to figure out a pumping protocol, and actually ask nursing mothers what works for them. They seemed uncomfortable and uninformed, which made me feel unwelcome and really ruined any relaxation effect my services could have bought. The only reason I am giving them any stars is because my mom had a great time (I didn’t share my experience with her), and that was really the most important thing to me.

Been coming here for a few years and just recently decided to become a regular. I have to start by saying that Josh is amazing! I come in stressed and leave feeling completely refreshed. I’ve only had 2 sessions and I already plan on being a lifetime customer. Definitely recommend!

I was very pleased with the natural facial and deep tissue massage I received, but was disappointed with my manicure and pedicure experience. The nail technicians were newer and not experienced. I upgraded to gel and it’s already chipping (next day). Will not go there for these services, but recommend for the others!

Everything was great and the staff was very professional and polite. Never been here before, but will be returning. The services are not cheap, but for a special occasion, this is what we needed. So this was my very FIRST time EVER getting a massage and facial! When I arrived I was greeted with professionalism and taken back to a locker room to put my belongings in a locker and change into a robe. I was then taken back to a little room that had a peaceful and relaxation setting complete with calming music, comfy couches, and refreshments. First was my massage. I was taken back by Stacey who explained everything to me, seeing as I was a first timer I knew nothing about massages or what they entailed. She asked me if I was sure I wanted a deep tissue massage. I replied with yes im sure. She told me to just relax and let her know if she needed to lighten up at any time. I must say the massage was AMAZING I felt so relaxed and felt alot of tension lifted off my body. Stacey was very nice, very thorough, informative, and took her time. I highly recommend Stacey! Second I was taken back by Lindsey for my facial. Again, with this being my FIRST ever facial I was very unaware of what to expect. Lindsey made me feel very comfortable, was very informative, and explained everything to me step by step so I was always aware of what to expect next. She asked me about my skin management to make sure she was very familiar with my skin and to assess if she needed to educate me about proper skin care techniques etc. Lindsey took her time and was very thorough in covering every square inch of my face. The extractions didnt hurt at all. Her facial massage was amazing and very relaxing. When she was done my face felt so soft and revived! My face felt brand new! I noticed my skin looked tighter and healthier too! Lindsey was very sweet, professional, thorough, informative, knowledgeable, and took her time. She also took the time after my facial to talk to me about how to keep up with my skincare and told me to keep my face nice and moisturized daily, as it minimizes wrinkles 😉 I highly recommend her! BEST FACIAL EVER!I will definitely be going back for their services!

Today was second time I had facial treatment with wonderful esthetician Ilona. This time she recommended me there new oxyjet red carpet facial, I decided to do it. Result was great, I felt like I was 10 years younger:). My skin was glowing and more firmer, it made me very happy! Thank you very much Ilona!Staff and environment was friendly and cozy.Definitely will be coming back.

Will not go back!!! I have been going here fit years. After my visit today I will not return. First when I checked in and they told me Josh would be doing my massage. I said no I requested a women. They did find a woman who could do the massage because not all do this massage. Then I get in the room and gurl looks at me and asks if Im pregnant!!! I said no. I could not relax after that. Had 1.5 hour massage and then 1.5 facial. Will not return. Sad because I really liked this place.

I was so excited about getting my first pedicure here because I was splurging for my birthday, but I have to say I was pretty disappointed. The ambiance/decor is a little 90s. The front desk staff was friendly, but the lady who did my pedicure was really sour. She barely spoke two words to me the entire time and was not very friendly at all. I thought I had asked for a hot stone pedicure since I was splurging for my birthday, but apparently I was put down for just a basic pedicure. When I mentioned it to the lady doing my pedicure, she didnt say anything or even give an option to switch it and pay the difference.I paid $61 for a basic pedicure that was nothing different than what you would pay $30 for at the average nail salon. I was so bummed ... wont be going back.

Would like to complement Kelly for her skill in giving me a very pleasurable facial. Kelly is pleasant, friendly, and interested in my needs for skin care. I look forward to seeing her again for my facial needs.

Our pedicure was probably the best part about it. My step dad spent over $500 for my mom & i to have a girls day for our birthdays. The lunch was okay. The massage wasnt that great. They make you sit in a robe in a room with a bunch of other naked people in robes. The facial felt good but she said she was going to use stuff to help with oily skin and break outs. Both of our skin is extra oily and broke out horribly. We wont be going back.

Courtney gave a wonderful, relaxing facial. The products she used were special to my skin care needs. As a result, my skin was mositurized and healthier in appearance.

My massage therapist spoke about his mental health diagnosis and himself the whole time. Then he cut off the massage 15 minutes early. I dressed and went to the waiting room to wait for my daughter and then he came back and told me he accidentally cheated me out of time and had me come back again. Worst experience I have ever had. Totally unprofessional and I will never return to this place.

I love that they take SpaFinder/SpaWish gift cards. Ive used a few of their various monthly package specials and they are always fantastic. Li does great massages and Hunter is the absolute best nail tech, ever! He applies gel polish flawlessly. I appreciate that this is truly a day spa. They arent a hair salon that just happens to provide some day spa services. So youre not going to have to endure the smell of hair color and hear blow dryers going. They do a great job of creating a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.

I did one of the spa packages here and it was such a great experience. Super comfortable and relaxing environment. I will definitely be back, and recommend to anyone.

My friends and I had a group booking for two 30 min services each. There was a mixup on the date so 4 out of the 6 of us rushed to get there for the 2nd 30 minute service. They told us we could either not show and be charged 50% or show and had the option to do the 2nd service for 30 or 60 min. We all chose the 60 min for the one service.They charged all four of us for the full service, plus a $33 cancellation fee (which no one knew until we were shown the receipt) even though I had purchased a $50 gift card for a friend and a $50 serum. So it cost us more to go and try to salvage the day with the one full service rather than just not show.Although my friends and I have been here on several occasions for the group bookings and spent quite a bit of money, we’ll not return again. I hope the $33 cancellation fee for 4 people was worth not having our business in the future.

I ordered a suprise spa for my wife and the masoos was coughing over her so she cancelled the spa and called me back. The manager didnt offer very much sympathy either. She used to love this place but she will never go back now.
