I love this location and the amazing staff they have! Yesterday I had a wonderful massage with Courtney and she made the experience feel healing and relaxing. She gave me great information on how to maintain a healthy body at home by continuing to stretch and strengthen my problem areas. Highly reccomend!

When I walked in the office everything was instantly inviting. The smell of the air. The people at the front desk. Everything was amazing. Tiffany, was an awesome massage therapist. This was my first professional massage. And she gave me a lot of insight on the different massage techniques and the goal that they accomplish. I appreciated that. And she also has heavenly hands. I look forward to my next appointment with her!

Blake was very professional and personable. His knowledge and skill of Swedish massage were great. I was suffering with sciatica and Blake knew what to do to alleviate much of the pain. He showed me exercises to do at home to help bring relief, too. After a stressful week of much physical labor involved with moving, the calm, soothing atmosphere at Massage Heights, along with the therapeutic massage was just what I needed.

Had a great Swedish massage with Tiffany. she applied the pressure i requested, firm, in confident and practiced motions. the massage helped my stressed muscles and released some of the tension. the environment was relaxing, quiet, and private, nicely decorated. the aromatherapy smelled good, and everything was clean and sanitary. the people i contacted and spoke with at the front desk were also helpful and timely. would definitely consider this place again to come back!

I was given a gift card to Massage Heights College Metcalf for Mother’s Day. The front desk staff was kind and personable. The waiting room was clean and organized. And Blake gave me the best massage! I walked out knowing I had to come back. They gave me information about the membership and I happily signed up! I can’t wait to go back next month.

Massage Heights has been my go-to place for a peaceful, relaxating hour for a year.Blake has been my massage therapist by choice. He is a true professional. I appreciate that he listens to me to assess my needs, and he does not chat while giving my massage. Also , he explains other services they offer.

One of the best massages I’ve had. I came in a week after having a baby bc my neck and shoulders were so tight from leaning over breastfeeding and Tabitha spent 50 mins on just my back and shoulders alone. Pressure was perfect and I plan on going back next week to see her again.

This place was great! I got in same day and the facility was very clean, relaxing, and welcoming. My therapist had great communication before and during the massage. She was able to adjust to sensitive, sore areas and it enhanced the entire experience. I will definitely be going back!

I have been dealing with neck pain and migraines consistently for three years. I have had other massages that were just okay but Ashley was wonderful. I wish my neck and back were back to normal but that will take time. Firm pressure, very kind and understanding that I had a hard time relaxing my body due to constant tension. I have already made another appointment with her! Thank you Ashley!

It was the absolute best massage, I went for full body but after talking with Bruno we concentrated neck and back which is exactly what I needed. Going ti sugn up fir monthly service with him.

Most terrible experience I’ve had at a massage. Environment and aesthetics are great, but service is awful. I’ve been here once before and it wasn’t great but I didn’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water, so to speak so I decided to try them again when I received a text notification offering a special promo. I scheduled an appt for me and my girlfriend and was quoted a special price of $140ish and was also made aware of the cancellation policy that if I cancelled within 24 hours I would be charged full price, however I was also told that if I needed to cancel within 24 hours but gave them enough time to fill that appt they would work with me. Not true. My appt was at 3pm and I called at 9am to try and reschedule and was promptly told I would be charged full price and reminded that they notified me of the policy. I kept the appt accordingly. After the massage at checkout I was charged $159!! The manager, Hope, stood by the charge and said it wasn’t possible to be quoted $140 unless a mistake had been made. “Why am I responsible for your mistake?” I asked. Didn’t matter. Better get anything they tell you in writing or you’re going to lose. Customer isn’t right here. Money is more important to this establishment rather than the people they serve.

The massages are good, but be warned of the membership. I cancelled in Feb. The person that cancelled my membership didnt give me a paper to fill out. So I started to get charged again in May? I called and had to go in person to fill out the cancellation and had to use what was charged as a massage. Ok, but then got charged again in June. With them saying now that it takes another month for it to process... Its not easy to get out of this membership 😕

Did a couples massage for my boyfriend’s birthday, it was soo relaxing! Michelle listened to exactly what I was looking for out of my experience, and then delivered above and beyond! 10/10! Will be back!

Thang is a great massage therapist. I have been going monthly to him for close to 2 years now, and always look forward to my appt. He is well educated on treating different areas, and gives me tips on stretching to do in between appts.

Robert is the best massage therapist I have ever had. He finds the sources of my pain and works to correct them. I typically book 90 minutes sessions, but they go by so fast! I would highly recommend Robert and Massage Heights!

The marketing texts won’t stop - I’ve replied STOP, blocked the numbers (new numbers are created and used every time) and called 3 stores to get them to stop. The store manager of this location just told me she doesn’t see anything & can’t do anything to help even though the text came directly from their location and then she proceeded to tell me she worked in IT and couldn’t do anything and then hang up on me when I asked to speak to someone who could help…yikes. Extremely frustrating, and I’d never go back to a Massage Heights based on this experience. And I STILL need the texts to stop…

I booked a 90 minute massage with Courtney and was pleasantly surprised. I have several issues from old sports injuries, and lots of tight neck muscles from working at a computer all day. Courtney listened to my needs, communicated throughout the appointment, and ensured I had the best possible experience. The facility itself was clean, with knowledgeable front desk staff who were not pushy about booking, but let me know what options were available. I will be back.

Im deeply disappointed with the new management at this location. Our family has been loyal customers for quite some time, but recent experiences have left me feeling cheated and undervalued.I prepaid for three massages in full, expecting to use them when it was convenient for me (I was 8 months pregnant and about to have a C-section when I purchased a promotional offer, which the staff was aware of). Unfortunately, I was never informed about their corporate policy, which dictates that credits must be used within a year. This lack of communication is unacceptable, and it feels like a blatant attempt to take advantage of customers.When I approached the new management about using my prepaid credits, they refused to honor them, citing this policy that I had no knowledge of. I feel like theyve essentially stolen several hundred dollars from me.As a customer, I believe in transparency and fair treatment. This franchise has failed on both fronts. Its clear that their new management prioritizes corporate policies over customer satisfaction, and thats not the kind of business I want to support.I urge potential customers to be cautious when dealing with this specific location and its new management. Make sure to ask about their policies upfront, or you might find yourself in a situation like mine – out of money and without the expensive services you paid for.

I won’t say who they are because I’m selfish ;) I highly recommend Massage Heights! They are super friendly and affordable.

I cannot say enough about this amazing place and my experience here. Not even sure where to start. The owners really go the extra mile to ensure your time at this location is going to be personable and of course relaxing. From a warm kind greeting by the owners, to the front desk and number of massage therapist to choose from.I was in the area for a work trip and was feeling some severe migraines. My coworker who resides in KC told me about this spot. He highly recommended it bc of the owners but as well the locations willingness and ability to accommodate their Clients needs.Little did I know the expertise and guidance I was about to receive from a body, rehab and relaxation point of view. What was most impressive was my therapist ability to adjust the style and pressure dependent on what I was informing them I was feeling. Spoiled myself a little and got the CBD lotion massage and hot stone treatment as well and it was more then worth it. Highly recommend!I can’t wait to return to KC just for this location. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is very relaxing and smells amazing. Hope always greets me warmly and by name. She is also GREAT about letting me know if there are any cancellations for my therapist Greg. I have been to many massage therapist after a severe car accident in 2005. He is hands down the best massage therapist I have ever been to. He has extensive knowledge and experience with physical therapy and I believe that is one of the reasons he is so effective and good at what he does. I also appreciate the fact he really listens . I strongly encourage you to try it out for yourself.

Best place in Kansas City area for a massage. Amazing therapists that know what they are doing! The membership prices are reasonable and there’s a handful of upgrades or “elevations” you can add for a little extra something!

I actually used to work at a different massage heights location and missed getting massages so I decided to get a membership at this location. I have seen a couple different massage therapists and love Robert and Emily. They are professional, kind and fantastic at their jobs. I have even fallen asleep once during a massage because I was so relaxed which says a LOT for me when it usually takes me an hour to fall asleep at night.

Booked online for 90 minutes deep tissue. The total was $119. After the message, I was told it was $250 because I wasnt a member. Crazy and shifty business practice. The message was just a rub down. Very unfortunate experience

Both my daughter and I enjoyed our massages here! We ended up signing up for the membership as the owner was so sweet and helpful!! I cant wait for my next massage with Thang. We also enjoyed a TMJ massage which we had never done before from another therapist, and she was amazing too!!

Update 3/1/2023 -After the whole email chain and going through the corporate, I want to clear the following.1. The bad customer experience was NOT from the owner. The retreat director at the location was responsible for all of the bad customer experience. She was very unprofessional and rude. She claimed herself on the phone with me as the owner when I asked to speak with the owner - she needs more training.2. The front desk lady did not hear I said that Ive already gave the gratuity to my masseuses and she charged my card. She needs more training.3. The owner and her family was out of country due to family emergency but her husband personally called and apologized for what happened. He also promised to take care of my request. I really appreciated what hes done.Due to #3, Ive updated my review to 4 stars. Ill update it to 5 when Hope the retreat director gets her customer service training and personally apologize to me.Original post -Ive been going to this place for few years. I never had any problem and people are/were nice. I love my masseuse, shes amazing. I never had a bad massage at this place. The reason I am giving it 3 stars for the review is recently they changed their monthly rate. Even I had credits on my account, I was charged for extra 30 minutes. When I called the owner claimed its a system mistake and theyll refund the charge. I havent seen the refund to my card yet but it happened yesterday so Ill give it few more days to check again. I want people to know, if you happen to have a card on file, check your credit card. Because who knows if any extra was charged to the card unknownly. I cant believe they can make additional charge to my card without my acknowledgement. When I asked for a free elevation since its their fault and cost me time to call them to help them correct their mistake. The not so great customer service that the owner provided is a HARD NO. To her maybe $20 is worth more than years of membership that Ive been paying. Ive never seen a business owner would refuse such simple request and make sure the customer is happy after they made a mistake. She claims that they always check the charges weekly and if its a mistake, theyll refund. I do not believe they would had caught that if I didnt call. But whatever, I have no way to prove it that they wouldnt either. I will update this review in couple of weeks to see if I receive the refund or not. In the meantime, check your credit card charges after visit. You may be charged extra unknownly.

I came in for a massage due to a sports related injury - check in staff was very friendly and informative. Claire listened to my issues and designed the massage to focus on my problem areas - she was very considerate of the pain I was in and was able to relieve the vast majority of this pain.

My sister-in-law and I scheduled a massage for my brother and he had a HORRIBLE experience with Thang. At the end of the session, Thang fired my brother as a client, complaining he didnt tip well even though he tipped according to member rates. Completely unprofessional and I would not recommend supporting this business to anyone.

If you’re looking for the perfect massage, ask for Tabitha.

I absolutely love this place and have been going for years! My favorite massage therapist is Robert, since he always works out all the tension i have. I have seen a few other massage therapists and they are all amazing. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful.

Tillischa is great! She helps me relax and release all the tension I carry in my back!

Emily is amazing! She takes the time at each session to talk about any issues I’m having and will concentrate on specific areas if needed. She even spent a full hour working on my feet when they really needed it! Love her!

I absolutely love this location. I have been coming here for years and I have never been disappointed. Ron is always kind and helpful, the staff works hard and always greets you cheerfully, and the massages are wonderful! I see Brianna who listens to all my needs and has helped me work through the chronic pain I have through her healing massages! She is truly amazing! I have been going to Massage heights for over a year. My favorite masseuse is Brianne. She does such an amazing job every time! The front desk staff is always welcoming and kind. Never had any issues with them. I have spoken with the manager a couple times. If you ever have a question he reaches out to you directly, which for most places is unheard of. Just like any massage place, it can take a few tries to find the masseuse that suits you best. Dont give up. This place has so many different styles and lots of add-ons, they call elevations. Something for everyone here. Plus you can go to any of the locations. So if there is a specific time and date youre wanting, you can usually get it.

Robert is the best hands down!! The staff is always so friendly. Best Massage Heights location in the KC metro.

Highly recommend this place! The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. The spa was super clean and the ambiance provided a calm atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to go to after a long stressful workday. The new owners (Fereshta & Raheel) were there when I went and they were very welcoming. It seems like a busy place so I definitely suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment, although I believe they staffed up to accommodate this as I was able to get a last minute appointment.

Amazing and very relaxing! Had Rebecca today and, where some people only use the hot stones for your back or a short duration of time, she incorporated the hot stones into the entire massage! As a result, my tension, which was quite substantial, melted away. She did a great job on my neck and shoulders as well. Highly recommend!

I live closer to another location but happily come to College and Metcalf because of the wonderful and pleasant front desk and the BEST therapists. The clinical knowledge of each staff member is superb. They offer top notch far above the rest massage. I have been coming monthly for over a year and am thankful I found them. Highly recommend.

First time getting a massage and it was a smooth and relaxing experiment. Couples massage was great, it had breathing therapy with an essential fragrance you chose, and the beds were very comfortable. Price wasnt bad at all would definetly go back!

Was able to get last minute massage on a Sunday. Had horrible migraine. The staff was helpful and friendly. The facility was very clean and Joshua worked wonders on me and alleviated most of my migraine pain and all of my nausea. I highly recommend Massage Heights and will be back.

This location is not ran by managment that cares about their clients. He will avoid ur calls and will never call back. I had to move out of state for work and their was no massage heights in that state. I called multiple times. Stopped by and left notes for the manager to call me about being able to cancel my plan do to the circumstances. It took 2 months after I gave all the information for me to finally get ahold of him. He then lied and said that he just got it a month ago ( when he claims to have gotten the information, I had already moved) Then he refused to refund it our to a gift certificate of what I had already paid. He said I can come back to use it when Im in town. That is 5 hours away! I didnt have family there so driving 5 hours for a massage is ridiculous. So that is money down the drain. Its absolutely ridiculous.

Very welcoming staff and overall very nice people, very clean and professional... Up until the actual massage. I had Brenda as my massage therapist who unfortunately just decided to rub lotion on my back for 50 minutes not 60. The whole ordeal felt very rushed, I wont be back again.

I had a lower back injury and he was great at taking the time to get to the problem. He also gave me the info I needed to keep recovering. Definitely recommend!

I was going to a different location and had tried many therapists there.. wasn’t really finding what I wanted. So now I drive the extra 15 minutes to go to this location. I had my massage with Ashley and it was awesome! I highly recommend her and this location.

I actually drive down from Topeka to go here and Ive had two cancelled appts that I drove down and couldnt be seen. It should be important to be considerate of others especially if someone is calling in sick....l pay for the service for a reason this experience has definitely impacted me....then to take a week after calling for days to get addressed sorry that was too late....

I see Mercedes regularly for a sport massage and she is incredible. I came to her 6 months ago with a massive, painful knot behind my shoulder blade and she has worked it out. She adjusts the massage to your body’s current condition and is extremely in tune to your muscles. She has helped me with some serious pain relief and is now part of my healthcare routine.

So far I have had two of the worst massages of my life at Massage Heights. They were both with Michael and they were horrible. (I didnt request a different therapist the second time because I couldnt remember his name and I thought the chances were probably slim that I would end up with the same person). I carry my stress in my back and have terrible tight muscles. He moves extremely quickly and the best I can describe it is creates a ton of friction. He basically applied lotion in fast strokes to my back for 40 minutes, following the same exact routine of strokes over 20 times (I ended up counting after 5 or so). By the end of his little routine, the skin on the back of my neck felt really sensitive. When I flipped over he began massaging the FRONT of my neck and it felt like he was CHOKING me! After this he put a wet washcloth over my entire face and started spraying it with something and pressing down on my eyes and nose. Now Im not a claustrophobic person but this was so uncomfortable and weird that I had to remove it and ask him to stop. It felt like I was going to drown. This was the least relaxing experience ever. Waste of an hour of my day and $60. I walked out of there stressed and upset, and had the exact same tight muscle pain in my back. Very disappointing.

Worse massage Ive ever gotten. Went in for a light massage / relaxation massage. Therapist had no idea what they were doing and hurt me more than once.Also - be aware that their 90 minute session is actually 80 minutes and any escalations you get subtract from your massage time. They are not upfront or honest about this until questioned.
