Not a good experience. Came in for a gel manicure, and given the location I was expecting a quality experience, however I was disappointed. One of my nails was filed so deeply she tore my finger open and i bled. It was a painful experience moving forward. Maybe she assumed I wouldn’t tip well after cutting me, so the quality was below average. All my nails were cut to different lengths, and the polish has bubbles and is bumpy. Just sucks. Normally I tip at least $20 for a simple gel manicure but I couldn’t today.

UPDATE: I was having serious pain on my middle finger from the set and I couldn’t handle it anymore. I soaked them to have them remove easily and to my surprise, my nail is MESSED UP. Absolutely digusting and unprofessional. I asked for black French tip, and red bottoms. This lady said she charging $20 extra for painted bottoms. Super unfair and they look horrible. I asked for tapered squared and was left with chunky nails. The total was $88 dollars in total which is expensive even though they look horrible. The glue is visible where the rhinestones are and just a horrible spot to get your nails done. Don’t come here.

I loved this place! Appointments are highly encouraged but thankfully I was able to get in immediately as a walk in. I didn’t like the fact that the person who did my pedicure didn’t speak English so I had to rely on others to communicate. She also was obviously talking about me and laughing because my toenail had been damaged by a weight that fell on it. However, that was my only issue with the visit. They only take cash when it comes to tips. They have an atm on site and deduct $2 from the bill to offset the atm fee. I loved that they used partitions to attempt to keep everyone safe during this pandemic. The paraffin wax and massage was AMAZING!

Only positive vibes. My natural nails are stronger and longer than ever. I only do gel manicure with them, and they take really good care. I never need an appointment, and whoever is free always does an amazing job. The massage at the end of the manicure is my favorite!

Today I came here to be serviced as a walk-in and was told I would have to wait 45 minutes to a hour and I waited patiently and watched as multiple people taken before me. All I came for was a simple gel polish change . Which is disheartening being 1 of the very few black people to go here and I have been multiple times. But the disrespect was blatant and seems as if because I’m a black woman my money and time isn’t as valued as others. I left deeply hurt and embarrassed that I would even come here to spend my money. I will never come back this isn’t a safe place for me or people who look like me.

Today, 10/28/2020, was my first time visiting this salon and I had a great experience! My tech was Holly. She’s incredibly friendly and I appreciate that she checks in. I had the deluxe manicure done and she put in work! Her massages were amazing and my color came out perfect. I will most definitely be back!

I asked to get my eyebrows cleaned, cleaned not create a new shape or the shape she liked, the lady just decided to wax my eyebrows leaving them so thin, weird looking shape and uneven. When I told her that was not what I asked for her response was simply “I wanted to wax to keep only where your eyebrows are full” my eyebrows are naturally light, Needless to say I won’t ever let them touch my eyebrows again.

Very very beautiful nails! They do a wonderful job on the french tips! I definitely recommend Venus nail salon.

I needed a certain design and could not find any nail place that would be willing to do it until I found this place recommended by a friend. I also recommend this place now!!Got my nails done by Liz and she did such a good job. The amount of detail that she paid attention to made the experience really good. The actual quality of the design is also very well done. Loved it!

Amazing, amazing!!! The location is beautiful, service is great and organized as soon as you walk in the door and they have lots of choices! I had Amanda for my pedicure and Kim for my full set. They were both amazing and so sweet, but I just wanna say how much I loved how detailed Kim was with my fingernails. Will definitely be coming back.

I am not the kind of person that Karens out on others business but the service i got was so bad i made this review.Had an appointment at 6:45pm, I showed up at 6:40pm, and i was literally the last living soul to leave that place at 8:45pm when they close at 7:30pm; and thats just the START.I asked for a design and they said yes since they have a nail design artist (important to add that if they are unable to do a design then they should just say so, although i dont think that was the case). First picture i attached is what i asked for and second pic is what i got... like what ?? and even during the process she wanted to leave my nails just plain pink and i had to repeatedly say I want it just like the picture you know, not just pink nails. I want the french tip and the cherries. It just seems so illogical like whats the point of me showing u a picture and u saying yes then just completely changing up the design.During the manicure process i noticed she was doing it wayyyy too fast and she was straight up not paying attention. She kept talking to her coworkers rather than paying attention to what she was doing. So of course i said something, i told her to please be careful while she was filing. She said ok execpt she completely disregarded my comment and kept filing extremely fast. This seems so crazy to me beacuse hello its ur job ? I think its common sense that u should be paying attention to what your doing. Especially if ur filing my nails. Anyways, she completed f* up my nails that took me so long to grow (YES these were my real nails -_-) and so of course now they are one by one breaking bc she did not follow the natural growth of my nails i mean she wasnt even looking.Once they finally started the design i was honestly so upset and exhausted i just wanted to go home (i was the only person there way past closing time) so i did not have the energy to tell her like hello please do it like the picture... again whats the point of me showing u the picture ??Third & fourth pic you can clearly see how she filed it horribly and did NOT follow my natural growth so OF COURSE now theyre breaking. Third pic is the first nail that broke which was the morning after. I went back and calmly explained the situation. They asked if i wanted the design fixed but my response was honestly i just want my nail fixed please and so they did. I was just so upset i was not planning on coming back but wanted my nail fixed i mean come on i just paid NINETY DOLLARS $90!!!! for my nails to be breaking ???^Even during the process of them fixing my nail.. the owner which is the one who took care of me the next day had the AUDACITY to blame this on me the CLIENT for having thin nails.... Even if i did have thin nails ive NEVER had this happen to me like this is obviously your nail techs fault for filing without even looking ??? common sense. So of course i made the comment ive never had this happen to me and you can clearly see where she filed too much and she stayed quiet afterwards. Like sorry not sorry but you are not gonna blame this on me and insult me by gaslighting me.Finally i got my nail fixed for free and thought it was the end of it but of course the rest of my nails are slowly breaking off. 4th pic you can see example of what i mean by them overfiling which is causing my nails to break (WHICH HAVE GELISHHHH)5th pic is the second nail that broke 3 days after. 6th pic is the THIRD nail to brake 5days later. and now i have 2 other nails that are slowly braking.So thanks for that. Worst service in my life.am i crazy?lol i forgot to add , 90$ for a manicure w gelish and the supreme pedicure i forgot what its called.

Did a regular pedi with gel. $39 was a lot plus she cut my cuticle and it kept bleeding. I told them and they gave me neosporin and bandaid. I wanted to pay debit but she kept insisting cash.I didn’t like how pushy they were yet when I have a clear cut they didn’t think it was an issue. Never going again horrible first time experience. Sassy nails is nearby and way better job and nicer.

My mom recently went to Venus Nail Lounge and Spa on Birch Rd. to get her regular gel manicure. She had gotten her previous gel set done there too and was confused because she had been feeling some pain in her ring and pinky finger after getting it done. Come to find out, as the nail lady is doing her new set a few weeks later, she finds that my moms ring and pinky finger were BADLY infected with bacteria and her nail buds were coming off slowly. Please make sure the tools you are using on customers are properly sanitized before using them. That’s bare minimum sanitation rules at any nail shop. I feel so bad for my mom because of how painful it was for her and how the lady tried to deflect and point the problem at my mom when they don’t know how to clean their tools properly. Please do better.

I didn’t even know this place existed so I figured I’d try a new place. I went in for under arm and Brazilian waxing. I didn’t have an appointment so I waited about 15 minutes. Not too bad. I did smell a faint odor while waiting. Kinda like sewage maybe but I’m not sure. My technician came out to get me, Katie. Nice lady, broken English but she communicates well enough to have some conversation. She was very pleasant and thorough. She got my services in and out less than an hour.So the two star? The lady in front who was very eager to take my money just out right confronted me about a tip. First of all, ppl need to realize they are not just entitled to tips. In this instance I was fine with it because my service was good but I didn’t like that. She asked me was I going to add it to the card or do I need cash. I was a bit annoyed. But I told her I would take care of it. Because she was pressuring me I almost didn’t leave one. I don’t like that. The only reason I did was because Katie did good on my waxing. While charging $30 for a pedicure they shouldn’t be rushing anyone. That is literally the main reason I won’t be back.

I went there for the first time today. I called in and got an appointment a few hours prior and it was good. I got the spa pedicure, which was the basic pedicure. They have you sit on a massage chair and they scrub, massage, and clean your feet and toe nails. Overall I like it.

I have been coming here for 2 years and have never had any sort of problem. I am usually satisfied with the work and feel comfortable coming in ! Yesterday i went in for a gel manicure , showed reference photos to the nail tech many times. I have never had this specific nail tech work on my hands before and I’ve been going there for two years. She first gave me good vibes and seemed like she understood what I wanted on my nails. The color was extremely off , she was quite rough and at one point had to tell her it was hurting me. I am usually not one of those who will complain but I am not satisfied at all with the nails and my fingers and nails hurt A LOT ! Quite disappointed since I’ve been very loyal to this place

Went here for a mother daughter pedicure.Its nice they gave us 2 people to work on us at the same time unlike Sassy Nails.They have kids prices which is nice.Put cute flower design on big toe nail my daughter now wants every time.The only thing is they dont necessarily get you in at your appointment time but understandable on a busy weekend.The owner of the business seems nice and accommodating.We will be back.

Excellent service. I did just a mani gel and pedi and I absolutely love how they come out! The massage was amazing as well. Would totally go back.

My experience getting a pedicure started off good right up until the end. When nail tech Angie was placing my flip flop back on my wet polish. The strap from my flip flop touched the polish and she about lost it. She was rude blaming me for moving my foot, dropped my shoe, never owned up to her mistake and acted like it was the end of the world that she had to redo the one toe. Which she only painted over top of the smudge. Needless to say I won’t be coming back!

I’ve been going to this nail salon for almost a year now. I’ve had some great experiences and some that weren’t that great. Today is my last time coming here. Even after the receptionist acknowledged that my nails were crooked she still insisted I pay the $5 shaping fee. She offered seeing if someone else could fix them but I didn’t have the time. They weren’t coffin shaped, they were square & jacked up. Every-time this particular nail tech does my nails it’s a problem. I can’t deal with the stress of not liking my nails when they cost so much.

I’m always at this mall and have been curious about this nail salon. From the outside it looked so fancy, so I came in for a pedicure. The owner (I think was the owner) greeted me very welcoming and was kind. The actual pedicure itself was ok, I’ve never been timed for one before (it shows minutes on the menu) so that was interesting to have the nail lady use an actual timer. The seat was broken because I could not lay my back all the way back without it moving, felt like I was gonna fall backwards any second 😭 so overall it was just ok, they were nice and gave me a plastic bag to put my slippers in afterwards.

First time to go to this salon. It was a nice place at the mall. I picked the most expensive pedicure on their list so I can try what they have to offer. But it was just an okay experience, nothing special. It was not worth $70 though. Will not go back again. Other salons have better service.

I showed her a picture to how I wanted my nails done. She wasn’t really listening to what I asked for, I told her I didn’t want my nails too thin and short . But she kept going and she eventually filled into my skin and cut it very deep.

I went yesterday around 4:30, They started me off with the the First Lady she asked me how long I wanted it and I asked her could you lift my hand I cant really see my nail length she cut it short I didnt even say yes or no I left it alone. After she was filling she was talking to another customer and cuts the side of my finger and it start bleeding she doesnt say anything. I just leave it alone and my nail is crooked like not straight at all I let her know and she says I just need to file it so I listened to her. they ended up moving me to the manager to do my simple design and the owner was saying this is a very hard design she still continued to do it and I let her know about my nail that its crooked and she files it even more again I leave it alone. She had all these customer coming in and was getting mad at them because she was busy and shes rude. I asked for a f design and I just wanted it simple and she was complaining the whole time. I ended up not doing it because she told me this is the last time Im going to do it. After I told her I wanted it low and thin to the side she said well thats not going to look good. So I told her just finish my nails and didnt get a design. The owner was horrible and rude no customer service at all. it cost me $78 for horrible nails. never again do not go here if you want a simple design for nails because the owner cant even do it.

Great nail salon with great prices! I have been here many times for mani/pedis and once the polish starts to chip, you can get a polish change for only $10! The only complaint I have is that the employees often seem annoyed and distracted. They often are obviously talking and laughing at me with other employees

I was so excited to come to this nail salon , I came with my mom and sister. I am so disappointed in the quality of work done on myself and sister nails and my toes. My mother toes came out great. But as for mines. My sister and my nails are shaped slanted. The color was poorly applied. The color looks very patchy. And it’s disappointing Becuase inside the salon the work looks so beautiful. Just beyond dissatisfied and I will never come here again. And if your wondering we paid over $200. I don’t know about you but When I spend money I want the quality to be worth what I’m paying and in this case it was not.

Worst service ever. They filed my nails too much. It was so painful and same afternoon start breaking because they are too thin. Still hurts a lot. Dont know how much time will take to recover.

Yay!! We found a new nail salon! Andy, Jenny, and Holly were amazing to my daughter and I. We really needed to rest and relaxation; the pretty fingers and toesies were a bonus. Thank you!!

I was so disappointed to learn that my favorite nail tech (A) is no longer employed at Venus Nails. The atmosphere was very subdued today, no joyful laughter and smiles. Miss Karens review was taken seriously. My friend, A, was so proud that her son had just graduated from high school and was preparing to go to college. I hope she can manage when, and if she finds a new job.The service was very good, as usual.

Im pretty annoyed with them to the point I may not go back. They upsold my 14 yo daughter over $20 on a acrylic full set. It was just a one time treat and we all went with a budget. The manager lady who did my daughters nails did not ask me if the extras were ok. She didnt tell my daughter they cost extra. So we had to pay for the full set with the gel upgrade she didnt need. Then she charged $ for a design which was just an angled french tip and only clear on the base. Then... here is the kicker... she charged $10 for coffin shape but they were square!! She said her nail shape was wide so she had to straighten the sides of the tips. WTH? Never heard of a charge to shape the sides of the tip to be straight in all my years, and then call it coffin shape?2 stars for taking advantage of my kid. Im sure tons of other kids and adults get blind sided daily too.My advice is to be aware of the upsells, especially on your kids. Talk about shady businesses practices. The nails turned out fine but shame on them for pick pocketing my daughters hard earned money.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I called prior to showing up to ask if they could see me, lady on the phone said yes, come on by we have nothing going on. When I arrived she said I misunderstood, I explained I had called prior and they asked me to go ahead and drive down. She again said I misunderstood and send me away. No apology or anything. Regardless of the fact her delivery in customer service was at a low.

I am so impressed by this place, not only did Andy do an amazing job, I had a little bit of a complicated fix for my acrylics. My ombré was to dark and couldn’t fit the exact colors I wanted. Not only did he take his time, adapted to what needed to be done, and still kept precise and careful despite how close I walked into closing. All the other techs and staff there were also very sweet. Having gone to nail salons for years I’m so happy to say I finally found a regular spot.

I have been going to this spa for 3 years and counting ....the staff are very accommodating and they do phenomenal job especially Liz. I like how of the spa/salon owner is very conscious with cleanliness and infection control. The moment you enter the spa you can tell the equipment and instruments are very neat & tidy, sterilize at all times, they even placed a top lining on each spa chairs which I rarely see from other spa/salon. The price is reasonable with high end service... thank you Studio 600 for making my nails beautiful at all time... ❤️❤️❤️

I really enjoyed my experience at studio 600, not terrible prices and the staff was friendly. They are well staffed and rather busy, I was surprised how many people were in on a Monday afternoon (about 1 pm). The availability of a glass of wine or beverage is very nice.My one piece of constructive criticism is that the staff speak more in English, it will help the customers feel more welcome as well as improving their English skills while working with the customers.Overall pleasant experience and Ill likely be back despite the drive from home.

This place is being changing for a little bit, the got their alcohol license and now they serve couple drinks while youre taking care of by the staff. They are very nice and helpful. I do my pedicure once every few months (my wife introduced me to it) at first I felt wife are the second time was ok. I always ask for the basic pedicure, while my wife gets her nails done and pedicure too. They are always busy. A word of caution they are always upselling (they arent pushy) if you say no they leave you alone and do what you ask. If you say YES sure to check and ask how much more, theyll let you know and you can take it or leave it. They are all nice, I never get the same person neither my wife, we always rotate and like to do business with all then. On person that does an excellent job is owner my wife her, the only thing is that she usually is not there or behind the counter. They take walk ins , the place is handicap accessible, the always plenty of parking. Note: If you can dont bring your children here, there is nothing wrong with it just the fumes of the chemicals on the place are a bit strong. Other than that my wife and I love it.

I recently had my nails done here; pedicure was regular. Manicure was a disaster. The nail tech could not understand that I needed to round up the corners of my nails and kept sighing when I tried to explain. I showed her a blemish (bubbling) on my thumb and she just brushed top coat over it. I had to go to a different nail salon the next day to get a fresh manicure. I would not be going back.To the owner - please make sure there is always an English speaking staff who can translate between nail tech & client. This whole scenario could have been avoided if there was an easier means to communicate.ps: they are now called Venus nails.

I had a very great experience! It was the first time I’ve ever left a nail shop genuinely satisfied. I showed my nail tech a picture from Instagram and she executed it exactly how I wanted and better! I posted photos of them on the images section, they’re the watermelon green and pinks 😌😜

I use to come here a lot until I had an incident with a lady who did my pedicure. I told her a I wanted the regular pedicure and she kept insisting I do the deluxe, however I told her that I wanted the regular. She went and got some items from the back and start doing my pedi. So I asked her once again “ is this a regular pedicure “ she shook her head yes. 45 mins later I get the bill and it’s for the deluxe. So I talked to the manager, the lady told her in her language I asked for deluxe, but I didn’t. Long story short I ended up paying but it was really inconvenient for me since I had plans with my money. They should listen and not decide themselves what the customer wants. I haven’t been back since. It’s sad because this was a decent nail shop.

Wow I am so impressed with the service I received at venus nails. This was my first time going here and I am truly glad I did. Kim was my nail tech and she did sn amazing job with my mani pedi and nails. I loved the results. Will definitely be coming back here soon. Also, very relaxing environment as well.

I visited this place with a friend. She loves this place so I thought I would give it a try. I asked for a idb full set with a pink and white ombré and coffin shape. At first I was told I was going to wait 15-20 minutes to be seen and there was only 2 customer in the shop. My two friends. There were plenty of workers. I asked if I would be ready to leave by a certain time and the lady said she would start my nails and another lady would finish. She took me to her chair. I asked her coffin shape and she said ok, she started my idb gel. Then the owner came and took over my nails and I asked for the ombré she said she would try to do the look I was requesting. She never assured me she could do them 100%. I then asked if I could leave and come back because I had somewhere else to be. She has me pay before I left. I was charged an additional 8 dollars for the ombré and an additional 3 dollars for shaping my nails. When I was never informed it would ever cost extra for either service. When I returned to finish my nails she attempted to try the ombré again. And when she finished she asked if my nails were dark enough and I looked at them and said what do you think Nd her response was very snarky saying you wanted natural. I left very unhappy and felt overcharged for soemtbing I did not want. Less then a week later one of my nails cracked. Then 2 days later one nail broke off. I called the next morning to report what happened and the lady I spoke to on the phone said to come in and they would fix them for free. I show up to the salon to then find out they’re charging me 4 dollars for one day to be fixed and 3 dollars for the other nail to be fixed and couldn’t seem to give me a reason for why the price was different and why they told me over the phone it was free and why when I came in there was a charge. DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

First off let me start by saying that I’ve been going to this nail salon for years and have always been very nice and generous with the staff. So I went in there one day to get my nails and they said the wait was about 45 minutes. I didn’t have the time so I made an appointment for the next day at 11AM. The next day when I went in at 11AM, they had me wait for a 5-10 minutes and then after waiting they let me know that I’d have to wait 45 minutes to an hour. When I asked them why I had to wait since they I made an appointment, the lady just said they were behind so I had to wait. She wasn’t apologetic at all and basically didn’t care that I had made an appointment. Horrible customer service, would not recommend this place to anyone. Their lack of care for their clientele is ridiculous and I will definitely not be going back and I will let anyone I know not to go there.

Nicky (not sure of spelling) did a great job. She was fast but efficient and very good. She did my mani and pedi. Im just visiting the area but hope to come back before going home!

Rushed to do nails even when there was no one else and very sloppy work just for a simple pedicure. Took my old nail polish off and didn’t even prep the nail correctly. You’d be better off doing an at home pedicure so save your money. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

It took 3 hours for a set and she kept messing up, I told her to fix it and the front desk lady laughed and said “no one will notice.” She left my fingers red and bleeding. Even another woman who works there kept pointing out her mistakes and telling her to re do it. Not worth 70$ lol

Great for walk ins! So far the technicians on my recent 3 walkins have been great! Their salon remodel opened up extra space for more techs and clients. Love their work! They also offer nice drinks, tea, coffee... nice staff! My go to nail spot.

They told my wife, mother-in-law, and me 30 mins to be seen and an hour later they took my wife and myself and then proceeded to wait and extra 15 mins before I got up and walk away from the seat then they came out to do it. I refused do to the fact they told us 30 mins and at that point my mother-in-law wasn’t even seated. That’s is poor customer service if I had ever seen it. Don’t recommend coming here ever. Waste of time and money.

Lori has horrible customer service skills and my pedicure was unsatisfactory! She did not introduce herself, she only communicated by patting my leg(yes,she speak English. I heard speaking English to another customer), she never asked me which pedicure packaged I wanted and gave me the basic! I asked her to remove my ingrown because it hurt, her response we normally do not take off unless they hurt. The only thing she proved she was able to do is talk to her fellow co-worker that was doing my daughters mani/pedi. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and her response, Im so sorry, I will talk to her, she probably tired cause its late! SO, its ok to slack off because you are tired? I dont think so! I will NEVER go back to Studio 600!! And my daughters paint has chipped since last night! Definitely calling for a refund

I have had my nails taken off hundred of times and this is the first time they take a piece of my nail bed OFF!! Hurt like Hell! Trying to blame me saying that my nails are too thin!! Umm who is the Lincensed Professional supposed to be? I dont know her name she wears glasses short hair. Unprofessional to say the least!

I went a few days ago with my daughters and I am honestly disappointed with the customer service they give here, the manicurist I had was very rude and she had a very bad attitude. They have decent prices but they lack in good customer service skills. We won’t be going back to this nail salon.

Wendy is amazing, Im a little introverted so it was nice to just sit there and watch her work her magic. She is very detailed and pays close attention to her work. I will absolutely be back to see her again!

A toe and two fingers wound up bleeding. My nails look like a toddler did them. Never again. A friend went with me, we were placed on separate areas of the spa. It wont let me post a pic.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, quick manicure service and full service pedicures that take a bit of time but are well worth it. They dont skimp on the massages.

Studio 600 is very professional and the workers are sweet. When I walked in they greeted me quickly and made sure i got the right color i wanted, I recommend.

Long time customer but today was disappointing. Lots of safety mitigations in place, yet at least two employees not wearing masks the entire time I was getting my pedi. And one of the employees was talking the entire time. Won’t be going back until they fix this!

Went today and now my toe is throbbing in pain. I have an ingrown toe nail from this place after spending almost $60 for getting my feet done.

I got my nails done yesterday and they messed up badly, already there is nail polish on my actual finger, and their is bubbles of nail polish on my nails, this place is bad i was also a first time customer and i wasnt impressed, and it is to expensive for the job they do, i got acrylic nails without gel and it was a total of $26, totally no worth this nail salon.

One of the employees, a guy, made me a gel polish that was not professional at all. Put nail polish on all the crumbs of the nails. Not sanded properly, uneven sanding, bad nail polish application. Maybe the girls who work here are better.Anyway, I did a pedicure with my partner. It was a better experience but still not perfect.

The place is good, they serve well, for obvious reasons most of us leave tips, they just demand a lot of tips hahaha it makes me laugh x. I give them 3 stars for that
