I truly enjoyed my facial & back treatments. My skin feels wonderful & real improvement in appearance. It was so relaxing too, which I needed. Irina explains each step and it’s benefits. She is very professional, friendly and has a gentle demeanor that’s makes you comfortable with the process. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you.I wish you had a “good savings discount” that I can use for a gift to others. In “this economy”, it would great for the giver and receiver. And if I visit somebody that has a local Massage Envy, your process is complicated to use my account to treat us to treatments. Why? Senior discounts should be available. It would be great marketing! I’m retired, this is a monthly costly frill I can NOT consider essential. Sadly as costs go up, I may not be able to keep this membership. I hope you relay this to higher executives so that it could benefit many more.

Rocky was outstanding! It was the best massage ever and I left feeling more relaxed than I have in a long time! He definitely takes it seriously and puts everything he has into it. He is a rare gem! Highly recommended!!

I went and got a hydra facial with Irina and she was absolutely WONDERFUL! She answered all my questions and was very professional as she walked me through the process of each step.When I was done, she asked if there were any products I needed and didn’t push the products on me like at another location I had gone to, which was refreshing.Highly recommend this location for a facial and Irina.I will definitely be back!

I suffer from neck and shoulders pain and have been looking for a good massage therapist for almost two years. I finally found him. His name is Rocky. I was surprised that despite being so young he is very very professional. When I first met him, my mussels were like steel. Only a really deep massage helps me relax my muscles. If I could give 10 stars , I would. Thank you Rocky!

Kassi at Massage Envy Gainesville is the best! I suffer from chronic muscular issues and migraines so having a quality massage therapist is important to my physical and mental health. Kassi is the real deal, and I am so glad I found her!

I will opt for Swedish massage next time. This massage was booked for me so I did not know what kind of massage I was getting nor do I really know much about massages. Deep tissue for my first massage was a bit too intense. Other than that, Rachel was great and so was Michelle. Thank you!

I had an amazing, truly firm/deep tissue massage, by Rachel. Ive NEVER had one like it despite always requesting deep/sport massage. I dont live nearby, but I would drive the hour for another massage from Rachel.

I have had lower back/sciatica issues for almost a year, had chiropractic care, completed 8 weeks of physical therapy (not that those have not helped) but just one massage and I feel so much relief. Thanks so much to my therapist!

Product was nice as I had great massage from Crystal. But commercially I was disappointed. I bought gift card from a different location where I was told it would be good for a massage for both me and my wife. This location was so expensive that my gift card only covered one massage. I fell victim to the “1 for 2 sale” if you know what I mean.

Aaron is a great massage therapist and very courteous. I have spoken with the scheduler many times over my membership about my desire for a therapist with medium pressure. I cant seem to get the right therapist and there appears to be a lot of turnover. I may have 1 good massage in 5 visits. They are always offering different people instead of keeping ones that I have a good experience with.

Kassi is the best deep tissue massage therapist I would recommend her to anyone. Plus, the staff is so professional and the manager is great so come out and visit the Massage Envy in Gainesville

Juan did an awesome job yesterday. I was a little concerned with using a male therapist, but I was extremely pleased with the service that he provided. He listened when I asked him to reduce the pressure he was using. The hot towels he added was a nice addition.

Crystal S. provides a very unique and therapeutic massage. For example, we tried visualization therapy to help me mentally picture and identify my stuck knots. Her technique really helped to bring, not only physical, but mental awareness to my previously unknown areas of tension. Her pressure was consistent and firm which helped relieve any ticklish-ness I tend to have due to tension. Overall, a great experience. The next day I’m feeling that “good-soreness” in the areas she focused on. 10/10 would recommend.

Rocky was terrific and really listened to me and focused on the areas where I needed it the most.

Friendly front desk staff - willing to book appointments way far out so my favorite massage therapist can fit me in every month for my 2 hour massages. Yesterday Kassie worked especially hard on my lower back and glutes when she saw me limping in due to muscle spasms. She is so awesome that Im booked out thru 2024. Dont let her leave!!!

This was my first time with Aaron. He was great! I have complex orthopedic issues with rods in my spine and Plates and screws in my neck…..but he worked wonders on the knots caused by these!

My provider Apple gets five stars. she is always wonderful. My overall experience was disappointing and upsetting though. The day prior to my appointment I called the Gainesville location three times to inquire about speaking with an esthetician about my upcoming appointment. The first call was with a front desk staff member, the second call I left a detailed voicemail, and the third call was answered by the manager. On all three calls, I informed the employees of my medical condition and requested information about the products that would be used during my microdermoabrasion appointment. I wanted to ensure there were safe options available. They were unable to connect me with an esthetician and did not have the safety information available. When I arrived to my appointment, I found out that the employees I spoke to the prior day, did not inform Apple of my inquiries. This left Apple unprepared for the session and she was caught off guard. I felt that my inquiries with the front desk staff were not taken seriously or looked into.

I could have used more pressure on certain areas. But I enjoyed the massage and came out nicely relaxed.

Ive had nothing but good experiences here. Kimi is one of the best massage therapists Ive ever had with an excellent understanding of physiology and therapeutic remediation. At the front desk, Michele is capable and competent, effectively addressing my scheduling and administrative needs.

Ive been to massage envy before and always had a great experience, but yesterday was the best combination with Greg & Irina. I had a 60 minute massage with Greg, a 60 minute facial with Irina. The most relaxing afternoon. I wish there were more than 5 stars available. They were fantastic and the best combo for me!

I had a facial with Irina. I liked the way she explained what she was doing and why. She did not push products sold at the spa but suggested using exfoliates without specifically mentioning brands. I scheduled another facial for June. An enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

Services are always a 10 just wish there were more options and flexibility in the schedule

The person did my complimentary prenatal massage, she did not have much experience. I was arrived 20 minutes ahead of my appointment. I waited patiently in the waiting room since I’m pregnant I all of a sudden got hungry and I rushed to my car to get my snacks that’s was the time Kassi the massage girl came to take me in the room I asked for few min to finish my sank which took no longer than 5 minutes, I was told massage will be for 90 minutes but she stoped 22 minutes before the time was up. I told her 22 minutes left she said oh I start the clock ahead of time Hum… I didn’t take 22 minutes to finish my snack. Then while massage I told her to please massage my hands, arms my glutes and my ankles because I have arthritis pain, she massaged one of my hand and not the other one she didn’t even massaged my glutes and my lower back, not my ankles not my neck where I had lots of tensed muscles on my neck was hurting but she only went over my nick once and didn’t even massage it for 2 minutes. It was a very slow and baby massage just to pass the time but I have not feel any efforts to make me felt like I actually took a message. At the end she didn’t wipe the oil was sit on my skin. Because she didn’t put any effort, my body didn’t even obsorb the oil, although I have a very dry skin, if she put a little more effort my body would absorb the oil. At least at the end she could get a towel to dry out my body, so when I put on my cloths. My clothes wouldn’t get oily. But no. When I walked out I was told to tip Ms. Kassi and I was giving an envelope so I put $15 tip for her. But honestly she could do a lot better and I would tip her even more. I was very disappointed I will never go to massage envy.

I continue to be really pleased with the customer service and professionalism at this location! Every interaction has contained great communication. The therapists are attentive to my unique issues and personalize the pressure, always asking for validation. I leave feeling really great every time! Thanks Aaron and Crystal!

My visit at Massage Envy was awesome! Chelsea, my massage therapist, was so respectful and made me feel comfortable throughout my service. She made sure to communicate with me before the massage as well to go over what I specifically wanted to get out of the appointment. Michelle was also a huge help at the front desk with check in and check out. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Upon arrival I alerted the front desk staff that I had just gotten over a cold and still had a residual cough. She assured me it was ok and even commented on how bad allergies have been this year. I booked a 90 minute massage and was with Aaron. First I was directed to a room to see what they looked like and it was then shared with me that the therapist that used that room had died- kind of a bummer when going in to relax and feel good. I was told I would have 80 minutes of massage and 10 minutes of talk afterwards. Thankfully I was in a different room. Again, I informed the therapist that I just got over a cold. Twice there were opportunities for them to ask me to reschedule. The first portion of the massage was fine. In fact it was a wonderful massage. When I rolled over I did pause three times to cough- all of which I told Aaron I needed to cough. At the end of the massage the therapist was so cold and rude. “That’s our time today, just so you know if you’re sick you can cancel your appointment.” Taken aback, I answered that I wasn’t sick. “You were coughing the last 30 minutes.” Walked out and slammed the door with a mask on. Had they asked I could produce negative test results for everything and even so if they asked me to reschedule I would have. I walked out to no one, checked out and I can honestly say When I left the room Aaron was no where so I walked myself to the front, like a walk of shame. I felt worse leaving there than I did coming in. I paid, tipped well, and I will NEVER return. Which sucks because I still have $200 on a gift card that will go unused. Unless I purchase a lot of stuff from them. I’ve been to several high end spas and never felt treated poorly. Ever. I’m just flabbergasted that this happened to me. On top of this it took over 2 months to get an appointment at all, and I wasn’t offered any future treatment or asked how I was, when I was obviously upset afterwards. They truly do not care for their clientele.

The staff are very helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with and I feel comftable to have a discussion / my plan (skin care) with staff.Apple is a very skilled, reliable and knowledgeable Esthetician. She improves her skills by learning different skin care lessions. Apple listens to my concerns and provides suggestions. Evaluates the results for further recommendations.Since I started my facial treatment with Apple, I have seen a big improvement in my facial appearance.Genet

I don’t want to erase the review I gave Irena so I’m writing my next review above hers.Greg was very attentive and explained his methods of massage while working on my head, neck, shoulders and back. These are my most painful areas and he released lots of muscle aches and knots while applying the pressure I needed. Thank you Greg.. Irena was wonderful. She suggested the dermabrasion facial as my skin was quite sun damaged, plus I had clogged pores. She did an amazing job and explained the process step by step. I definitely recommend Irena to everyone.

First time at Massage Envy Gainesville last night, and had a wonderful massage with Aaron. Just an overall wonderful experience from welcome at reception and answering all my questions, to Aaron giving me one of the best massages I have ever had. I made sure my next session was with him, and can’t wait to go again.

I really like this facility. It’s very peaceful and calm. My massage therapist Rubi is amazing!! She is very gentle, professional and caring. I came into my session with low back pain and Rubi was able to help relieve that pain as well as share with me some tips to help me everyday. A true gem!

I love the atmosphere at this location! I’ve been going to the same therapist for many years and when she moved - we moved to her new location! I am always impressed with the warm greeting from the front desk when I walk in, it’s always super clean (including the bathrooms!) and the massages are top notch!!! The text reminders are perfect - not too much info and not too many texts. Thank you for all that you do to help people (like me) take care of our health and bodies!

Great experience from start to finish. The receptionists like Jessica are really friendly and make sure you get set up well. Chrissy gave me a great massage that was customized to me. She really got a lot of knots out of my muscles. They recommend future services without pressuring you. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a good massage.

So my mother, who has long-term back problems, gets a massage from them often. She has been waiting 8 months for an appt trying to have one that doesnt get cancelled last minute. and all of a sudden she gets a call telling us they cant do a 90 min massage and can only fit her in for 1 hour after WAITING MONTHS! Now the woman on the phone, Shannon, was kind and hopefully will refund money from a gift card that was used for this overdue appointment. the sheer lack of understanding and what seems to be passive aggression is tired. Ive never dealt with a company so low on the customer satisfaction scale. I can only hope they redeem themselves so we dont have to suffer this dreary company representation.. everytime we try to get an appointment at ANY location theyre booked! I got this gift card for my mother on mothers day 2022 its JANUARY! it seems discriminatory and I just hope theyll redeem themselves. Sad to see a business weve put so much money into disappoint us again.

Apple was great. Enjoyed my facial which she customized to my skin. She used products which felt and smelled nice. My skin is dry so it really loved absorbing all of the water-based lotions. The cleansers were not harsh but provided that deep clean I was looking for. Highly recommend!

I want to say that at first I was not happy with the way the front staff greeted me and how they spoke to me but when I got to the back and Chelsea started my massage I was super impressed. She did a great job and is one of the nicest people I’ve met! She def is a one of a kind person and the massage was fabulous! I highly recommend Chelsea for your massage needs and I know you won’t be sorry!! :)

I cant say enough great things about Crystal! She always gives an amazing massage leaving me feeling better for days. I have many sports injuries and require special attention in damaged areas and she always makes sure to address where I am in the most pain. Crystal is amazing!!!!

Rubi is a highly skilled and thoughtful massage therapist. I highly recommend her, In fact, I have found all of the therapists to be great. I also support the mandate for customers to wear masks, especially given the variant outbreaks. I am curious however as to why the front desk staff don’t wear them, As we are certainly not distancing at the counter.

First time at this location. Staff was ultra super nice and Chrissy was the best! I had surgery on my right ankle a month ago and told her I am fine with it being messed with as there is no pain. She actually loosened it up a lot and knew exactly what to do with that area. I was super impressed and will be back!

Massage therapists Greg and Komkai are awesome and does a great job! Facials by Apple are amazing. She explains everything and your sessions are individualized. The front desk staff is very courteous and pleasant. I really enjoy going to this location.

The staff was friendly. The facility was clean. The massage felt rushed and almost robotic feeling. She concentrated in my back/shoulder blade area which was good and the rest just felt like she was checking the boxes and moving through.

Was there to fill out paperwork at 12:15 .I was not taken back until 12:35 (my appointment was at 12:20 ) ,the aesthetician do not start til 12:45 and finished at 13:25 …40 min facial …paid $195 …She also used gloves …not a relaxing ,pleasant experience .Have had many facials in the past …not coming back to ME for that service .

I had a facial done by Apple. She did a wonderful job and I am very happy with the results. It was my first visit, and Michelle greeted me and guided me through the survey process and made me feel very comfortable. Overall, a great relaxing experience!

Mary is the absolute best! I made the mistake of not pre-booking my appointment on my last visit and I kept forgetting to call. I went way too long between appointments! Even though it had been months Mary remembered my preferences and trouble areas. I booked my appointments for the next few months before leaving this time!

Michael is the best massage therapist I’ve had in years. He really listens to you about problem areas, plans his massage based on what you said. He is incredibly profession, his pressure was wonderful, he gives helpful hints to keep your body working in the best condition it can, and he’s really knowledgeable in the human physiology and muscular structure of a body. I can’t say enough good things about him.

Irena is well educated, very experienced and each service with her and been enlightening and relaxing. There is a reason I book out my appointments with her for 6 months in advance....

Yelena is amazing. I enjoy the relaxing massages she does.The communication ME has helps remind me of appointments! Which I need. Kimi is fantastic but the front desk receptionist, Rachel was very curt. She did not look up from the computer when I arrived. Then curtly said name and checked in. Definitely not the front desk experience that I am used too as a member since 2012!

Kinuko was exceptional! I have a lot of skin issues and stay away from facials, but she uses high quality products and I felt amazing afterwards!

Rubi gives the perfect massage for me. Confident, firm pressure that covers the entire length of the muscle. Multiple repetitive strokes that provide real healing and relief. She does not skimp on her strokes nor does she hesitate as she moves from one motion to the next. I always feel 100% better and fully relaxed after seeing Rubi. There is little to no residual pain following the massage and I sleep more fully and pain free. Wish I could see her more often. Shes a healer!

The massage was good but I was surprised no one was wearing a mask, especially during this Omicron surge. The other place I usually go to, the massage therapist is double masked the entire time. I still enjoyed my massage but the lack of masks did make me nervous. Would I go again, probably, once Covid is not such a concern.

The reception staff were very nice, very professional and very helpful. My therapist, Alexandra, was excellent. I had a wonderful first experience here and would love to go back!

It’s been a long time since I visited Massage Envy in Gainesville. I’m pleased to say that they did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very calming and the staff was amazing! I was in a lot of pain when I arrived and Komkai gave me a deep tissue massage that put the spring back in my step.

I was scheduled with a different therapist and massage envy promptly contacted me to let me know her schedule had changed. They asked if I was willing to see another therapist, although she doesn’t use deep pressure. I was up to try a new therapist and I was NOT disappointed!

Worst Massage Envy I have ever dealt with. I give it 2 stars because once you get in, the experience is great. I cancelled my membership after three months because you just cannot get in here. You are not very likely to get the same person more than 2-3 times before they leave. I tried scheduling massages and pretty much had to try and book almost 3 months out. People who dont work, this place is probably great because they have lots of free time. But trying to book something in the evening or even weekends, forget it.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! Do not waste your money here. The staff is so uneducated on company policy. I made an appointment an hour and a half before hand. Traffic on my way home was horrendous and I was going to be 20 minutes late. I informed the staff 1 hour after I made the appointment that I was going to be late. I was more than happy to just take the time I had left unless I could reschedule. I specifically asked if there was a fee or penalty and China said “no it is fine”. I was never informed that a call-in cancellation would warrant a 50% charge during the time I scheduled the original appointment nor while I was rescheduling. I was gifted this massage by my boss. I recived a voice message at 8:30 letting me know that they are going to have to charge me for the massage by taking my gifted time. They were not sure if I still wanted to come in the next day for the reschedule time slot as I would be charged. I called massage envy back and was hung up on when I asked who I was speaking with. So I decided to drive to envy and get the name of the unprofessional staff member. She then argued with me and walked out the door after me laughing. If you want to experience some of the most crass customer service and people, by all means choose this location. Reading the other comments posted, seems like this is just the tone of the location. Next massage I get will be at a more reputable place for sure! I give one star because I you have to if you want to write a review. This location needs some serious overhaul.

Terrible, terrible service. Waited for an appointment with Aaron for 2 weeks. When I arrived for my 8:30 pm, I was told that they had called me earlier today, as my massage therapist went home early because he was sick. I was never called. While the front desk was trying to convince me that I never called and scheduked an appointment in the first place, the ‘sick’ massage therapist “that went home earlier” walked by. He was asked if he would stay for my appointment and he said , “sorry, not tonight”. Poor service, and can’t keep their lies straight. Not worth the aggravation. Stay away!

I cancelled my membership after one month. The business, from the outside, looks professional. However, the staff needs a lot of work. The person that gave me my last massage talked the entire time and every time she spoke she stopped with the massage. So I do the cancellation and fax in the form etc. I get an email of the confirmation with the confirmation number. But then of course they take another 70 dollars from my account which kicked me into overdraft. I call them and I get the, it will take three to 5 days for a refund. So, who is going to pay the overdraft fee? Were sorry we had a problem with our server is there anything else I can help you with. (No but I can help you when I file a compliant with the state attorney general.)

Service was enjoyable and needed but recommend focusing more on using he full time allotted. This is the 2nd time I was at the front desk 7 to 10 mins before session timeframe started and the session ended 5 mins before the original planned start time. Which means the session was cut a total 10 minutes. Also keep up good work

I wasnt happy with my therapists. I felt rushed and didnt receive my full 50 minutes on neither my facial nor massage. My massage therapist was nice but she stated that since they were very busy and and pressed on time they couldnt give me a full body massage and the eastern European facialist was a bit rude as well. i would never go back again, wasnt worth the money.

I scheduled an Anniversary massage for my wife and I 2 weeks before my appointment. I got a call the morning of the appointment to tell me it had to rescheduled. They offered to reschedule but I already had my wife expecting this for the occasion. Im not happy. When I asked to speak to the manager, I got no real alternative but to reschedule somewhere else. When I asked if they could reschedule it as some other Massage Envy for me, I was told they could not do that because they are not affiliated with the other. Thus, Im left to scramble to see at the last minute if I can find another couples massage. Then when I called the other locations, the one in Manassas was, of course, booked and the number given for Fair Lakes phone was disconnected. A Poor customer experience!

Ive been coming here with my mother for years, I cant wait until its time for my massage so we both can come in and relax! Ive yet to get a bad massage there!If you want deeper work please try Deb, Bettyanne, Greg, and Danielle. I was told by the front desk that Danielle won the therapist of the year award for the company! Deb knew that I had TMJ before even reviewing my chart with me, which I loved to see that they had such trust worthy and experienced people. Bettyanne loosened up my lower back more then I have EVER felt in my entire life, and Greg gave one of the all around best massages Ive ever had. I always smile when I walk in and am smiled at and feel up lifted when Im around the front desk.Please try the experience, and the membership is so worth it! I did the math for my budget and it broke down to $1.00 a day for monthly upkeep for muscles that I dont even want to think about how sore they would be without ME in Gainesville. Thank you!!!

I had 2 hours on the books as a member, so I made an appointment for an hour and half massage. I showed up to the massage the day of the appointment and they were closed because it was a snow day but they still charged me for the hours and when I rescheduled the massage they made me paid $75 for it. Ill never go there again.
