I found this place because it was close to my home and I had been wanting to visit a Thai spa. I decided to go with Thai Healing Arts Massage. It was a Christmas gift for my husband and he doesnt like to go to spas alone so I booked massages for the both of us! The place is very tranquil, professional and clean. I absolutely loved my massage, Wonica did an excellent job on my trouble areas. The staff was very very nice, respectful and kind. We have two small children so its very hard to get away but we will definitely be coming back here!

I’ve been here twice. Once for a traditional Thai massage and once for a relaxing Thai massage. Don’t let the location throw you off… it is a beautiful set up in a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean, very respectable. The ladies are all so nice and very good at what they do.

I have had a ton of massages in my lifetime due to tension migraines, and I would have to say this was the best experience I have had, hands down. I have tried all of the locals, and after today I have no reason to revisit the others. If you enjoy deep tissue massages this is the place to go. I had a great experience with Ploymanee! I talked to her about several of my health considerations, and she took the time to address them. Thai massage is a very different experience from what I was expecting...it is exactly as they describe on their website. I experienced a reduction in pain, and am thankful to report that my calves that had previously been cramping and spasming have settled dramatically! I got the 60 minute combo, and will return for the 90 minute. Both Ploymanee and her coworker who set up payment and my next appointment were very kind. Wonderful experience.

I had never been to a Thai massage, nor had any massage before, only had Chiropractic work. The Thai Healing Arts Massage illustrates how non-traditional medicine should be explained. The practitioner did a wonderful job giving a thorough explanation of services before they were performed and did an excellent job of illustrating what the effects of the massage would be. Pom did a wonderful job. Do not be intimidated by the home environment at all. It is a wonderful space and very warm and inviting. Great job. I will be back soon!

When I first got there I wasn’t sure I was at the right place. It’s a house in a residential area. There’s no sign. I tried calling twice and no one answered. I went up to the door and knocked. No answer. I went in side and stood there in the doorway for 5 minutes and no one was around.No matter how many times I asked the masseuse to go less firm, she would go “gentle” (as she repeated it back to me) for all of 3 seconds and return to too much pressure. I’ve gotten deep tissue massages for many years and have never had someone put so much pressure that it hurt and left me bruises.As her English was very limited, I wasn’t able to discuss my concerns afterwards or let her know that the “deep tissue” massage she gave me wasn’t even deep tissue. Very frustrating experience and highly do not recommend.

Besides being Thai and being trained and certified at Wat Po temple massage school in Bangkok Thailand, Ploy is unique in her caring, kind manor and her professional approach to her healing art. She puts you at ease with her smile and friendliness before the massage even starts; then you are amazed by the strength and effectiveness of her hands as she relaxes muscles and works out kinks and stress points. She intuitively feels where there’s a problem and gives that area attention. Truly a hidden gem in Haymarket, Virginia. Beautiful location in upscale neighborhood but pricing is reasonable. Don’t pass on this unique and professional massage. I asked what her name; “Ploymanee” meant in Thai. The meaning is Diamond gemstone. She truly is. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

Can easily say this is the best massage I have ever had. The accommodations and professionalism are out of this world. My 90 minute massage consisted of a mix of deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone with some much needed stretching to make my body feel absolutely relaxed at the end. Just had my first massage in a very long time. These girls are amazing! I have severe degenerative disc disease in my neck and scoliosis in the upper back. the time that was spent addressing my issues and then working on those areas was extraordinary! Today was my second time going to Thai Healing Arts Massage (THAM). Last time my therapist was Nila and she was amazing, This time I had Ploy and she was equally as amazing! I left feeling so much more relaxed, loose and stress free. As stated in a previous review the location is out of the first floor of their house. The house is beautiful and the massage rooms are clean and private. THAM is so welcoming it feels like you are walking into a friends house. I can’t say enough good things about them. Don’t hesitate to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. I have found a new go to and this is it!

*Update: I got at least two pinched nerves after my first visit to this place. The doctor sent me to Ph Therapy. Its been almost three months since I got hurt and unfortunately the nerve damage under the left shoulder hasnt improved yet. Going to a Neurologist next. Praying that I dont have to get surgery. Please just go to physical therapy if you are experience lower back pain. Dont trust people that dont have a medical degree. I regret coming here so much. R.B

2 years ago I had surgery, which had caused great damage to my nerves. I drove 2 hours just to get a massage from Nila because she takes her time, acknowledged the pain it brought me, and ensured that she touched the right spots in my body so it felt great. From how caring she was with my massage I will continue to go there, it’s very nice and a calming atmosphere and is overall professional. I would highly recommend to anyone, so go there!!

I just recently had two sessions of Nuad Kae Ar Kan therapy to address an ongoing hip, sciatic and lower back issue Ive been dealing with since Dec of 2016. Ive had mutiple round of physical therapy, multiple rounds of chiropratctic care, three rounds of back injections, injections in my bursa twice, my hip and my piriformise most of which didnt work and what did was short lived and only releaving some of the pain for a few weeks. I ve had MRIs on my hip and spine, exrays and ultra sounds and depending on the doctor I am told something different each time. After years of dealing with this pain it had gotten worse and became debilitating which not only takes it toll on you physically but emotionally and mentally. 24 hours a day I was in pain, small tasks were begining to be too much (turning over in the bed, pulling my leg into the car, using the bathroom, getting dressed, walking, sitting heck it was even affecting my intimate relationship) I was walking with a limp because of the pain, it was stressing out my knee, shin, ankle and foot. Outside of surgery I exhausted all options and was thinking how can I live like this for another 20-30 years, I was stil young and had so much life ahead of me this cant be it. So my ortho doctor seemed to think it was more muscluar skeletal and suggested PT, massage therapy and dry needling. I did some research and decided I would try something not so traditionl and I landed here. Ive seen numerious doctors all over Va, Md and DC.. for 2ndm 3rd and 4th opinions and not finding much relief and all seemed to be a guessing game. I figured what could hurt to try an alternative massage and let me tell you; In two sessions (5 days apart), I have found more relief and gained more range of motion than I have from months of PT, rest, ice, heat, injections after injuction with Healing Hands. we had very in depth discussion about what was bothering me, it was explained what was being done and why. And why MY body was responding the way it was and the long term implications of not correcting it. I think Ive found my forever massage therapists.
