ONLY place for quality glass. I bought one of the smaller spoons and loved it. I used to throw it across the room at the wall or drop it on the floor to clear the bowl and shock my friends.Then I bought one of high end custom wig wag spoons because I liked my little one so much and it’s quality American blown American glass!I dropped it one night off the couch! It bounced 4 feet across my tile living room, 4 more feet across my tile balcony, thru the guardrail and down to the sidewalk 3 stories below.It sounded like a giant nail hitting concrete with a loud PING. I went downstairs and she’s fine. Just a tiny interior scallop. Keep in mind this spoon weighs a ton.Absolutely amazed at the quality and this shop! I wouldn’t believe it if it didn’t happen!

This place is great. I have been going there for several years for all of my glass needs and have bought several pieces. Curtis is very knowledgeable, helpful, and in general provides great customer service. The inventory is great, and all the pieces I have ever bought have been of high quality. They also stands behind their product: I had some broken glass stuck in another piece, and Curtis got it right out. Strongly recommend High Tides!

I have been visiting this smoke shop for three years and it has always been an amazing experience. From the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, to the excellent selection of high-quality pieces, this shop has it all. Curtis is especially helpful in providing honest advice and recommendations when it comes to picking out pieces to complete your setup. I have personally purchased an Ispire Daab Rig, Volcano Vaporizer, Roor 9mm Beaker and all the necessary accessories, and have never been disappointed with the quality of the items. This smoke shop is definitely one of the best around and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great smoke shop and shopping experience.

High tides is where its at. Tried and true. Being a local... this is the only head shop I go to. Time after time, year after year they consistently give me quality products. What I really dig is the fact that they dont try to sell me lame cheaply made garbage, to make a quick buck. John shoots me straight and genuinely cares. His attention to detail is stellar.Keep giving the people what they want high tides!

First time here😊..and I will return..I left Happy. Lonny gave great advice, the store was filled with different, standout glass pieces, pretty overwhelming to the unfocused eye. High Tides is a Gainesville institution. Good selection for glass. They are batting really well when meeting my needs. They also may throw in something extra; anything from a couple cheap lighters to a round mat for your glass water you know what. Last time I got a minor discount to work with my budget.The staff is excellent. They are accommodating and knowledgeable about their stock. I got an item I wasnt looking for because they knew what options would serve my particular need. It was a cheaper option AND not one Im going to lose in a few days (super skinny wire) This is my store.

Best glass shop in Florida, if not the nation. Ive been coast to coast, and no one has come close to the quality of these folks. Let alone the customer service, which is beyond belief. Its been about a decade since my last visit, forgive me lol! Not to mention that they are the only place with triple blown glass pipes, at an unbelievable price! Buddy still smacks them against the counter for you, and states, I could chuck em across the street, and still use em! Glad I had to head to Ocala to get OEM replacements for the Honda cause Id have never remembered/stopped by this fine establishment. And the owner actually came outside to remind me of the awesome playlist I mentioned during my visit, so I had a soundtrack for my adventure. Jalapeño Funk forever! Appreciate yall for life 💯

The best shop in town.... Curtis is a great owner that really takes pride in making sure his customers are taken care of. I just bought one of the new C2 High tides colors edition and I love it!! You would only be wasting your time if you were to shop anywhere else. I have known Curtis for 20 years! I dont know why I havent been on here sooner. Curtis is a straight forward guy and would steer you wrong. He carries some of the best glass in Florida. If its not high quality, durable and made in the U.S.A he doesnt carry it. I have sent too many people to count to High Tides and not one person was unsatisfied. I would recommend this great business with small town hospitality to anyone. Keep up the great work Curtis!

Curtis (Owner) is a true boss who has always been very helpful. I wouldn’t go to any other smoke shop for any purchase, major or minor. High tides really sets the standard for what a smoke shop should be. I’ve been in a rush and been thoroughly helped in less than two minutes, and I’ve come in on a lazy Sunday just to browse and learn more info on products. I’d recommend going to another smoke shop before going here m, just to see the true difference in quality of customer service.

High tides is Awesome! Customer service is better than any head shop in Gainesville. Curtis, the owner, is happy to answer questions about anything in the store and knows what he’s talking about. Their custom creation pieces are some of the nicest glass I have ever used. I highly recommend this place over any head shop in the Gainesville area.

Havent visited the physical store in a long time, but they handled a mail order item with precision and ease. Amazing prices and the friendliest staff you could hope for. Ill be visiting the website again soon. I cant think of a place in FL with this much access to Jerome Baker Items

These guys are great! Ive gotten several things from high tides and Kurt and his employees always do an amazing job. I currently brought back a vape that is having issues and with no questions I got a temporary one until they can resolve the problem with the mod. Id refer high tides to anyone, definitely continuing to give them business. Keep up the great work!

I went there to get a vape device to quit smoking and left with a high quality device and some tasty juice for around $50. Customers service is top notch. Curtis helped me pick a flavor and I even tried the device before I bought( which I think would be a risk for him if I didn’t buy it) but it taste good and Hits good. I also should add that I didn’t know anything about vaping. I just don’t want to smoke anymore so I walked in on a whim and he explained how the device works, filling it and how long the juice last. Went back for another flavor and another guy there is just as helpful. Definitely a store to check out. They also have a ton of glassware there.

This place is not that great. Minimum selection with better choices at other stores in town. The icing on the not visiting this places cake though is the guy who runs it. Yeah hes been here forever, and Ive been a casual customer over the years, but man he really has no interest in going out of his way to lift a finger to help the customer. He really doesnt seem to understand that hes in the service industry and that in Gainesville theres plenty of other, and better head shops in this town that does care and will give quality customer service. I write this review not just from my experiences as being treated poorly but from my observations over time of seeing this happen. Trust me, hit up some other shop in town, youll be glad you did.

Super nice and well informed owner, I’ve bought three pipes (beaker, straight water pipe with a fountain perc, bubbler) and not a single one has cracked or chazzed. Great quality products and reasonable prices. I’m lucky the place is walking distance from me but even if it wasn’t I’d go out of my way to come here.

Visiting from out of town and was so pleasantly surprised to find such an awesome place! This place is the bomb! They will help in any way they can! Friendliest guy behind the counter( sorry didn’t catch his name) was not the owner, but treated us like he was! Definitely going back!!! Highly recommend

YeeHaw - Great place! They have everything you could possibly need. Im old school and they had what I wanted plus educated me on the newer options available. Walking into the shop have your ID ready but expect the best service, most knowledgeable sales reps, and greatest selection in Gainesville. Very friendly customer service no matter who is working and all employees know the products very well. Im overall very satisfied with my experience at High Tides every time I visit. GREAT PLACE!!! i bought a puffco peak for 315.23 after tax and a 10% discount. all peak accessories are 20% off as long as you have your old recipet. at this time modern age peak sells for 400.00 plus tax. but most of all was the owner nice and shows gratitude toward customers.

Awesome e-cig stuff. wonderful glass selection as well! nearly everything ive ever bought there has been less than the price on the sticker. the bossman there is by far my favorite small business owner in gainesville. dude is a wonderful salesman.

Great experience going here after seeing the prices and inventory at other places in town. Prices are on point. Not a huge selection but more than enough inventory and specialty pieces. Didnt even buy anything and they were more than happy to spend the time with me. Will definitely go here when I need something in the future.

The single best shop in town. All of the products are high quality, reasonable priced, and the customer service is 10 out of 10 every time. They are always helpful and knowledgeable about the products and now its the only shop I use.

Friends recommended that I check out High Tides and Im glad I did! The prices are so much better than other shops in town. Also, the owner is super nice and answered all my ridiculous questions. I cant recommend this place enough, it far exceeds others in the Gainesville area.

Always great with helping with anything you need. They actually have a conversation with you every time you go in there which for some one without all the technical knowledge can take away some of that intimidation of spending some money on some quality good whatever they may be.

Used to be my go-to headshop but the service last night was atrocious. Couldnt get the clerk to look at up from the computer. Had to ask for her time to even check out. Sorry, going to Modern Age from now on.

Never open on time, open 11am-9pm. The twi times I visited this shop the opener is late how could you be late you open at 11 am, if your nights are that late you cant get out of bed in time to open at 11 am GO TO BED EARLIER OR LEAVE FOR THE SHOP EARLIER....
