I had Alexandra, and she was the sweetest! She was mindful of my budget and needs. She’s attentive, caring, friendly, and an excellent stylist. My hair was at a bad spot, and she did a phenomenal job of making it look gorgeous and fresh. Couldn’t be happier!!

Natalie is amazing! I will definitely be going back to see her! She is strong and I needed a deep tissue massage. She hit my whole body and focused on my problem areas. Ive had a really hard time finding someone good and professional and now my search is over. Serenity is very calming and a great atmosphere. In other places Ive been to, they dont really have a quiet area and this place does. I will definitely be going back!

Maia does an amazing job! I recently decided to cut a lot of hair off and was nervous so she talked me through every part of the service and made me so comfortable. She even let me come back the next day when I told her I wanted to go even shorter. Shes the best!

Love Beth! She is personable and efficient. She made me feel completely comfortable after a horrible waxing experience at another place. It can also be intimidating getting a wax as a larger bodied person but I never felt that for a second with her. She’s phenomenal!

I absolutely loved the hairstyle I got! Makenna did a wonderful consultation and asked questions to make sure she got the perfect look! She also suggested ways we could achieve everything I wanted! She went above and beyond and it turned out amazing!!

If I could give more stars, I would. I have never been treated so well by people who were strangers to me. I spent the day with my daughter on her 6th birthday getting our nails done and our haircuts. On top of the incredible work they did, they also made her feel like the most important person in the place and went out of their way to put together a birthday present for her. Gabbie from Serenity Couture takes very good care of my hair. She checks it when I go in for my monthly appointment to see if it needs evened up or any other attention. Then she shampoos and styles it beautifully.

Kiersten is fabulous as always! We did a big change and she walked me through the whole process of how to get what we wanted in the most healthy way possible. We chatted the whole time and it was a long appointment. She is just always so caring, so professional and so good at what she does. She is the reason I continue to come back again and again. She also recommends the best product for my hair. Iv been a client with her for 4 years now and am still amazed at her talent.

Kizzi was professional, accommodating, and friendly. My experience was great and I love my pedicure!

I had bought my wife $180 dollars worth of gift cards to get her hair and nails done. The lady that did her hair had family come in and forgot about my wife, leaving the perm solution in to long causing not only frying her hair but causing chemical burns to the back of her head. To top this off while processing the payment they only give her credit for $150 instead of the &180 worth I had bought her. Not a good look for a professional salon.

I have come here over the last few years and have always had a lovely experience! Whether getting my Hair done, getting a massage or my nails done. This time specifically I am in LOVE with how my hair turned out

I am a hard working mother and very much deserved this, I loved my experience at this spa! Natalie was amazing with the massage and very professional. The pedicure I received was very much magical. I recommended this spa with all of me! Amazing environment and VIBES! All the ladies there are very professional, catering and sweet. Thank you serenity culture i enjoyed my visit and look forward to coming back.

I had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment. I gave the stylist pictures of front, side and back of the up-do I wanted. She assured me she could do it. I ended up with a football helmet shellacked to my head. I then went to get my make up airbrushed (Beth was amazing - 5+ stars!!) and the artist could tell I was upset. She went to the front desk to ask if someone could fix my up-do quickly (I was already late for the photos) They did find someone to help soften the style, but by that point there was so much product on my hair it was essentially straw. I will say that all of the stylists were very sweet. BUT they knew it was a bad up-do and I still had to pay full price. I will not recommend this salon nor will I go back.

I scheduled an appt for Friday may 24th and confirmed my appointment on Wednesday. Thursday the 23rd I get a text to say swe you at your appt on may 24th. I then drive from ankeny to valley west mall for my appt and there is a sign to say mall closed due to power outage. I then found out the mall has been closed since Wednesday and they did not send me a text prior to say this nor anything to reschedule. Instead of getting the text on the 23rd to say sèe you on the 24th it should have said we need to cancel due to a power outage Am not very happy as this was my first time visiting this facility.

I enjoyed a wonderful Spa experience with Kizzi! She made sure I was comfortable and took her time giving me a pedicure and manicure. Thank you Kizzi!!

Alexandra’s personality is everything, she is so so sweet and makes it known you are her focus while in her chair. She helped me go out of my comfort zone giving her honest opinions.. all I did was listen to her and I couldn’t be more obsessed with my new hair!10/10 recommend her as your stylist!

I had an appointment scheduled yesterday at 1pm, I showed up and they said that my stylist was sick that they cant see me.... having more stylist there... they said they called and even left a voicemail when I never got any of those, for sure Im not going back there anymore, very unnprofessionals, they should know that situations like that are really gonna affect the customers time, and plans 0 STARS.

Makenna was amazing! I only got an eyebrow wax, but she made me feel comfortable during the whole experience! She made sure to do a consultation beforehand and ensured I was happy with the end results after the service was complete. Will definitely be coming back for many more services with Makenna!

Nancy did a great job on my hair today! She listened well to what I wanted and executed the cut and style perfectly.

Not only is Becca an absolute sweetheart, she’s hands down the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. I did not do a great job explaining my needs, as I generally struggle with hair terminology. But Becca understood exactly what I wanted and completely surpassed my expectations. Plus her neck and head massages are magical. I’m never going to anybody else!!! Thank you so much , Becca. Called and got an appointment. Arrived and checked in. After waiting 5 minutes was told the person with whom I had appointment was not coming in and I would need to wait 30 minutes. They claimed they called and left me a message - I showed them my phone history and we all saw there was no call. A waste of time and fortunately I found another place where I got a great service.

Juliana did an awesome job on my hair. She gave me great tips on how to keep my hair healthy and recommended products that I could use. I could tell she really knew her stuff and was passionate about her career. When she was finished with my hair she walked me out and stopped by the hair products to show me the products she recommended. Juliana is very talented and I will be scheduling with her again!

My stylist listened to what my ideas were in regards to a new style. She gently guided me through how the style would be best cut and managed. Her personality was charming and positive. I plan to make her my new go to.

Molly was amazing. She spent four hours taking my hair from a dull gray/brown to a beautiful highlighted blonde. She kept expectations realistic, was very personable and always listened. I could not recommend her enough. I will be coming back to Molly for all my salon needs moving forward. Serenity Couture is an amazing place to get your hair done!

Molly took me on short notice because my regular stylist was sick today. She did a fantastic job, asking me how I wanted it cut and then demonstrated what she had done as we went along. Molly had great customer service by ask me questions to get to know me, etc. and we did have some things in common. Go Hawks! I will definitely be back!

Jacy is amazing!! I look forward to seeing her each month and feel like a million bucks when I am finished. She stocks my favorite scents and has the right amount of pressure to make it beneficial AND relaxing for my muscles. I love my monthly massages with her! Shes the best.

Most relaxing & detailed pedicure I’ve ever had. Kizzi was fabulous!

We had Nancy and Sara for pedicures today and absolutely loved the experience. I prefer the hot towels to the foot bath at other pedicure establishments. There were so many massages and treatments. Our feet look amazing the spa atmosphere was so relaxing and the nail technicians were wonderful. We will definitely be back for more services!

Jaci did a great job. The front office was hospitable. They offered me something to drink and a warm wrap to relax my neck muscles while I waited in a very comfortable chair. Next time I will arrive early to enjoy that more.

Natalie was very knowledgeable with the few questions I had joining a new spa and enducating me on the different facial options. She was personable and made me feel very comfortable throught both services. I left feeling relaxed and well cared for.

Unfortunately, I have not had the best luck with Serenity Couture. My first bridal hair stylist quit abruptly after doing my bridal trial run and I was notified via instagram, “I am no longer with Serenity Couture.” However, I was later provided a free trial run to make up for this. The 2nd hairstylist was great! She did a good job with helping my fine hair hold a curl. She followed up to see how my hair did and asked if we needed to change anything moving forward. However, she notified me 1 hr prior to my day of bridal updo appointment that she could not make it to the appointment. That leads me to this wonderful 3rd hairstylist, Becca. She was called at home, showed up without knowing anything about my hair or wants and didn’t complain once. She was as extremely professional. I showed her some pictures from the last trial run and my hair turned out beautiful!! She listened well, worked with me, was very kind, and did an excellent job. My curls stayed in all day and through the reception! Thanks for jumping in and saving my wedding day. 💜Additionally, when I did my airbrush makeup trial run, it looked good. She covered up my sun burn well, but I needed some more color to my face. Additionally, the makeup came off very quickly and easily. The makeup artist told me this is normal, as makeup will always rub off. However, after researching, I had hoped airbrush makeup would have lasted more than an hour or so.

Le is amazing! She does great work and is always so sweet. If you are looking for a new place to go, then I would recommend here.

Best massage ever! I was greeted immediately when walking in, offered a water and taken right back to my room where I received the best massage Ive ever had from Sarah. The room and table temperature were very comfortable, other places I get too hot. I will be back!

Alyxx is a gem of a human and stylist. She is very focused on you as a person and your hair wishes. Perfection is her goal and I always look great when I leave. And for a good long time as it grows out.

I never get cut or styled (Im bald). Full disclosure, my wife works here. I will say that each time Ive stopped by for any reason, the ladies at the front desk are always receptive, helpful, and treat my 2 girls with respect and make them feel important. Thats worth 5 stars.

Jacy was absolutely incredible!! Im a new mom and havent done much for myself since my son was born, I am SO glad I finally did! I have never been so relaxed in my life. She literally found every place I was holding tension and worked it out with the perfect amount of pressure. She even found some pain points I didnt even realize I had. I feel like a whole new woman! :) I will never get a massage or spa service anywhere else again, and will make sure to let my family/friends know how amazing your treatments are.

Everyone was extremely welcoming to me, I was a walk-in customer that needed a haircut and they were able to squeeze me in. The lady that did my hair was efficient and super friendly! I wish I caught her name, because if I did I would highly recommend her. They are super affordable too, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Although I have just recently started seeing Becca I feel like we have a great hair relationship. She listens so well to my wants and needs & is careful to style my hair perfectly each cut or to let me know options that would work better with my hair. I have been shopping around for a new stylist for several haircuts and now with Becca I plan on using her exclusively, for my cuts and colors. In short, Becca is very talented at her craft!

I loved my experience of getting my hair done with Bailey! She made me feel comfortable even though I was so nervous about putting red in my hair and she was able to double book my sister and I and get us done quicker and it wasn’t even stressful for us! At age 60 this was my first ever facial, and it was one of the best pampering experiences I have had. Beth was fabulous, and she will be seeing me again.

Gabby did a phenomenal job. It’s been a couple years since my last haircut, and I have very thick, coarse, dry hair. I was also worried about losing length. She took off just what was needed and gave my hair new life. She also took the time to fully style my hair, which is not an easy task. Definitely will book with her again.

Kirsten and Brooke were wonderful and went above and beyond to help us. I did not realize they wouldn’t have colored extensions on-hand, but rather than making me special order them and wait a week, the manager ran across town to their other location to pick up extensions, they dyed them for us, and my daughter’s friend was able to customize them to the exact color she wanted. Brooke did a fantastic job and the end result looked AWESOME. Kirsten was so friendly and patient, pausing often to let me snap photos of the process for my daughter’s first hair dyeing experience. She took special care to make my daughter‘s color stand out without looking brassy or fried. She LOVES it! I was so impressed with how friendly and helpful the entire staff was and we will definitely return!

Jacy is the best! I get massages with her regularly and highly recommend her! I also LOVE getting pedicures at Serenity. Their services are just so much better than the dine a dozen nail salons. Once you switch you’ll be hooked!

I had to wait about 15 minutes after my appointment time but Nancy was amazing and I love the outcome! Will definitely be back. This is probably one of the best experiences I have had with in the last several years. Nancy was super helpful by writing down the products she used so I can style and maintain my hair.

Michelle was so wonderful! She took her time and got advice when she needed it. I was so relaxed I fell asleep! I never felt any tugs when brushing my hair or during the shampoo process. This was my first time getting a professional salon experience and I loved it. I will definitely be back!

Jacie was attentive to my health issues and addressed all concerns. She customized my massage so that it was just the right balance of therapy and relaxation for me. I was given a glass of wine and was able to just sit and relax a bit after my massage. It was a great experience!

Michelle fixed the damage that someone else did to my hair! She knew how to fix all the fall colors my hair had into a beautiful light brown with caramel highlights. Very professional and knowledgeable, friendly and polite. This was my first time in this place, and they just gained a loyal customer!

This was one of the best facials Ive ever had. It was simultaneously relaxing and effective. I felt like my skin concerns were being addressed with the treatment, but I was very relaxed. The massaging of the skin felt amazing, and all of the products smelled so good.Patty answered a lot of my questions regarding home skin care and explained everything really well.I really am already looking forward to my next treatment and will definitely schedule with Patty again, as well as recommend her to others.

Tracy is the best stylist I have ever met or come across. Not only is she the only one I trust with my hair but her ability connect with me as a person is something that I truly appreciate. Very clean and nice place to start with, the staff there were very kind. My stylist Molly was very amazing at her job I had gotten a perm and while it was a lengthy process she was very fun to talk to and made the time fly by. Will definitely be coming back I’m very glad I gave this place a shot

Ashlie was amazing!! She transformed my hair from terrible to beautiful and she reallyyy had put in the work to make it happen considering my hair was home colored previously. She really did her thing and gave me exactly what I would’ve hoped for!! She was so nice and reassuring and at one point she even charged my phone for me!! Also their salon is gorgeous all the cute little decorations really make it a bright and inviting environment to have your hair done!! Will most definitely be back, my next appt is already on the schedule!! I overall had an amazing experience!!!

I go here for deep tissue massages. I have seen Natalie and Jacy. They have been so great! The best massages I’ve had in the Des Moines area.

Kirsten, was very polite very gentle and kind. She was very informative about the health of my hair and how I can care for it better! She made me feel very comfortable, conversing with Kirsten is like having your best friend doing your hair but she actually know what she’s doing :D I loved my experience at Serenity Couture everyone was very polite and helpful specially my stylist Kirsten! Tracy is AWESOME. She was able to fix a horrible haircut that Id received at another salon - and without having to chop off all of my hair. She is clearly highly-skilled at what she does. I love my new cut and would definitely recommend her!

I had a 30 minute massage and She was amazing.. I will most definitely be going back! She made me feel relaxed and put me at ease which says a lot when your getting naked for a stranger lol.. I have no complaints I will be telling my friends to go see her.

The stylists at this place are great, but the receptionist are a whole different story. When you come to a salon, you come to have someone make you feel great about yourself. The receptionists are the ones who are the first impressions of this place and instead of being welcoming to their guests, they belittle and make you feel terrible about yourself. When you then call to talk to management about how they treat their guest, they take no responsibility and blame the customer instead. I recommend all the great stylists here to find a new place to work and no one to come here due to the poor receptionist and management.

I come here when I want to splurge on spa services! I love facials and the results of the hydra facial blew my mind. I would go here once a month if I could afford it. Great environment, knowledgeable and talented staff.

I brought my 11 year old cousin in for a girls day and she had a blast. Both Beth and Alex were very cool and understanding and were always asking her if she was comfortable and like everything. It really made her day!Thanks!

I have been going for a massage and pedicure monthly for several months and the service and atmosphere are positively great. I highly reccomend Natalie for a massage. She even took the time today to show me some stretches that I could do at home to loosen a particularly tight muscle.

My stylist Alondra was so wonderful! She was welcoming, friendly, very sweet and did an amazing job on my cut. The other staff members I interacted with were also a pleasure! Huge, beautiful salon with a lot of services. 100% recommend.

Not impressed whatsoever. I’ve had 1 pedicure there before and absolutely loved it, the second time, however, was very far from my first experience.When we sat down (my friend and I), it instantly just felt like our service providers were rushing. My first experience, we received a foot, arm, neck & shoulders, and a calf massage, which were amazing. This time around, we got a rushed foot massage and a 60 second neck massage and that was it.... and that was the part I was looking forward to the most.When it comes to the paint job, we upgraded to gel, and my application was patchy and shear. For $95 dollars (before tip), I would’ve expected SO much more. Very frustrated and disappointed, because I’m not someone who treats myself very often and I had my expectations high given that my first experience was extravagant. Will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out.

Ive been getting my hair done here for the past two years now and I havent had any complaints! They are very nice and always offer you a drink when you check in for appointments and are helpful when you need help picking out products. Alyxx had no idea how much this haircut meant to me. As a mom a four kids 5 and under I rarely wash my hair let alone get it cut and styled! I usually get my hair cut once a year or less but I’m planning on coming back sooner than that! This was an overall great experience. I felt I was lucky because they got me in for a Saturday morning appt when I called on Wednesday. Even though, that meant I ended up with the less experienced stylist. He did fine touching up my roots &greys... I also liked the few curls he threw in for styling. Except, I shouldnt have to have asked him about removing the dye stains on the skin around my hairline. To be fair though, Im terrible at complaining or asking for something to be fixed if its not to my liking. Wont be preventing me from checking out their very impressive array of spa facial products & services next time Im in town!!!

To start I royaly messed up my appointment when setting it up. They really came through in a pinch and Nicholas stepped up at the last minute and spent 4 hours perming my hair. . I must tell you about the amazing professionalism and service I have received from Serenity Couture Salon Spa and Stylist Karina Cline. I recently had a color and cut that I was very disappointed in. I am certainly not putting blame here on anyone for I believe anytime you decide to do something to your hair it is a two way street. Communication is a must and sometimes it just falters. However, I gathered up my courage and made an appointment with my stylist to explain how I wasnt sure where we went wrong. It was very hard for me to do this and wasnt sure what the outcome was going to be. But I was blown away by Karinas professionalism when I came to her with my concerns. She listened to me and made every effort to rectify what I was not happy with. She had me in two more times just to get us to the place I desired to be. There was no service fees and I am over the moon for my hair now!! I am so impressed with them. Which I have been as I have been a client for probably a decade and have always loved my stylists work. But this was my first time where I really wasnt pleased and I was so tickled to see how I was treated. Thank you Serenity and Thank you Karina!! I saw Bailey yesterday for the first for a haircut. Bailey really took the time to make sure my haircut was nice and even, then curled my hair. I love the length and how my hair was styled. Bailey was really personable and I highly recommend her!

Everything was great! Even though I live in Texas and am just visiting family in Des Moines, I will definitely be back whenever I come in to visit family. Two things really stood out for me: first cleanliness. I have never been to a tubless pedi spa but I didn’t miss it even a little. The other standout was how relaxing it was. So many nail places just rush through services but it was the perfect pace. And I have never received a shoulder rub and arm massage during a pedicure. It was wonderful!

I always have the best experience with my stylist. I have experienced several services at this location: waxing, massage, pedicure & manicure, and I regularly get my hair cut and colored. Review for a pedicure: I want to give more stars but just not sure I can. The original experience was fun, new and different. I have never received a pedicure the way this salon does it. Its very relaxing, but just different. Friendly staff, but I had an appointment time and it was 15 minutes later before I got called back.I had a problem with my big toes drying very oddly, so I went back the following day and they fixed them and they looked perfect. Without charge which I was very thankful for, considering how much Id spent the day before. The second time they dried well and looked great, but only for a day. The next day we went swimming and the polish started chipping. I have had hundreds of pedicures and this has never happened the next day. Mostly, for spending double what I would normally on a pedicure I think I expected slightly more from it.

I did not have an appointment but I was able to get in within 10 mins and the stylist who cut and styled my hair was awesome I will def recommend her and come back for future visits thank you !!

I went here for the first time to get a couples massage with my boyfriend.Esthetically, the salon is very nice! It almost puts you in an illusion with floor to ceiling mirrors and creates a giant atmosphere that seems to go on and on.The spa was just as nice! Low lighting with lounge chairs to relax. I really appreciated all the complimentary Aveda products that are available to use in the locker room.Natalie did a wonderful job on my massage and I’ll definitely be back to see her!

I love coming here. Its so relaxing the moment you step in to the moment you leave. When you check in you are offered a complimentary drink. The stylist I go to Alyxx is always so sincere and makes sure her clients are comfortable and satisfied at the end appointment. I also love to get massages here. I go to Natalie shes extremely professional and makes sure throughout the appointment the pressure is right for you. The spa area is so peaceful the lights are dim but bright enough for you to see around you without trouble. The locker room is always clean and has a shower if you need it after your massage.

Victoria did my balayage and it looked great. She is meticulous and gentle and taught me a lot about hair care. I truly appreciate her hard work and talent

Brandee was PHENOMENAL! Couldn’t have been happier with my experience. She was professional, friendly and does what she can to make the experience as comfortable as possible. The service I received today was a Brazilian. I’ve had several from other waxers in the past - this was my first with Brandee and she has a new loyal customer! Previous waxers I visited - I would leave dripping in sweat and in a lot of pain. I left SC today happy with the outcome and pain free. Highly recommend!

Tracy always does a fabulous job! She also takes the time to explain everything in detail. Ive had multiple bad experiences with hair stylists in the past, even from Aveda. My sister told me to give Serenity a chance and I couldnt be happier. I wouldnt let anyone else or place touch my hair!

Excellent haircut and overall experience!!! Great that Courtney stepped in to take my appointment for someone else who I had scheduled using their on-line system !!!I received at least two confirmation request for my appointment which I made using your on-line website and then I am told when I arrive that person I scheduled with wasn’t even working?Guess in the future I will call to make an appointment.

I dont recommend this place. I went for a consultation to have my hair lightened. They did a strip test to see what the outcome would be (cut a piece of hair and bleached it for 20 minutes) and it came out looking good and had lightened up some. I asked how much it would cost and they said unsure until they actually did it but would be a little over $200. So I made an appointment and went in and had it done. My appointment was at 12:00. I walked out of there at 6:23 that evening. The girl that did my hair left that chemical stuff on my hair by sections for at least 1 1/2 hours each. After each section was complete she dyed my roots and then cut my hair. When I say cut my hair she just took the scissors straight across it. Never tried styling it with any kind of cut. I went to pay and they stated that I owed them $481.00. I about died at the price but paid it....what could I do...right?? The color was way off from the original consultation color (which would be considering the time frame it was left on there) but I was ok with it until the next day when I seen just how bad she fried my hair. (I knew there would be some damage because of the process)...but it looked as if someone had taken fire to it. It just crumbled into the sink when I washed it. Then there was what it looked like as far the cut.....HORRIBLE!!!!!! When I say my hair was awful I mean it looked AWFUL. I had to go to another salon and have them fix the mess that this girl did to my hair.

Sarah did an excellent job of relaxing me with a neck warmer and a shoulder massage before starting my pedicure. She even massaged my hands while working on my pedicure. Her pedicure helps to remove the pain in my feet from arthritis.

Jess did a fantastic job cutting my hair. She is patient, kind and really listened. She shared her knowledge and reasons why something would work, or not. My color is always on point. Couldnt be any happier!!

I usually never go back to the same place twice cause of the person but Beth is seriously so personable and she does a FANTASTIC job with my eyebrows!! Definitely going back to her and definitely going to try a facial with her too!

Apparently, this location doesnt like men. We live 80 miles away. The first time my husband was on his way in for an appointment when we received a call the stylist wasnt available. He turned around and drove the 40 miles back home again. Today, the second time, he went in for a 10AM appointment and was the first customer in the door. After 8 people went in front of him, including 5 walk-ins, he learned his stylist wasnt in yet, but he could wait but they were unable to say when that might possibly be. Is the issue hes a man? Disabled? Not young? Why do they only style mens hair in the back of the salon? This salon just lost 2 customers because i wont be returning either.

We thought the stylist did an excellent job after looking at a photo and analyzing my grandsons hair. We love the look!

I was given great, prompt service in an environment I dont typically feel comfortable in. Every one from the service reps to my hair stylist ( Jaci?) To Beth who waxed my eyebrows were professional and pleasant to encounter. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a luxurious experience.

Mariza is absolutely phenomenal. I had a lot of issues almost 4 years ago before coming to her, my hair was damaged. Not because I wasn’t doing what I needed. And now it’s way healthy. Most importantly I trust her, and respect her. She will be honest with what she feels, and if I want to go drastic, she will talk me through it. She suggests products, but doesn’t push them (though being a Pure Privileged member I am SOLD) Mariza never misses a beat, and with that infectious smile of hers, it makes me feel comfortable sitting in her chair every 5 weeks. Not only does my hair and brows thank her (LOL), I DO!

Beth did my daughter’s makeup and Michelle did her hair for homecoming and they both did an awesome job. My daughter really liked both of them and was very pleased with the results. Thank you.

I love my experience at Serenity. Whether it is for my hair or massage I relax the minute I hit the door. The service I receive is always friendly and helpful. The results are wonderful. My hair is healthy and looks better than ever and my body cant wait to lay on the table and experience my message. I have also had a pedi and meant a wonderful person while experiencing the best pedi ever a dry one. So good for people that are diabetic. The extra little things they do make you feel so special.

I received a mani and a pedi from Kizzy. Yes, my nails came out fabulous. What really made my experience outstanding was her ability to sense I needed quiet and she provided that. When we moved over for my finger nails, she eased me into some very delightful stories about her family. Kizzy has a talent of making a person relax while being in the moment. And in doing so made the whole experience excellent.

I go to a different business regularly for waxing, but there was an issue for my scheduled appointment. I chose Serenity based on a recommendation for another service and happened to be able to get on Brandees schedule last minute. I will highly recommend her to anyone in the area and will definitely be back if something goes awry with my regular person.

This was my first time to Serenity and I was so impressed! I went in not knwoing what to expect but came out very content. Elizabeth did an amazing job with my haircut and was very friendly and talkative which I always enjoy!

Left in tears. I have NEVER felt so patronized, dismissed, disappointed and disheartened.Two months ago I spent quite a bit of $ to lighten my hair at SCVW. It was a wonderful result and left me with the option to TONE it and see what my perfect color may be before my wedding. After a couple of weeks, I called to see if they could fit me in for a “Jessica Rabbit Red” toner. Esmeralda was happy to help and placed me with a young girl. After showing specific pictures and discussing how I only wanted a toner and to keep it “light and bright”. The girl seemed confused but reassured me that it would work out. 20+ minutes after the application and a heavy rinse later, my heart dropped. it was dark brown with a weird wine red overtone at the root that was uneven and nothing close to what I asked for. All dimension I had worked so hard for previously was gone. I tried to tell her this was all wrong and she kept insisting it was the formula I wanted. No. Then she said it’s a semi permanent color and would lighten over the next couple of months. The more I tried to have her understand where I was coming from, the more she argued that it was my fault. I asked to speak to the person running the salon and Esmerelda came over as I was sitting in the chair, fighting to hold back tears. She asked what was wrong and when I explained she said she would be right back. On her return she looks at me and says “show me the reference pictures” and I did. She insists that they are not what I showed the stylist (who was nowhere to be seen now) and that it was RED and if I though it was brown, she had brown hair and I was mistaken very matter of factly. I couldn’t hold back anymore, the tears rolled. She insisted I come to the front desk (5-10 girls there now watching all of this standing behind the counter). One of them comes over as I’m sobbing and embarrassed at this point and asks how everything was and what my total would be. No. I refused to pay until we made a plan to have them fix the mistake. Esmeralda said I wouldn’t be invited to the salon again until I payed for the service. I was shocked. She then said “When you come back, you will be expected to pay for the full service.” As in, the washout, the lightening , the recolor, the styling….Did I just get scammed?! What should have been a quick $60 toner turned into a botched mess ruining 6 months of appointments, treatments and care obsolete. I am begging to leave the salon at this point because of the crowd of employees and her patronizing insensitivity. She says “You are welcome to leave and I will call you tomorrow when you have had time to calm down.”It’s been 3 weeks. Not a single word. Not a single call. No apology, follow up, repair plan… nothing.Absolutely heartbroken that a place I once trusted on many levels left me feeling embarrassed, self conscious and defeated. I even cancelled my engagement pictures because of this ordeal.Please do better.After 7 years of trusting and coming to the Valley West location.Pictures: #1 (beautiful lightening job that was ruined) / #2 (the results of the incident) / #3 ( the reference picture)Heartbroken is an understatement.

I am a female that has to have very short hair and it makes a lot of hair stylists uneasy I have noticed so it was awesome finding a stylist that was excited to use the clippers on me . My hair looks great and I’m super happy that my sister and I don’t have to cut my hair ourselves anymore :)

Terrible experienceI’ve wasted my money by scheduling appointments hereIt was makeup application service, I asked for face soft glam, it was all cakey. I asked her to tone it down, she was like I’ll not tone it down it will not look good.They did not even have settling spray.And she she did only face makeup, she did not cover my neck, not even ear.Really what kind of makeup look does not cover ear and face ?
