Just wanted to stop by and say thank you to Paige T for helping me choice a new flavor and your kindness. Paige was very knowledgeable about products and the delivery service CIV offers, she also took some extra time to explain a few things I had questions on.Thank you again Paige & CIV!!

I moved over to WDSM back in April and haven’t gone to another vape shop because this one checks all my boxes! The employees are always super helpful and knowledgeable! One employee in specific, Paige, deserves a direct shout out tho- she is kind, helpful, and patient! Super refreshing to interact with someone so bubbly and kind during their work day especially towards the end of a long night! Paige deserves a raise for the great energy she puts out in the shop!!!

10/10 The workers know their trade well, and are very knowledgeable. Had some great conversation and got some amazing recommendations from the manager Paige. I had an amazing experience and would definitely go back again!

Got the strawberry ice razz vape and love it! my cashier was Paige and she was super sweet. very fair prices imo. i will definitely be returning here!

I’ve shopped here for years…..NEVER AGAIN. Long story short, I was already stressed….single mom with ADHD kid, drove through a snow storm to get to CIV, only to discover at register I left my debit card at home. Everyone’s worst nightmare….and frantically tore through my purse to find old cards to cover my purchase.The staff immediately quit being friendly, stopped talking to me and would not even return a smile. Maybe they felt awkward, but the employee who was “assisting” me was absolutely awful; he glared at me the entire time, gruffly mumbled something about if I was going to pay and acted as though I was the scum of the earth. I smiled and tried to make small talk through the humiliation….he completely ignored/wouldnt respond to me.It felt like the walk of shame leaving the store….not even a “Goodbye” or “Have a nice day.” Even my 6 year old son noticed and said “They are mean! I never, ever, ever want to go back there again”! Needless to say, I now shop at a completely different franchise; even though it’s twice the distance away, but definitely worth it to avoid this place!

Paige is an absolute sweetheart every single time I come in! Truly my favorite person to see when I’m there! :)

I always have some sort of issue when I come to this location. The staff tries, I guess, but they just dont seem to know the products as well as the Grimes location. I purchased a replacement device because mine was getting soaked in juice, it was not covered for a free replacement. Then I had the same issue. Turns out it was because I was using the wrong juice. So I bought a 3rd device (at the Grimes location) with the correct e-liquid and never had another issue. Another issue was purchasing disposable devices, I asked for non-freeze flavors and was assured that they were not freeze but they were. So I spent nearly $50 on items I could not use. Again, going to the Grimes store, they informed me that they were all freeze in that brand although they were not labeled as such.However, I love that my rewards go to all of the locations so I dont have to deal with a punch card.

The young gentleman i spoke to was sympothetic to the fact that i am visiting from out of town and broke my tank. He confirmed they had a replacement glass for it, and even changed it and cleaned out the broken glass for me. Recommended a juice based off of my parameters, and suggested a juice that was actually already my favorite. Very helpfull, and very polite.

The staff here has always been amazing. They go above and beyond for their customers. I encountered a small discrepancy in my visit today and the were immediately on they case! They got down to the root of the problem with empathy and kindness. This will forever be my go to store for efficient and friendly service. You guys are all Rockstars! I came in to get a new device as mine just stopped charging. The lady that help me tonight( on 8/24/20) was outstanding. I’ve been going to ICV for 5yrs now and never experienced such Exceptional customer service. She was very knowledgeable and helped me out tremendously. She help me pick out a great little mod. Thank you and I’ll be returning again to this location.

I went to the WDM location on my lunch break to get some disposable vapes. I was immediately greeted enthusiastically by a salesman (not sure of the name, he was tall, skinny, and had shaggy hair) who was extremely helpful. He recommended great flavors and took the time to explain each brand. Thank you for the great recommendations and service, Ill be back!

Guys are awesome and super approachable. Being new to Vapes it was relieving to feel like they were there to help and very friendly.

Great experiences at Central Iowa Vapors on Ashworth. Laid back atmosphere, knowledgeable employees, and great product stock. Ive been able to get vape juice ordered when they are out of stock generally available within a couple of days. Employees have no problem talking shop about vaping and will answer all of your questions without pushing products or a particular brand. A little less selection than Merle Hay location, but definitely the best vape shop in West Des Moines.

Absolutely love this store to find all good vape juices but beware some times their supply is out of date and do not taste fresh or of good quality. Still would recommend just dont go to the west des moines shop.. thats where most of the time its expired and taste nasty.

Boy was I glad when these guys moved in next door. Ive been a customer for many years and this is a great shop! These guys and gals are clean, professional, and very knowledgeable. Nothing like the questionable head shops thats also carry Vapes.

Literally the cleanest store Ive ever been too. Great atmosphere and the workers are great. Usually takes me 5 minutes to stop and get what I need.

For the past 5 years I have exclusively purchased all my vape needs from CIV locations - and I haven’t had a single negative experience at any of the locations. The customer service is outstanding and they always have what I need in stock (plus more lol.) Thank you CIV Team! 🙏😁

I travel for work and we’ve been to vape stores all over the country. This is a Great store. Very clean and professional. Brad was super helpful and knowledgeable about flavors. 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be back for our vape needs while we’re here!
